czaratwork: Which crew? Have you ever seen Canadianfly roll with anyone on here? I'm not about that clique life my dear. What I am telling you is you are PARANOID. NO one is coming after you or shutting you down. Except you are reading something different from what everyone else is reading. And you must've misunderstood my post, I am not shutting you down. Matter of fact, I don't care for anyone's struggles on here. Yours and anyone else included. I only care for MY struggles. And that's the point I was making in my post. DO YOU and forget about everybody else's struggle. Their struggle won't make yours harder or easier. Focus on you! And it is not by force for people to share their struggles either. Lamenting that you don't see much of that post, is your problem. Nairaland is not your manual to life. If you want a pity party of "strugglers in Canada" open a thread for it and y'all can post all your struggles on there. It's redundant that you keep coming back and saying people are coming for you, when the truth is no one really cares, at least I don't. 36 Likes 1 Share |

My candid advice to the newbies joining this thread and asking questions, please READ PAGE ZERO of this thread. Some come and say they've been reading, and yet ask questions that clearly shows the person just heard about Canada as a country. Page 370 to 373 is a bunch of newbies asking questions and fellow newbies responding incorrectly. A case of blind people leading each other. Please guys, you need to research this thing you want to get into well!!!! Asking question like how do I register and pay for IELTS is a sign that you don't even know what is ahead. Because you get instructions that are clear on how to pay, yet that task alone is still difficult. Research research research! Don't rely on anyone to answer your question as they may be unconsciously giving you wrong information. Good luck to y'all 24 Likes 1 Share |

czaratwork: You need to let this go. Nobody came for you, how you got that from Vcole's response to you is surprising. And to be honest all this story about not finding job and finding no, and holding on blah blah blah is PLAYED OUT. Except you're a complete JJC with no access to the Internet and zero acumen for research, how would one expect to land today and become manager of a company? It happens, yes but be realistic and pray. I have been reading the back and forth about job this job that. And I ask myself what sorta people are these that took time to submit application to become PR of a foreign land? Some of y'alls applications took 9 months before it was approved. Y'all didn't come posting and lamenting quotes from the bible, now na small thing like finding job is what we have spent 20 pages on. Yet y'all lived in Naija alllll this while with no power and fuel scarcity, una no go back and forth with yalls government about that. I believe that positivity gets one far. No need to write a post about it sounding like a pastor to convince people to believe. DO YOU! Everybody's struggle in life is different. Everybody's experience is different. Y'all need to grow up. If you are on this thread and actually need to read a post about someone's experience with job search and menial job blah blah blah to "connect" to the struggle, then you should have sat back down in Nigeria. **leaves the room** 44 Likes 1 Share |

kaypayman: I had the same wahala. I found out it was a NOC issue. Check that you used the right NOC, and you entered the correct hours PER WEEK not per day. Make sure the years for work experience are 3 years or more in total. Please DO NOT continue until those scores show up and it changes to Met. It clearly states that if at the time of completing your application, your score is different from the round of your invitation, decline. So make sure you have the score wey give you ITA and FSW shows Met. 8 Likes 3 Shares |

Guitarlife: And this your post right here is the reason why the Nigerian education system is appalling and begging for mercy. You correct someone's English, all of sudden you're branded ITK, arrogant and proud. I'm not even surprised, I didn't expect anything else. I've been called worse. Check history and get in line. It won't change who I am or how I post. Take your emotions out of it There's absolutely nothing wrong with Dictakor correcting the poster. But y'all Nigerians would rather gang up and call someone English master than actually take the correction. Dictator is not the one with a 6.0 in Writing neither am I. So whether the poster takes correction or not, makes no difference to me. Oh an ps: talking about opportunities I had, y'all probably think I be wan butty private school bred woman. On the contrary, I actually attended public schools. But I had a keen interest in reading and improving my English, and I love research. Doesn't make me better than anyone, just makes me someone who likes to acquire knowledge. And you know what they say, knowledge is power. Also you need to widen your understanding of success. Being the CEO of an oil company doesn't mean you are successful, well except you have poverty mentality. 2 Likes |

Guitarlife: Y'all are some sensitive bunch. Abeg leave DICKtator alone. Dude spoke the truth. That was an epic post hahahaha The truth is bitter, but most Nigerians write very poorly. Using the wrong spellings and words. Example of the common mistakes people make in their writing are: Choose vs. chose - folks don't know which one is present or past. I'm vs. Am - Nigerians love to write Am instead of I'm. That na epic fail Advise vs. Advice - one is a verb the other na noun. Asses vs. Access - well this one depends on your dialect and H factor-ness The list goes on. Truth is, once you miss the correct spellings and use of words at primary school level, good luck tryna gain it back in life. Also for those of una wey dey plan go back to school when you reach Canada, just know that North American education is highly dependent on writing papers. Them no be like Naija and Britain wey dey give exam every time. You can be asked to submit a paper every week in Canada, and if you dey write all these yeye words, na serious F you go dey get. There's no sorting lecturer or sleeping with professor either 6 Likes |

Eilenora: Pretty much everyone has said the same thing to you. Go and rewrite IELTS. Forget about provincial nomination. This is why: 1) do you have a spare $1500 to give Ontario to nominate you? And they could refuse your application meaning that 1500K na waste. 2) do you have a spare 6 months to chill and wait for Ontario to process your application or even find you eligible to send you NOI? In that time you could have written IELTS 9 times ( ) and jejely entered the pool and even have ITA 3) do you have an additional spare 6 months when you eventually get nominated and ITA on top of the other 6 months to wait for Federal to decide on your application? My dear, Biko go and pay the 68k or 75k for another IELTS. PNP is for people who don't have options to increase their score. You have options. Exhaust them! And please read page zero of this thread and the CIC website to fully understand this process coz it seems like you're winging it. 16 Likes 3 Shares |

Eilenora: You need to rewrite because your Listening in below 8. That is why you're getting 422. An 8 or higher will do wonders to that 422. Also the chances of having your Lostening mark changed is very low. |

Eilenora: The bolded words clearly shows writing no be your tool of trade. It should be "I'm" not Am.... Runs away On the real, the reason why folks fail writing is because there is writing and there is something called IELTS writing pattern. The markers are looking for that pattern in your writing. Not your big big English. Read IELTS Advantage tip on how to start writing and what to include, the use Jay of E2 Language on YouTube to complete the magic on your writing. 7 Likes 2 Shares |

Newmum0615: Worked for who? That ish didn't work for the person that posted it in her PPR story. She clearly wrote that she's not sure if that had any effect on her application being released. And I highly doubt it did. PM never read Trump mails finish, and other serious national security problems, it's to be attending to the emails of Nairaland members? Story for the gods. I just hope we have this same attitude towards failed institutions in our country. Like when NEPA no give you light, demand to send an email to Fashola or Buhari.
