walosky:What a foolish, thoughtless, irresponsible and heartless remark. How is it that your likes are allowed to prowl around here, with such vicious and indecent remarks? How would you say such uncharitable words about someone who's league your own biological father cannot fit into? We are permitted to disagree on national issues, but we must not cross the lines with such reckless comments as yours. |
OP, please note these things quickly. 1. Your English is pathetic. A complete disgrace. 2. Your words make no meaning in anyway. 3. Thankfully, you said "no fool". Fortunately, the wise have not been bewitched, neither have they been led astray. Truthfully no fool can do anything about their present economic situation. That's why a fool is who he is...a fool. 4. Taking into account your words, one can safely call you a complete fool. The reason can be found in your own words. You said no fool can do anything about it. Fools cannot help themselves. They are blind followers. Fools are easily led to their own destruction. Fools cannot help themselves. Fools have watched rice move from 8,000 a bag from 2015 to 46,000 in 2022...seven years later. Fools have watched the exchange rate move from 196 in 2015 to 865, as of this morning. Fools are not able to do anything about it. 5. Those who are wise, have chosen to follow a decent course and establish a proper nation. The wise intend to vote in proper leaders who know how nation's work. The wise want leaders who can put proper structures in place for better development. |
PointZerom:Point of correction, please: 1. IBB did not build the third mainland bridge. It started under Murtala/Obasanjo, military government. IBB commissioned it. It started under the second national development plan. 2. The Metroline project initiated by LKJ, was cancelled by PMB in his military tenure as head of state. The cost then was put at N20 million, at the equivalent of $1 - N0.5. For every dollar you had fifty kobo. Na this baba scatter am. 3. Before Lagos Municipal Transport Company, there was Osinowo transport, with the popular Marcopolos buses. LMTS became LSTC (Lagos state transport company). Cheers |

LegendHero:Oga, just take a walk on the streets. Get into conversation with reasonable people, whether literates or illiterates. You'll notice the clear decision of the people not to vote for BAT. The simple reason is the fear of the activities of agberos. People believe that if BAT wins, agberos would simply start popping up at people's doors to ask to money. Already you can hear agberos and their threat of what to expect if Jagaban wins. The decision in the hearts of people transcends tribe and religion. Touting is the greatest negative affecting his candidacy. Above all, ensure to vote for credible people who can make the nation enjoyable. We need a leader who understands how nation's work. We need an accountable leader. We are tired of the hatred and I justices going on. |
Visit the immigration website or simply visit any office of the immigration around your state. If the officers process it for you, expect to spend much more. |
Kinddetective:Don't mind that fellow |
shortIGBOman:Na so. I know say your Anambra starts and ends Untop that your 2 x 6 bed. The day you venture out of Lagos, your life go better. People are talking about their unpleasant experiences and the threat to pubilc peace by Agberos and you are talking about a state that you have never visited all your life. Since you know that agberos earn 60% daily, why don't you join? |
That Omokri cloth no be barman or steward cloth? E too resemble barman or steward there. |
LP moving forward. |
sammirano:Chai, this is called suffering and smiling. You are given a miserable 30K and there you are singing the praise of your oppressor. When will you wake up? What a shame. |
AyeMoJuba:Small child still getting pocket money and fed by your parents. You do not even know what's happening around you. Anyway do you understand what it means to be sorrounded? Your worst nightmare has sorrounded you. You are the one who needs to wake up. |
NigeriaIsGreat:And you forget that your immediate family, kindred and community have been blindfolded and tied with chains of misery, because they choose owo mi da, over decent living. Very soon owo ewa ati bread Agege will prove very difficult for you all to get. |
NigeriaIsGreat:And you have arrogated your yourself the power of God to determine the winner of the election? Tinubu once said that while planning, he included the chances of failure. It shows that whatever happens, he will move on. Have you planned what you should do, if Tinubu fails? Why are you supporters of BAT so pained that he is mocked? Even BAT himself is the master of mockery. Where were you when he said people would labour till death? Or were you too young when APC supporters made mock coffins of GEJ with his name inscribed in them? Who troubled them? Tinubu still continues with his mockery of others and politicians call it part of politics. By the way, where is the hope of a Tinubu victory? Find time to study political arithmetics. The south is divided with Obi and Tinubu contesting. The north is divided with Atiku, Kwakwanso, Tinubu and Obi. Nigerians who do not live in their home states will vote for the favourite candidates, wherever they reside. Since tribalism now counts, that means okada riders, abokis (who are more prepared than you), will vote for Atiku and Kwakwanso in Lagos and the rest of the SW. Obi’s supporters will vote for him in the SW, SE and north. The same will go for BAT in the SE, north, etc. Or you erroneously think that money will buy the position? If money bought delegates, do you think it will buy all Nigerians? Maybe you are waiting for your share of Tinubu’s money at the polling booth. You cannot determine the winner. You can only wish. |
Hmmmmm |
