30% of Nigerian fathers are unknowingly bringing up children who are not biologically theirs. As revealed in an interview with The Nation, a DNA expert revealed interesting findings from research carried out in 2012 which showed that 3 out of 10 Nigerian men are not the biological fathers of thier kids. This percentage is definitely on the increase due to an upsurge in sexual recklessness in our present day.



Imagine this scenario:

A lady is simultaneously dating 2 the same time. Mr A is wat society calls the eligible bachelor, tall, handsome and rich. Very rich infact. He is crazy about her but she doesn’t love him in the same way. Rather, she keeps him around for financial gains. Mr B is the one who owns her heart. He isn’t as stinkingly rich as Mr A but he is financially buoyant enough. She loves him so much but unfortunately he has no intentions of getting married anytime soon which is what prompted her to dating Mr A as a back-up option. She describes Mr B’s sex as (mind blowing) and they have sex without protection due to the spontaneity of it all. She hopes one day she gets pregnant for him and can use it to trap him into marriage.
Her wish finally comes true when she discovers she is pregnant. So she breaks the news to him. To her greatest surprise, Mr B tells her that he is aware of her philandering ways with Mr A and for that reason will not take responsibility for the pregnancy. Rejected and ashamed, she approaches her girlfriends for advice who indiscreetly advise her to take the pregnancy to Mr A with the explanation that maybe the condom had slipped up at some point during love making. Blinded by love, Mr A quickly proposed and much to her surprise, he asked to see her parents immediately for traditional rights so that she doesn't birth the child out of wedlock. The unfortunate man is completely oblivious to the fact that this lady had been seeing someone else and is possibly carrying another man’s child. He’s about to get cukold

The lady in question has decided to go ahead and marry him, taking her dirty secret with her till death comes knocking.

Ok, i have a cousin who is 27, the father is a big time millionaire, now, this my cousin has 4 other siblings who are all graduates, but he is an SSCE holder. Given that he was not too 'bright' academically, the father had him join the family business when he was 20, this guy speaks and writes English almost as good as the best, speaks fluent French, and has traveled to at least 10 countries outside Africa, and doing extremely well for himself, at 27.
I remember about 5 years ago when i was discussing this my cousin with a friend, and my friend told me that the best thing my cousin will do is to get an education first. And this got me thinking, at what level can we say that one is educated? what exactly is education? does it mean that without 'conventional education' that one will most likely be doomed? is it right to say that all university graduates are educated? is it also right to say that anybody without tertiary institution qualification is not educated?

my girlfriend utters some words (or should i say beliefs)that i sometimes wonder if she is will be a problem to me in the future
this are some of the words( i intend to marry her if things work out)

(1)she believes having sex with someone other than your partner is not cheating,it only becomes cheating if you fall out of love with your partner and fall in love with the new person,ie she means its just to satisfy sexual urge
(2)she told me of a friend of hers that got married to a guy and they didnt have an issue yet,she said the guy has always accused her friend of been barren so the friend got herself a boyfriend and got pregnant .but her friend has vowed never to let the husband know that he is not the true father of the child until the child is 21 or so.she says she is doing it as a punishment to the husband .
then i told her i will always find out the paternity of my child to know if ishe/he is my biological child,she sworn never to allow me to that and she supports the friend alot.
(3)she believes its ok to get sex workers into the house to stir up our love life when things are down(she means a male one for her and female one for her partner)crazy right?
(4)she has got a kid already and the child answers her surname instead of for the father,i asked her ans she says its HERS not his.
(5)she has got some ,should i say femminist characters.

I follow you and I find your comments stimulating most times. But this time I think you belong to the class of Nigerian men who resolve to bashing and putting down a person's self worth just to stroke the male ego. She may be wrong, she may have an inflated opinion of herself but how do you know? Like most men you too have an inflated opinion of yourself. What value can you add to a woman's life? It's really unfortunate you are surrounded by materialistic girls who are too lazy to hold their own and think they must depend on a man for survival. But do not use that to judge every woman you come across. Maybe it's time you changed your circle and hang out with the right set of people.

I am not surprised. There are women and there are women. You can never have a woman like Dora Akunyili or a woman like me. Yes, a woman like me. The type you can have are those with little or no education who clearly have no life of their own(no offense to uneducated peeps) and if perchance she is educated she must either be too unattractive or too old or has complex issues.


You need to reevaluate yourself. You are the one with the big problem not Nigerian women
