I try to do good because I have found that doing good profits me more than doing the ungood. Take insulting people on here. Whenever I insult anyone I feel like I am burning in hell. A voice in my head says, "buda, surely you could have responded a lot more intelligently than that". So I start to hate myself for not being intelligent, and then I hate how unintelligent I feel, so gradually, I am teaching myself not to insult anyone so that I never feel bad. Besides, it is so much more satisfying to turn the other cheek to those who insult me and who might supposedly deserve to be insulted back because, first, its just a cyber slap that neither hurts my body nor my soul; and second, like a real slapper, their cyber hand gets tired before they hit the seven times seventieth slap especially if I caress their cheek with my soft intellectual hands, and nothing is more satisfying and enjoyable than defeating hatred with love is what I have found. If I do bad, like say I steal for instance, I would have to look over my shoulder to ensure I am not caught, and while looking over my shoulder I would not see where I am going and would likely walk into a pole or fall into a ditch, and how silly of me that would indeed be. If I steal I would have to tell lies too, and then would I also have to keep track of the lies I've told to whom, which all takes up a lot of brain power and my time, which eventually becomes stress as I'm constantly looking over my shoulder instead of where I am going, and have to remind myself which lie I might have told to whom in case I mix up lies and get found out to be a liar, and in the process and all along, I would have ignorantly been stealing from myself because all the brain resource being used to maintain a lie could have been used to advance my own self and make myself a better human being, but I stupidly would have been stealing that brain resource from myself and wasted it on lying because I stole! How much more stupid than that could I possibly be! Why not just not steal nor lie and instead use all that resource to work for what I want? I'd sure delight in the rewards of expending the sweat of my brow, with my integrity intact to boot! Na, its not some God that stops me doing bad. Its the brain that God put in my head and gave me the strenght to develop that makes me try very very hard to only do that which is good and to reap the profit in so doing. Its like a person who sows corn reaps corn and a person who sows cocoa reaps cocoa, a person who sows the ungood reaps the ungood that they sow, and so buda sows good so buda reaps a peaceful mind. Do note! buda is a work in progress.

Arda1000:Someone told you I don't live on the same street as you live? Is that because you believe each ethnic group should live on separate streets? I seriously feel for you. |
luvmijeje:The title of the thread is Redpilled. They just don't want to own up. |
basilico:Qanon is subsubhuman, Bas. They live in an alternative reality comprised of false information and lies, and anyone associating with them a bit too much would find it hard to be respected by thinking reasoning human beings. Here is a qanon type thread so you may see for yourself and likely cringe. |
Arda1000:Do know that they will have to go past your house in order to get to mine, and by your own reasoning they would not discriminate between you and I, and you just might end up as collateral damage. So be careful what you wish for as you might be wishing it on to your very own self. |
EnlightenedUFO:Ibime, please see an enlightened mature response to that you would rather insult and imagine how it would feel if the same audit finds nothing to see there as you likely believe it would. Can you not imagine how much fun it would be saying "egg on your qanon face"! I tell you that I personally think its worth waiting till August, though considering the drumptf second term inauguration, it would probably shift to September then November then December and likely every month in 2022, but it would still be worth waiting for as one would have the opportunity to learn the valuable skill of patience. |
Ibime:Why must you exchange ideas? Must you agree with one another or necessarily understand each other? Can't you have your own ideas and they have their's? Does the reasoning of some other affect the food on your table? Does insulting other's make you feel big and superior? buda does not have the authority to tell you what you must do, so please knock yourself out and insult to your hearts content if that is your desire. Not everyone must join the Voluntary No Insulting Sunday Morning Club! |
