My fellow nairalanders,
I am trying to access my credentials with WES
I have Bsc. Public Admin and Master in Public Admin (MPA)
Which would give me the maximum point.
Accessing only my highest degree (MPA)
Or accessing Bsc. and masters.

Do you bank with Access Bank? What is it with you and access, abi you're writing it as you're pronouncing it? Yoruba brethren? grin

Someone with MPA should know it's "assess". To answer you, read page 0 very well. Click the links on there to understand what you're doing. Assess only your MPA. That is your highest degree.

My work place as do most places pay salaries every two weeks (not bi monthly) so my first week was a pay week and on the Friday, I got paid but then I looked at the amount I was paid and did small maths and I felt it didn't add up, some small change was missing but I let it slide with the intention of waiting till I got my second pay check to see if the error would be rectified by then.
Two weeks later, my pay check comes and I open the payslip right in the office and behold the outcome was worse. I started wondering if the company had reduced my annual salary without telling me.
I was still one month into the job and I knew with my skills I could earn more so it was better to pathways with the company now than be cheated but I decided to wait for the 3rd pay check (5 weeks in)before going to speak with the MD. When the 3rd pay check finally arrived, I was certain I was being scammed and was going to talk with the MD the following Monday to get an explanation of what was going on. Luckily for me, I got to speak with someone that night who explained to me the difference between being paid bi weekly and bi monthly.

So I was spared the "embarrassment" of confronting the MD. A member of this group wasn't so lucky. He saw his pay check and went to HR.

Moral of the story, know if your wages are bi weekly or bi monthly before you "go an vex for oga at the top".

PS: For those in Ottawa, we need to pick a weekend that would be comfortable for everyone to meet in person and hang out.

Lol JJC behavior. It's allowed. Companies in Canada usually pay biweekly. Never heard of bi-monthly. And I doubt that exists. How do they want you to survive by paying you every two months?? You no go pay mortgage/rent?

Na your blood dey hot. All you're seeing is dollar signs not the work cheesy

Please I still can't find where you showed gratitude to God for making you get the desired score on a second trial. Am sure you're aware some people made more number of attempts.

Anyways, congratulations and glory be to God for your result.

You're assuming he worships God. What if he's a Sango and Amadioha Chief priest? And has already slaughtered goat and ram for the gods?

Congratulations to all that got desired scores in IELTS, and to all those that didn't, please don't give up. I know it sounds cliche but this race is really not the swift and there is no need to rush.

Everybody with their own timeline....for example, I wrote and cleared IELTS sometime in September last year at first try, was already in the pool in October, but age and just Bsc as my qualifications have left my CRS to low 400s. Many people have written multiple times after that and some have PPR already.

No PNP opportunity was forthcoming that time so I have to wait for that, now see how Ontario is doing kalo kalo with EOIs, in addition to that I also lose 5 points this month as I become a year older.

So please my brothers and sisters, take your application serious, do what you have to do to get the highest possible scores and submit a clean application void of errors and one corner tactics, no matter how long it takes. Canada is not running away

It will end in praise. Cheers!!

Na wa. Just wondering are you married? Or are you a Catholic priest? Coz your spouse can be the PA.

You guys should let the issue of generating ref no slide but come to think of it in a country like ours where NASU can go on for years holding some of us to ransom. If there is a way of getting the ref no from Wes b4 payment that should be an advantage to us, I can get that, put my school on their heels upfront, let them be the one to await wes confirmation rather than Wes sending for confirmation and no response.

You don't even get it. Wes will NOT even accept your transcript until payment is made. Meaning nothing will happen, not even verification request will be sent to your school. So you are in the same boat as someone paying with card. The only difference is you have a ref number.

Let's stop making a mountain out of a molehill... There is nothing illegitimate in what @Threemg has done.

As rightly mentioned by @Canadianfly, he only needs to present it as simple as it is rather than all these "PM me" things.

Please let's move on to another thing...

Thank you jare.

Chief calm down no one is bragging here, besides to what glory or what medal, Of course WES won't go on to evaluate ur documents without payments. I feel u r d one trying to feel like don, calm down to read what I wrote I was specific about REFERENCE NUMBER to be sent to school and not the evaluation to be done by WES, I tot we're here to help one another. Some people a just funny, It's well with u o.

Lol Oga, if you understood my post, I wrote evaluation will NOT be done in response to folks who thought it poosible or might think they could pull a fast one.

And yes, you're feeling like a don, see your posts bragging about doing the same magic with WES USA. If that's not feeling like a don, then what is it? You're making it look like there's some special secret to it by asking folks to pm you and betting money. It's not a secret. Choosing Western union generates reference number. Simple. That's all you could've written, instead of bragging about reference number.
Stop writing things and making it appear like others here no sabi.

