since i started schooling i laughed at people that did not speak well (i know its wrong, but we were young and unwise), but it is now a part of me, and i definitely wont date a girl that speaks badly.

I remember when i was with a girl whose english was not so good. I was driving, she was in the pass. seat and my freind (i grew up with him n we used to laugh at bad speakers) was in the back seat. He had not met the girl before that day, so they were not talking. The car was quiet as i drove, suddenly the girl's cell phone rang, as soon as she picked the call, my heart started beating fast, i couldnt concentrate on the road and almost hit another car, i was so scared that she would make a grammatical blunder on the phone. Luckily it was a brief conversation and it went fine. But i knew that there was a problem.

My advise is if u can stand it, go ahead. As for me, its not just because of freinds or anything. PERSONALLY I GET IRRITATED when a persons grammar is all over the place.

So if u can stand it, stay, but if u cant, then STEP. U deserve a guy that u can be proud of and happy with.

I actually have the same problem. I hate to admit it, but I have self esteem issues. It is killing me. Even though people tell me that I'm pretty, I fail to see it. Most times, I get scared that I might never find someone who would genuinely appreciate me. And I do get intimidated easily

Time heals. But most of us hate the process. I went down that line few months ago. For two weeks, I cried every night and couldn't focus at uni. After two weeks, the tears stopped. Anyway, I want you to know it is not wrong to grieve. It is a way of letting things out. Although, occasionally I still feel depressed and beat myself on what could have been. But most times, I try as much as possible to snap out of that mood by either praying, listening to music or sleeping. You will definitely heal, it might just take some time.
