Na so. They build with public funds and position themselves privately to loot the returns. Does it mean that the railway corporation cannot assign competent staff to organize e-ticketing? In this age of technology. Why must government give out ticketing to private organizations after building with public funds? A very close look will prove how such companies are owned by these ogas with fronts who manage for them. |
otipoju:How was it his wife’s problem? Do not blame any woman about this. Self discipline helps and can preserve you. It is a very unfortunate situation. |
Greedy and dirty pig |
Like “bob, where I show so?” If na Nigeria, that na direct witchcraft attack. Na to bombard the animal with prayer. But wait o why this lizard no appear for Ajegunle, Agege or Okoko? |
![]() Enoch3721: |
“According to him, Tinubu will surely succeed President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that the All Progressives Congress, APC’s national leader is the best candidate from the party come 2023”. How did he use the word “surely” when he is not God? This fellow must know that tomorrow belongs toGod only. Many presidential candidates came up before OBJ handpicked an unknown GEJ from nowhere and made him the next in 2007. Hopefully this man controls his tongue now to avoid a painful cry if Chief Tinubu loses. |
Enoch3721:Bros all these you “I thought, I thought”, why you come thought fat like that? |
Starboytwo:What a little boy you are. |
Mariangeles:I believed he was economical with the truth. I thought along the same line with you. If he wanted, he could have reached her through mutual friends. He knew that the fault was from his end. If he valued that friendship, he could have gone the extra mile by visitation also to sort it out with her. He is a jagbajantis intete friend. |
Terrible. What is the role of the banks in all these? Are holders of these accounts invisible? Can the banks discreetly not find the owners of these accounts? Jagbajantis intete!. |
Why did he call himself baba go slow? Abi is that why things are like this in Nigeria? |
We saw the red flag in 2015 positioned by APC but we followed. Today every Nigerian sees clearly the result with serious pain and sorrow. |
He forgot that he mentioned to us that he is called “Baba go slow”. He got more votes than he expected. He got the platform that he struggled many years to secure. The party achieved political power by means of lies and deceit. The secured power and started blaming everyone including themselves. They made their bewitched followers believe them even in the face of bad governance and intolerance. Their supporters even intend to project another bad leader. After all these years, this is what we hear this from the baba. Na wah sef. There is something in names. How can someone call himself baba go slow and expect things to move fast? He had the opportunity. He had the goodwill. His people blindly followed him. Hopefully the man can have his needed rest next year, after all the years in service. Thankfully he now counts the months. Last month during the media chat he said 17 months. This month it is 16 months. Next month 15 months. By December e go remain very small. |
So now we can see how these governors claim billions of naira in security votes. We can see why many are ready to kill to become governors? So in eight years, the governors would have amassed over 100 billion from security votes. We must ask what is the role of the police and other security agencies. They are grossly underfunded while the governors get wealthier racking in billions of naira at the security risk of the citizens. Just imagine how much goes into the pockets of governors of the troubled parts of the north. Why would bandits and boko haram not keep on overrunning cities and villages when the amounts allotted as security votes finally end up in the pockets of governors? Why would governors not control parties when they actually are the richest by miles from security votes? How long will we keep hoping against hope as they say? Politicians have turned this nation upside down. How can we blame the military in other countries in west Africa when their politicians have made lives difficult for them to live? |
Kroenke and family, Edu and Arteta are out to ruin Arsenal as I perceive. I simply cannot understand this rubbish with Aubameyang. |
Please help us say this to APC: there is God o! |
As if their support changes anything. They started spreading sorrow around the nation when APC took over. Prior to 2015 they were just like any other union and they know that after they grand patron leaves, they will return to their former irrelevant position. All their struggles are to retain power in the nort for the sole purpose of inflicting terror on other ethnic nationalities and land grabbing. |
Why is he focused only on politics? He seems deeply interested in politics. Is this advice based on revelation? It will not be a bad idea if he contests for an office. Anyway PDP and APC face the same problem with zoning of the presidency. The two parties know that rightfully the position should be zoned to the south. The Primate needs to be told that there is no shortage of great persons in the entire south. How does he want to play to the gallery with his political advice, knowing fully that the north greedily lays claim to the presidency? |
Invictuse:Bow your face in shame if you cannot discuss meaningful matters like this. Take your shameless uneducated self away from here where reasonable people are talking about matters that will help our nation and states get better. Urchins like you who only appear here to abuse people should be shown the way out of platforms like this, so that decent people can talk decently. Who is talking racism here or abusing individuals? People like you should aspire to greater things and not such nonsensical comments as the one you just made. |

