The military objectives from the beginning was;
1) Demilitarization of Ukraine,
2) De nazification of Ukraine,
3) Stopping Ukrainian NATO ascension.
In the course of negotiations for ceasefire which is ongoing, the following were the Russians demand;
1) A commitment to stop NATO ascension
2) Recognition of Crimea as part of Russia,
3) Recognition by Ukraine of the two new republics in Donbass.
4) Protection of the rights of Russian speakers(a language zelensky officially banned),
5) Denazification.

First, Without propaganda, every military installations, command/control, airfield, ammunition depot, fuel dump, air defenses, military aircraft of the Ukrainian military has been eliminated or rendered out of service.

Secondly, the notorious nazi Azov battalion has been technically eliminated from their strong hold of mauripol, the city is currently undergoing liberation and mop up.

Lastly, NATO ascension, even Ukraine has agreed to jettison the NATO ideology, the reason a ceasefire has not taken shape is because Russia still insists on the recognition of Crimea and the Donbass as new entities carved out of Ukraine.

Unless you just choose to live in denial, the 3 set objectives has been fully achieved. At no point was occupying Ukraine an agenda. Wether the war would continue to escalate or a deescalation would follow suit would depend on the nature of negotiations going forward and what Ukraine is willing to sacrifice. Like a WION analysis put forward, the media heroism will fade off, the reality of a decimated country would stare zelensky bare face. Infrastructures wise, it’s gone back decades. The US has gained, without putting boots on ground, it is sealing gas deals. Both Russia’s economy and western economies took a beating, the ruble has began a rebound, inflation is still killing Europe and America, and it’s not looking to stop anytime soon. Saudis refused to help stabilize oil prices. Europe currently paying ten times for the gas that drives their economy.

If from my post, you are unable to deduce this then I can't help you. The Nazis are majorly in Mariupol and they are being decimated with over 80% of the city liberated including all the administrative buildings. As for demilitarisation, the results are obvious if you are following the events independently.

When you invade (in this case another sovereign country), use military weapons, use military aircrafts, use armored tanks, use chemical weapons, threaten with thermonuclear, threaten other nations who interfere, destroy military equipments, communities and properties, shoot to kill and get shot at, does it remain an invasion in its true sense? Where is the falsehood when the Russians have lost so much on their side, just like the country “invaded”?

Many Russians see Nazism as something the Germans brought from the West, which resulted in the horrific mass murder of many Soviet citizens, Jewish and non-Jewish.

Mr. Putin has been using this tool for many years saying that anything that comes from the west is Nazi.

Ask yourself, where then are the Nazis in Ukraine or even Russia.

Have you asked why Russia is so determined in Mariupol? Afterall the language spoken there is Mariupol Greek. Where are the Nazis in Mariupol? None! Mariupol is very strategic to both countries in the war. Aside from the natural resources in Mariupol, Russia will secure a land corridor between Crimea and Donbas and Russia will control the whole of the coastline along the Sea of Azov and much of the Black Sea. In achieving this, Ukraine's maritime trade will be cut off. Please will you define this as an invasion or a complete war?

Now if you say that Mariupol is part of Putin’s “strategic objectives”, has he achieved it. Remember that the Ukrainians are fighting to the death to keep this very significant part of their territory.

Some people have been confused with the plethora of fake news being churned out by the West, and this has inhibited them from seeing the bigger picture.

The major goal of the operation at the first stage was to free the Donbass and recapture its territory, reestablish water supply to Crimea, destroy the military capability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and prevent the ability of the Ukrainians from creating a dirty bomb by seizing the Nuclear Power Plants. All of these have been achieved at least up to 90%.

The forces deployed North of Ukraine, in Kiev, Kharkov, Sumy and Chernigiv were used to tie down Ukrainian forces and prevent them from being able to provide reinforcements to the Donbass. Russian troops haven't assaulted those cities yet, they just surrounded them (or blocked them in Russian parlance). So news about Ukraine launching counter attacks on places that haven't been captured is just fake news for morale boosting.

The second phase based on how negotiations progress, will be to storm those cities mentioned above and seize it. Thus applying more pressure on Ukraine and it is forced to accede to Russia's terms.

Russia already controls two full regions of Ukraine, Zaporozhye and Kherson and this has made them to establish a land connection between Crimea, the Donbass and Russia itself.

Do you remember that In his DECLARATION OF WAR speech to the nation on February 24, Putin set out the objectives of his “special operation”. His objectives were to “strive for the demilitarisation and de-nazifification of Ukraine”. The Russian president spoke of creating “the necessary conditions … despite the presence of state borders, to strengthen us … as a whole”.

Please from your analysis, tell us how Putin has been able to achieve any of the two objectives set above. Kindly tell us, going by his over-estimation of his conventional capabilities, how he has been able to achieve any of his original objectives.
