[b]Another Nollywood movie actor, Tochi Uche Odobuta was arrested on Friday 23rd March, 2007 for attempt to smuggle about 1.336kg of Cocaine. Prince Uche was arrested by men of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at Muritala Mohammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos when he was about to board Virgin Atlantic Airways to London.

Nigeriafilms.com gathered that Prince Uche( 38 ) who hails from Imo State in recent times has been travelling frequently to London where his wife and kid are based.
In a related development Hafsanat Taiwo Akinwande aka Yetunde Wunmi who was arrested, arraigned and bailed with the sum of one million naira has floated a non-governmental organisation “which will educate people on the risk of drug trafficking…” Wunmi is expected release a movie entitled Ógun Oloro’ (Hard Drugs) to help re-orientate Nigeria youths on the abuse of drugs.

Observers from some quarters believe Nollywood actors may have been encouraged in the act of drug trafficking by the leniency Yetunde Wunmi got from the law court. Let us wait and see if Prince Uche will get any reprieve from the law court.
