Does a fables...they are stories just like jungle book or Aladin...watch them and learn the message in the story..

Snake symbolises or means "to charm" or beguile...

Donkey in the Balaam story. Donkey is a beast of burden. You have to read the whole story to know.

Jonah story is about God will coming to pass, nothing can stop it. No matter how man may have strong head..
So! You can learn from fables about donkeys and snakes and yet claim fables is prophecy that will come to pass but you can not learn from the fables of Jesus Christ and you want us to be convinced you are using your brain?

Try really hard son. Your fable may come to pass if your strong head tries really hard.

I think you should have answered the question:

What happens if she (Christian wife) dies after giving birth to three children for her husband?. What is the probability that the children will know God. ?

Is this an impossible situation?
You fail to see that that her atheist husband knows God more than you do!

I think we humans, both atheists and theists, "use pseudo-intellectual argument to back ourselves up"
This statement cannot be true. If it were true, then we can't have TRUTH. Truth exist because it pass logical tests. And using pseudo intellectual arguments connotes trying to sound 'technical' and logical whereas, the arguments are logically flawed.
Below is an example of two individuals who's truths have, in their eyes, and according to Christ they both would claim, passed logical tests.

Since on this issue, the conversation is going cyclic, we better end it. I won't shift, neither will you.

Michael Ogbeidi, professor and head of department of History and Strategic Studies, University of Lagos, who has researched and written extensively on political leadership and corruption in Nigeria since 1960, said he rejected the American assessment.

“America should put its house in order first and stop acting as the most honest nation in the world,” Mr. Ogbeidi said.

He said Mr. Reinhardt spoke “un-ambassadorially”, and suggested the Americans may have been unhappy with Mr. Murtala because of his tough stance against “corrupt” American companies that violated Nigerian laws.

“I completely disagree with that assessment because no country houses corrupt business entities like the USA; and this is evidenced in the collapse of the country’s housing, mortgage and auto sectors,” he said.

The white man via the CIA assassinated Gen Murtala Muhammed who would have exploited all the resources of Nigeria and built genuine industries, including marble, which would have made the importation of same unnecessary.
You should really provide some evidence for such claims or expect to be told you talk crap.

Destabilisation Campaign

When Muritala Mohammed was killed on 13 February 1976, suspicions were widespread that the CIA had a hand in assassination. This much is reflected in a secret report prepared by the U.S. Information Agency, the propaganda office that oversees VOA broadcasts and U.S. Information Service (USIS) installations around the world. The USIS 1976 Country Plan for Nigeria, declassified only five years ago, acknowledged that the political climate in Nigeria following Mohammed's assassination had been one of "uncertainty, distrust and suspicion." It further advised, "Charges of U.S. (CIA) backing for the attempted coup were prevalent [and] the Chancery and all USIS posts were physically attacked." https://www.dawodu.com/cia1.htm

Easy. Though, in truth, my primary education stopped at five. You had to do common entrance to advance in my day, and by reading and learning and passing exams, I jumped from primary five to form one and so never had to spend the extra year doing six.

I use to think you have sense, i guess i thought wrong..

In one mouth you talk about love and living in peace. And i said, the laws where meant for that purpose and also for us to have a meaningful and healthy life experience ...

In another breath you are talking about drinking blood and eating human flesh..

How do you reconcile paganism and following simple laws..

Nobody sent us to do that...
And I repeat:

This statement cannot be true. If it were true, then we can't have TRUTH. Truth exist because it pass logical tests. And using pseudo intellectual arguments connotes trying to sound 'technical' and logical whereas, the arguments are logically flawed.
The problem arises when we claim that what we have and know is the truth and then use pseudo intellectual arguments to convince ourselves of its truthfulness instead of becoming like children and abandoning all our brainwashing to look at things anew.

As for this particular individual, we have history, and his laziness in thought is very apparent, so I do not need to have gone through your argument with him to know his is flawed. He waves his hand in dismissal at what is above his intellect.

keppler:
just that we always see the pseudo in other people's arguments and only see intellectual in our own,
Again, this is not true. We have the ability to objectively critique our arguments. This is why people abandon previously held beliefs.
We may have the "ability to objectively critique our argument", but I'm certain you are aware how easily our subjectivity gets in the way of our development of the "ability to objectively critique our argument". You would not, for instance, claim the individual in question has developed the "ability to objectively critique our argument", or would you?