Truth is, if people actually really read the thread, they'll see that previous folks have gone Western union route before. I mean that's how I figured your hacker story has holes. grin

Y'all are making Threemg feel like a don that beat the system. There's no genius to it. His special method na to choose Western Union instead of Credit card. And your ref number will generate but nothing happens on your WES account till you make that payment. Basically, you can run off with the ref number to your school but wWES will not accept that transcript until they receive your payment.

This one he's saying "PM me" like a WES insider abi hacker lol.

Dependants can travel alone BUT they cannot land before the primary applicant.

I suppose if he is in Canada, that means he would have 'landed' as soon as he receives COPR, you should be able to travel by yourself to meet him in Canada.

Wrong.

Ekinado, I answered you in the Living in Canada thread. Your husband has to go to a border to complete the process.
Travel / Re: Living In Canada/Life As A Canadian Immigrant by Canadianfly: 10:14am On Jan 31, 2018

he has to land first before you can. So he'll complete the landing process in Canada before your arrival. Inland applicants usually know how that works, I do not know where they do it.

He has to go to the nearest border to him, be it airport or land border with the U.S. Most people I know just drove to the closest border to the U.S and completed the process.

Ekinado, you can also ask him to meet you at the airport the day you land. And y'all can do it together.

Dear Vcole, were you already pregnant prior to the medicals and how far long were you...sorry if the question is too personal. I've heard that when you do X-ray with the protective lead jacket, it's still not safe for someone in the first trimester. Don't know how true it is. Which of the hospitals did you use then. Thanks for the response.

If I recall Vcole's earlier posts, I believe she wasn't aware she was 8 weeks gone when she had her Medicals. And her baby was fine. Not that I'm advising you do the same and feign knowledge of your pregnancy. grin

Let's just say, Vcole had uncommon grace (in the words of Coza pastor grin)

Quick advise to the house,

If your score is not that great, I.e. below 440 and your spouse hasn't yet sat for IELTS, I'll recommend you encourage them to give IELTS a shot to improve your score. There are two benefits to this:

1) you stand to gain 20 points from them. Giving you a fighting chance for ITA.
2) saves you money in future when it's time to apply for citizenship as proof of English/French language test is one of the requirements for Canadian citizenship. Good thing is they'll even accept the results even if it has expired. As long as you get above CLB 4/4.5.

So in a way you are winning all round and saving for the future, who know...maybe the price for IELTS then will be $500 as against the N68K you can pay now grin

If you're single and your CRS is below 440 and you have maxed out IELTS, look in your neighborhood for a local MFM to join. grin

Just kidding....

hi CanadianEnginee,i'm on 431 and i want withdrew my first application, and create another.when asked if u hv applied before for express entry?what was ur response?yes or no
thank you

What does it say on the CIC website? Doesn't it say that creating an EE profile doesn't mean you have submitted an application for PR, until you are ITA'ed, paid the fees and submitted? If that's the case, what will be the answer to the question you're now asking? Take a wild guess wink

Ps: I'm assuming you meant to write profile not application @ the bolded. Na you dey confuse ya sef with the terms.

Good morning house. How do I process my IELTS? I went to the site and saw so many confusing codes, I intend using my Zenith account for the process. Also kindly provide a guide on how to raise a bank draft for me. Please help out a sister. I will be writing in Benin hopefully.

Hi there. Please take out time and read, then understand this whole process. The process of registering and paying for IELTS is very clear on the British council website. If you can't understand that one, how will one then understand the test they're taking to pass it?

Asking how you will raise a bank draft, visit the Cemetry titled Deceased Bank Drafts, then stand over any of the graves, then raise the bank draft from the dead. grin dunno why Nigerians use that term "raise bank draft" as if the bank draft died before.
Anyway, unless there's a bank named Nairaland...I don't know how anyone can guide you on that other than you going to your bank and asking them. My point is do not rely heavily on this forum for every tiny wincy question you have. Do your own I research then ask questions that are peculiar to your case. You can't wing it, trust me. Calm down and all the best grin

You will get ITA with that 438. Just be patient and save your c$1500.

Btw,when exactly did you get the NOI ? Did you create another EE profile recently? If yes, when?

Mehn that 438 will take time oh. My advice to anyone in the 430s is to do anything to improve your score. Coz folks in the pool are constantly improving their scores with either better ielts or ECA. And with CIC sticking to 2750 ITAs with tie breaking rule and biweekly to three weeks draw, anything below 440 go hard or take grace. Beckycute1 accept the NOI if you can afford it and time is not a luxury.