benalvino2:No I did not know what I posted has nothing to do with what you posted. If I knew, I would not have posted it. |
Yes, and no. If your child or an adult watches stupid telly they are likely to be stupid, and if they watch good telly they could be smart because telly watching kind of programs the mind, same as books. Quality matters. I'm not a fan of Nollywood, but my sister who is highly intelligent and speaks much better Yoruba than I can tells me she learnt it watching Nollywood and I am envious. I know someone who watches a lot of evangelism, but we can't talk much because she swears by the miracles and believes they raise the dead. Odd enough I went to visit her in a hospital a couple if months ago and was tempted to ask why I wasn't visiting her in a church. I personally can't see how bbnaija could possibly beat a good book or any book for that matter, but I guess I'd never know as I've never watched Naija's or UK's or anywhere's at all for that matter. In fact, in the days it was on and I was flicking channels, my telly yelled, "what the fuq" if I didn't flick away quick time, and it would sulk for weeks even if I did. I know a child who watched a lot Teletubbies as a baby. Her first language was teletubbic and was very annoying indeed. She went on to write her first book by 8 years old, and a fine intelligent book it is too. On the other hand the same sort of programs could kill some peoples brain cells forever, as you might figure from the below. budaatum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZCgbGgA-_8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3ZJ0oITwpM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqyziA30whE |

cornelman:I think you assume too much power to Buhari. If me and my people decide to go and kidnap someone, what power is invested in Buhari to stop us? We are a very smart and, arguably, an intelligent group of people who would plan our kidnapping very well, so how would buhari instil normalcy in our ignorant heads so we apply our intelligence in better ventures and decide to not kidnap? What is this "power vested in him and at his disposal as the GCFR to quench such activities"? |
UstazAhmed:And with us doing whatever must be done to contribute to Nigerias success.
|
benalvino2:Note how your post is them correcting their error, which is not the case with Buhari's tweet. No one claims twitter is perfect, and them admitting an error increases my respect and regard for them. I would think much less of twitter if they never admitted a mistake, just as I would respect myself or anyone else who did not admit they erred. There was a person on here recently who admitted an error about foreign students voting in US elections. On noting their error they admitted it and my respect and regard for the individual shot so far through the roof that it hit God's ass in heaven and I had to up myself and personally ask forgiveness for respecting and regarding that individual so highly. |
Buhari will go when his term is up, and not one minute before unless he falls down dead, which I hope does not happen. |
Long live Nigeria!
|
Arda1000:Please migrate. There are many countrys that would welcome someone so 'smart' as you. Please mind our door does not hit your backside as you depart, and the best of luck to you. For those of you who stay. Please be the change we all would want to see.
|
Tdotbluejays1:Please know that I have it on very good authority that if buda insults anyone buda will burn in the hottest region of hell for ignorantly and stupidly disrespecting buda! As for those who may insult buda, they know not what they do. And buda has no choice but to forgive them 7 times 70 times plus some by which time they often repent and desist. |
benalvino2:If I were President I'd tactfully choose better words. benalvino2:I never mentioned Igbos. He could as well be talking of boko haram and iswap too, along with the 12 June protesting youths and robbers and kidnappers. benalvino2:And what would their reason be? Overloading their network, perhaps? Examples please, for we both know buda does not do believe! |
raumdeuter:Both sides have at times been the first to throw insults, but the fact that some decide to dwell in the gutter is no reason to join them and soil oneself unless one is competing to see who can stink the most. Besides, defeating them with your super intellect is by far so much more fun and pains the pigs much more, and you wouldn't be dirty nor stink like a smelly pig.