And if you have been here long enough you'd find that believers actually find it very very difficult, and often impossible to change their beliefs, especially because their subjective beliefs are the truth.

keppler:
And good arguments should be checked by the presenter first objectively so as not to be a laughing stock.
And for this very reason I trust and believe you will objectively check your understanding of all I have written instead believing your current understanding is objective.

keppler:
which is the reason you should not so easily wave your hand in dismissal, because you never know what you might learn from your own words
Now you accuse me of dismissing what?
I'd be less harsh and say I made an observation instead of accuse you. That said, the person in question is very easily dismissed simply due to the lack of effort on his part that makes him present pseudo lazy claims as intellectual arguments. I just hoped you would further engage with him so his pseudoness was more revealed so he may see them.

keppler:
Secondly, what am I to learn from my own words?
Who knows what further nuggets of wisdom may come out of keppler? I sure do not know, and I pressume you might amaze yourself too.

keppler:
Finally, you seem not to point out my (allege) error but have been implying such. Can you show me exactly what you are trying to point out?
Perhaps after I point out the forest in my own eyes I may find the time for the twigs in your eye, buy you'd hopefully understand how busy I might be if I seem to not bother with your twigs.

P.s. You can not come on here with a name like your's and not expect to be highly regarded by some.

I don't know why he thinks the Mosaic laws are special.
He thinks the Mosaic laws are special because that is all he knows and believes. Even the omenani he mentions, he does not understand its philosophical evolution, as expressed also in Judaism by the emergence of Christ.

Sorry, but I have only one law:

Love one another! They that sayeth they are in the light and hateth another remaineth in darkness.

And you, my fellow human being, are my idols, because, "Inasmuch as I do good to those I see, the Gods you see not should be pleased".

The Gods that are not pleased should be murdered so you humans stop worshipping them through your hatred for one another.

Monogamy:
Irony of the religious folks, they all believe their religion is the right way..

If you are not ready to change your mind about my believe/religion, do not expect me to change my mind/believe about your religion
To start with, a religion that requires you to believe is making you a sheepie and a slave. Eve did not believe Adam's ignorant crap about not eating the fruits of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. She used her own senses and tested for herself and found it good for gaining wisdom, and she did not surely die on the day that she ate, but her eyes opened and she and her husband became self employed and lived for a very very long 900 or so years.

So, learn to use your senses, is the teaching/religion of the first five books of Genesis, which I hope you will check for yourself to see if it is a good thing to learn.

Second. If your religion says love your neighbours and your enemies too, I do not think you should change your mind or religion because there is no greater law than "inasmuch as you do good to those you see, the Gods you see not will be pleased".

Exactly but the only other way would be to use the sword and it seems that is what some expect of Messaiah.
The only use of a sword that Christ would approve of is for you to cut off your offending hand or for you to pluck out your sinful eye.

Any other expectation is what people make up in their own heads.

So why is he relevant to us or to God?
Yes he did achieve a lot through his teachings, but you just have not bothered to learn so can't see the relevance and the simple fact that without Jesus the Torah would have remained the exclusive book of the chosen few Jews who would never have shared it with you.

By teaching you to be peaceful and to love one another.

There will be peace in the world when you have learnt what the messiah taught.

Gods laws is universal and divine. He gave it to all of humanity. The jews accepted it and wrote it down. And taught it to themselves. They called it the torah. The igbos also accepted it and called it the omenani....

So they became God chosen people..

Gods laws is the standard for measuring everything.
The Jews got it from Moses, who learnt it from his Egyptian foster parents who wrote it on stone.

The Torah is the result of a long process of editing (or redaction, as it is called by scholars). This means that there is no one date that one can be pointed to as the date of composition. Most scholars think that the final major redactions took place after 539 BCE when Cyrus the Great conquered the Neo-Babylonian Empire.

The books of the Christian Bible were arranged in the sequence one finds them in today to tell the story of the creation of the world by a supreme deity, the fall of man from paradise, and humanity's redemption by the Son of God but these books were not written in that sequence nor would the original authors of the Old Testament works have had that particular story in mind.

..the Hebrew Bible did not begin as a single book; rather, it developed over time through the compilation of many Judean texts. The texts, though, were not always understood as divinely inspired, authoritative, holy texts; the role of Judean texts in religious expression developed between the 6th century BCE and 1st century CE.
