How is it that the police “swung into action” after soldiers, who are better placed and equipped to arrest bandits wrongly arrested herdsmen instead of bandits?

We are greatly troubled in this country by certain persons in power in this country. It is no longer a secret that confirmed bandits and terrorists under the same title herdsmen have been arrested several times and released with “orders from above”. We clearly see that some are more Nigerian than others, even when it has been confirmed that they speak French and are from other countries.

The call for separation gets stronger when lies like this in the face of the truth is used to deceive citizens. We hope sincerely for a better country, but the truth at all times, irrespective of tribe and religion must be allowed to prevail.

Northern rulership will automatically be cut short because Nigerians are no longer in support of a northern candidate because of Buhari’s mal-administration.

Rotimi Amaechi seems to be the perfect candidate that will completely pull down Tinubu’s stronghold in APC and the northeast. In one of his visits to the northeast, he pulled one of the highest crowds any politician has commanded during a visit to the north which implies support for him.

Party politics all over the world is about permutations, power play, reading minds and moods, arithmetic and interests. In Nigeria, religion is included.

Take a look at the north. Do they appear ready to relinquish power, with all you see. They want to retain power, at least to have some form of semblance in this democratic dispensation.

If the above is the case, as we see, do you sincerely believe that the north would allow just any southerner hold on to power until 2031?

Ask yourself if in the spirit of equity and fairness, the SW has any moral justification to seek for the presidency, after 8 years with OBJ and 8 years of PYO as the VP.

He is one leg out of PDP anyway. He is the candidate that fits the northern permutation and interest in this political power play. Amaechi, PYO, El Rufai, etc are those who would make it have a semblance of a contest. Remember APC insisted on a consensus? He is GEJ. For him, GEJ will cover APC’s shortcomings in the SE, claim the SS and then the northerners secure the votes of the north for him.

It is very unbelievable when you find that people of your tribe actually perpetrate such evil of this nature. The Fulanis denied the fact that it was their people who went about killing and destroying. When they accepted, they tried and still keep trying to either cover up under different guises or outrightly deny the obvious fact. Soludo admitted that fact quickly.

If without doubt, as we know now, that South easterners from Ebonyi state have chosen to turn Anambra state upside down, leaving their own communities in Ebonyi in peace, why should the criminals among them not be mentioned? The public has a right to know what’s happening and the governor has a duty to the people, to state the facts as they are.

In case you don't understand; he will hand over to a new governor and become former governor. But the actual grace sharing begins after the primaries of the political parties which must hold and be completed within the next five months. Even before and after then, politicking takes over everything. Governance grinds to a total halt.


But I have been thinking and picking my teeth and wondering that, like play, like play, is this how Governor Ayade will just leave us?

These were just some of our governor's promises amongst others. Once the cameras roll in front of him, the promises begin to cascade like the springs of Obudu Ranch. He promised a bag full and has achieved little. Scattered all over our State today are monuments of infantile passion about industrialization without direction, that will serve as mementos of the trappings of a governor who knew how to talk but could not do.

Governor Ayade remains a shining and fantastic example of how passion alone and ideas do not translate to delivery. He is an epitome of a plan-less leader and a reflection of what a disaster plan-lessness and impulse leadership can wreck.

If you rely on optics and oratory, Ayade will win Nigeria's best governor any day. But the reality on the ground is not far from me. It is within my grasp, because I am involved.