|
benalvino2:Its twitters rules, not buda's rules. They said buhari broke their rules, and they took action and deleted it, so perhaps write to twitter to ask them or appeal on Buhari's behalf, instead of asking buda! benalvino2:I do not agree with the language and find everything wrong with it. A President, in my own opinion, should not threaten its citizens. You do not have to agree with me and are very free to have an opposing opinion, which I can respect and at the same time disagree with because it shows you can use your own mind, which I highly regard and respect. |
FarahAideed:You should post the accounts to show how much "he" is paid. |
Arda1000:I already know that nothing will change in this country until we - you, me, and the millions of other Nigerians decide to change in our own hearts, which is why I am asking you to be responsible instead of destroying Nigeria and then complaining about the Nigeria you yourself are destroying! Good thing is in destroying Nigeria we only destroy ourselves and will, or rather, are reaping the fruits of our own destruction, and when we decide to no more reap the fruits of destruction we will change the seeds that we sow. budaatum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yv5xonFSC4c

benalvino2:Note that you have still not provided evidence of Twitter in its own right supporting and sponsoring protests in Nigeria apart from by Jack Dorsey! If Seun posts about a protest in support and donation, then his platform (Nairaland) has elevated because he is the CEO of Nairaland just as Jack Dorsey did for twitter, so saying "Seun is not Nairaland" is contradictory and oxymoronic, since you are claiming Jack Dorsey is twitter. |
EnlightenedUFO:Please note that we are close to Sunday and should be preparing to not call each other names. If we start now we may do much better than last Sunday. Joining us is a choice and not by compulsion but we hope to increase in membership and will delightfully have you join us. Thank you immensely for your sacrifice and you are most welcome in advance. |
|
benalvino2:I hope you see the contradiction in the above. "Seun is not Nairaland" but Jack Dorsey is Twitter! I'm sure one of them is bound to disagree. Meanwhile I found the following. I do not agree with the verdict since for me Seun will be seen as Nairaland as some would see Jack as Twitter.
|
benalvino2:First, provide evidence for "he helped fund the protest" please because I'm not aware he did, and we have agreed that buda does not do believe. That said, Jack the CEO of Twitter could equally argue that he is not Twitter just as Seun is not Nairaland, but I'm sure if Seun made favourable comments about a post of mine, I'm sure we would not argue much that Nairaland supports my view, just as you seem to be saying the opposite that Jack the CEO of Twitter is Twitter! On that basis, I agree that Jack the CEO of Twitter supported the destroyers of Nigeria just by tweeting favourably about it, and was wrong to do so, though I can just about hear him claim he was talking in his personal capacity, as if we should care about the distinction. benalvino2:It obviously must have broken twitter rules or they wouldn't have removed. Don't forget the evidence for, "he helped fund the protest", please, so I can condemn him vehemently. |
Arda1000:I never ever wait for miracles to happen. I get off my ass and make my own miracles happen by expending the sweat of my brow. And I am currently educating you and so many others so that Tinubu does not get his filthy hands on the coffers of my nation! You may read here the miracle of my daily bread, and just so you know crooked bullion van Tinubu is my clansman to whom I say, Tufia! Over my dead body! Though I might have issues to reconsider if the alternative is Atiku!
|
benalvino2:No I do not have a misconception of what sponsor is! By your definition seun is sponsoring my comments here when the truth is he merely facilitates my ability to comment here, and has not got a clue what I'm saying (only because I am too unimportant to be on his radar of course!). Buhari was talking to the youths who are agitating for the dissolution of Nigeria, and who those specifically I are would let you determine all by yourself, but what he said was a threat that is not very wise of him.
|
Arda1000:No, protesters are not the backbone of Nigeria! The backbone of Nigeria are those who are silently using the brain in their heads and their God given minds to make Nigeria the great nation it will one day become. And we are way far more than 5%, just that you destroyers of Nigeria make so much more noise with the empty barrels of nonsense in your heads while we Nigerians silently diligently work towards progress! You Nigerian destroyers shall surely fail because Nigeria will continue to exist throughout your own lifetime!

Damn this is funny! Where please are the parents of the children in that school? Don't they love their children enough to have stormed to the school to protect their children? In Abia State o! And not in Sambisa Forest!! Abeg see am for map o! And it's not like the cattle teleported into the school o! People in the community must have seen them coming but no one said or did anything, teacher is recording video instead of calling the parents and the community for help! Is it because the two horns on the cattle gives Fulani two heads so people must to fear Fulani instead of running to protect their pickin? I beg you, if na your pickin de that school, would you be blaming Fulani and cattle or would you not remove your pickin from this school that seems to be incapable of calling you to come and help protect your pickin from cattle!? Hear bubu tell you how irresponsible! To the extreme, is all I see!