Racoon:Buhari himself was a victim of his own destruction of Nigeria’s democracy in 1983, when he removed the Shehu Shagari government and suspended the constitution. Once he became the head of state, warehouses of business people were looted, in the name of middle men, by soldiers. They forcefully opened people’s warehouses and sold what they termed them as essential commodities. Soldiers sold at their own prices and largely pocketed money belonging to innocent citizens. He produced the infamous decree 4, that sent people into detention. Unfortunately he was removed from power by the same group of men that he joined forces with to truncate the then democracy. IBB detained him until 1988, even as there was an outcry. In those years of his detention, he suffered very painful losses and Nigerians were screaming for his release. He became suddenly a democrat, won the Presidency and chooses which court order to obey. Is it not the same APC government, with Tinubu as the national leader? What will ever change? The customs CG was summoned by the HOA and he refused to appear. He was practically pushed to get there. There are several such cases. What happened those those working under the so called executive, how much more the oga himself? Malami absolutely chooses which court order to obey. Once again Nigerians have the opportunity to amend their mistakes. We are to vote, not on the basis of ethnicity, but in the basis of integrity and readiness to deliver. We need a leader who can be trusted. We need a leader who can reshape our country. We need a leader who can restore trust and unity among the tribes and religious groups. We need a leader who can fix our economy and make our nation work. |
Arkam123:RIP English. Chai. Bros abeg na English my eye see so abi na your language? Kindly write in your local dialect for better understanding. English appears quite tasking to you. |
DanascoJunior1:Abi? You know say hardship and misery don master you well. Never mind, APC presently constructs a rail line across Katsina state to Niger. The train will be waiting to head your likes to Sahara desert, where you belong. |
Slynation:Who told you that? And by the way what do you mean by “in those days”? How old are you too? |
Urheadmaster:Born first to know what it is to have children. Thereafter you can know the difference between ugly and beauty. |
Unfortunately most of the youths on this forum seem too young and too inexperienced in the matters of politics and those who lead them. They seem to follow blindly and out of complete ignorance appear to support those who oppress them on the basis of tribalism. If you want this country to get better, you must take away first the veil of tribalism covering your face. You must not allow your oppressor continue to take charge of your life. For those who reside in Lagos, if you are thinking that Tinubu will win by a wide margin, you must be dreaming. Politics is arithmetic, but democracy is about the people. The greatest threat to Tinubu's ambition in Lagos are the agberos on the streets and the fear in the minds of the people about them. Get to Badagry road and experience first hand the menace of agberos. It is daylight robbery. Tinubu's victory will very likely unleash a new set of youths, who are out to force money from the hands of the citizens, irrespective of who they are. Ask the market man or woman and they will reveal to you their plans to vote against Tinubu. The new electoral act guarantees the power of the people to choose their leaders. If their votes are protected, then agberos and thugs will be out of business on election day. Cash may be used to induce voters, but the Osun experience may have become a national benchmark. With four major players vying for the position, the permutations may not be completely in favour of just one person. Our desire is to see an Obi Presidency, but if it fails, whoever of the rest wins must be accountable. He must take the country away from the backwardness, failure and misery they presently find themselves. |
OP, this Wike own come tire me. Anyhow adjustment, na as e be e remain. Obaseki must receive plastic surgery, otherwise, no remedy. Chai. You make us laugh well well. |
Like joke, like joke, he’ll be sent to jail by the same APC government that he supports. We must all insist on strong institutions, ensuring that politicians never abuse them. |
Correct . I equally wondered what the offence of Osinbanjo was. If Osinbanjo was chosen by APC, it would have long been game over for every other contestant. Unfortunately Moneybags or “deep pockets” have taken over. |
DeadCountry:Did you take notice of that too? He never is able to have decent discussions. His English is as disgraceful as his comments. |
Moh247:You even cannot write proper English. You are the joke “taking took far”. |
Throwback:They don’t think Nigerian youths are stupid. The reality is that a lot of Nigerian youths are not only stupid, but very lazy. When Buhari said that youths were lazy, what did you do? A few shouts here and there and still more support for him in 2019. He proved it correctly. If youths are not able to challenge the established status quo that has kept them in the chains and shackles of misery, hardship and sorrow, then they simply are stupid. APC has been in power for close to eight years. The reason for voting out PDP in 2015, was its assumed failure to make Nigeria better. Now the price of a bag of rice has gone from 8,000 to 46,000 in less than eight years. If you are not able to speak out and act against such miserable life, as inflicted by APC and PDP, then something definitely is wrong. When you think that the likes of Kenneth Okonkwo do not know what they say, then you have a problem. If you call Kenneth Okonkwo a baby lawyer, then you are clearly very stupid. You forget easily that he is older than Keyamo by age. became famous before Keyamo graduated from law school in 1992. If he does not have the experience, does he not have his common sense to apply? You youths must wake up and say enough is enough to the acts of wickedness perpetrated on you by the old men leaders that you have. |