Chai. OP do not label a dog a bad name in order to hang it. Did you not read recently that incoming Gov Soludo asked the so called revenue collectors - who line their pockets with money daily under your present Gov Obiano - to keep having their field day until March 17th when he will be inaugurated? How does that not sound to you like revenue loss under your sanctimonious Obiano? Until he started to play to the gallery with the airport, please tell us the state of roads under Obiano. Is he not the same person accused of permanently residing in the USA with his wife, leaving the running of the state? Why not tell us how much was left in the reserve by Peter Obi for Obiano? Bros please leave Peter Obi alone. Aside from the short term of Ngige that opened the eyes of Anambra people to misgovernance, Peter Obi laid the foundation for a better Anambra state that you all enjoy today. He moved Anambra state to massive heights. Carry this your story park for one side. If this is designed to put a stain on his desire to run for presidency then you have failed. |
Nonsense talk. Under Uzodimma, in less than two years as governor, Imo a very peaceful state , has gone up in flames. Imo state was always known for plenty of enjoyment, peace and joy even before and with Okorocha as governor. People would travel at weekends from Lagos and everywhere to Owerri simply to enjoy themselves and return early to their bases to resume work on Monday mornings. All those have disappeared under this government. This is the worst that has led Imo state since inception. The aide and his oga should bow their faces in shame. Even the name Modestus sounds funny. What kind of name is that? How his parents gave him such ancient name in this modern period na wa. Dem for kuku add Evangelistus or Romanus put am. |
Na the Pastor dey tell am sorry so? If na the Pastor, to slap am with iron bender hand dey hungry me. |
Very terrible. Something indeed must be done before this becomes an epidemic. Rightly said, wealth is not questioned anymore. Some parents support their children with all the resources the need to get into crime. Such parents are always very quick to show off SUVs and properties purchased for them by their criminal children. Painfully like I have always maintained, this problem is not confined to the SW alone. It is an African problem where people want short cuts to wealth. We should begin to identify native doctors around us who made those demands from the vampire boys for wealth making. Those native doctors must be dealt with ruthlessly if found. Next we must have strong instructions and laws in place to deal with these matters. Even children of security men are guilty of these crimes. Above all once again we must not fail to say that our country faces a serious leadership problem. Our leaders are greedy and desperate to get power by all means. They do not care about the source of income of the sponsors. When they get power they do all they can to protect the criminals among their sponsors. |
Dem even allow the evil vampires use nose cover. |
ThatsONYI:You cannot scrap this age long Igbo apprenticeship system. It is unfortunate that some greedy ogas abuse the process and make it less attractive to youths who want to pass through it or parents who want to allow their children pass through it. It is a practice that has elevated many families from poverty. It is a practice that makes the Igbo society retain its beauty, pride and joy. You are introduced to real life at a very early age. It helps take the youths away from crime and checkmates immorality in the society among the youths. It teaches the youth how families are run at very early ages and how to manage themselves. I think your case is one of those unfortunate ones, but one must not use it as an excuse to scrap the system. |
I believe that people will force him to do the right thing. Also I believe that other people will give the boy money. It is a disgrace in the part of the oga. |
Luckysbab:Exactly. I also wondered why her face or identity would be covered considering the situation. Showing her face would enable help get to her more easily. |
Very annoying indeed. If it happened so, then the bank must ask questions of its staff. Unfortunately the staff will say they not see the card. Those in charge of the machine must be asked what happened to the card that the took out of the machine. It is very unfortunate that crooks and dubious people find jobs in banks. Many years ago in the banks, if you made a withdrawal and you did not count the cash at the counter, you would find that the bills had been tampered by the staff. They would take out money from the middle of the pack and an unsuspecting customer would be surprised that what was collected was not complete. Banks have to get these dubious staff and deal with them. |
JOemmy:It is not a cultural thing, but rather a function of laziness on the part of the youths, poor parenting and a society in very serious trouble. Now it is also a very big error to think that killing for ritual is a SW problem, just as many erroneously believe that drug is a problem of the SE. There may be a prevalence of these crimes in some areas, but those crimes are not confined to those regions only. If you look at it holistically you’ll see that the same crimes are committed nationwide. What everyone must do is to act against those crimes wherever and whenever they are committed. We must all rise up as one nation and say no to these incidences. Unfortunately too our security agents are complicit in these issues because of bribe taking. If only we have stronger security or stronger institutions, then our nation can be better. The politicians play the major part in this systematic destruction of our societies with their tribal and religious sentimental politics. They have succeeded in polluting the minds of the people and pitting people against each other. Politicians must also stop calling people that matter within the security to set their people free, who are arrested for such crimes. They help such people escape justice and society is the worse for it. Cheers. |
BKayy:What a very unfortunate response. What has one’s region got to do with what has become an epidemic and a grave alert danger across the nation as a whole. If you youths on Nairaland have nothing to say except display your tribalistic myopia, why not simply shut up. Who says killing for ritual is only confined to the Southwest? Or do you think other forms of crime are confined just to a particular region of the nation? Shame on all of you tribalistic youths. |
