advanceDNA:That’s it! |
Entprys:May I respectfully ask if there is a difference in the Islam practiced in the north and the south of this country? You call it “ordinary hijab” and yet you ask that the school should be closed. What makes it “ordinary” anymore if the Muslims are causing trouble over it? I ask because I find more religious tolerance in the south than in the north. And there is complete peace. Talk with sense. Churches and Christians are the first targets for killings in the north. Be reasonable and tell yourself the truth. Can Christian students in the north attend Islamic schools with their heads open? Or even with berets that only cover a portion of their heads. Can Christians riot in a Muslim school over rules? Clearly we see BAPTIST HIGH SCHOOL with a cross at the top. It is a Christian school. If you as a Moslem choose to send your child there, be prepared to abide by their rules. Apparently Muslim parents want to take advantage of the religious inclination of the governor to stir up crisis’. Some have said that the school is a state sponsored one. It still does not remove the fact that it is a Christian school. If you are not pleased, simply withdraw your child and send to an Islamic one. |
Dem don kill and tay tay for Kano. |
Quantumheight:Short and simple. That’s exactly what it is and the way it works. Prayer in the sense of the bank official is for the other person to respond favourably. The bank will not go and arrest him because of that and the bank will not release his address/phone number to you. What if the person never touches that account, or is outside the country, or is sick? Go and pray abeg! |
danngnews:“the difference between Wednesday night and Thursday morning”? That’s 12 hours or nearly by calculations. Within those twelve hours many damages could be done. If he had issues with his flight, he could speedily have informed his manager. Do not support illegality. That’s the challenge we have in our country where everyone cuts corners. The man was the team captain. He had committed disciplinary breaches on two previous occasions. A captain is a person who must lead by example. He should be at the training ground before others. His conduct within and outside the club is scrutinized. His words and actions are weighed by fans. He always had that reckless behavior. He was tolerated because he was highly rated and he was made the captain. Would he have tried that once with Mourinho or Guardiola and escaped. Managers have the responsibility to protect their teams and get the best out of them. The truth is that Aubameyang failed. He was permitted to return on Wednesday and the club made provisions for that. He failed, did not bother to inform his manager and then returned to training at his own time on Thursday. Bros, no be Aubameyang get Arsenal football club. He was paid 350k weekly and there was a huge responsibility on his shoulders. The goals that he was paid to score, he was not scoring. He who pays the piper dictates the tune. The club had the right to discipline him if he breached the agreement. Did you hear him shouting when he was removed as captain? Na that money wey dem dey pay am e dey take charter flight go see im mama despite say im papa na rich man. All these disciplinary issues are clearly stated in the contractual agreements between clubs and players. He failed on different occasions. If you go market buy product wey you no like, you no go return am? |
But they have already carved out their own country around lake Chad. They collect taxes and enjoy themselves there. All the “technically defeated” we heard in 2015, as we can all now see, na mouth. They were technically empowered when they heard encouraging words like “a fight against boko haram is a fight against the north”. They were encouraged when the mercenaries hired by GEJ to root them out were succeeding, but sent away by our oga on assumption of power in 2015. Dasuki stole funds budgeted for the military before 2015 and 7 years later, the military under APC remains under funded. Even the funds released, we hear daily get looted. Our oga promised to be in the fore front of the war against boko haram, but herdsmen added to it and he could do nothing in 7 years. We hear how northern leaders benefit financially from this wickedness and how there are many sponsors. How then do you expect it to end? If this baba acted according to his promise before 2015, this menace would have long disappeared. |
Abeg make una look that picture well. Maybe I no see well. Abeg na that bros be 18 years old? Abi dem mistake the picture of another person? “The 18-year-old was the joint-Top scorer in the 2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)”. Abeg how can I believe that an 18 year old person was joint top scorer? Na so Nigerian league bad reach? Where in the world una hear say 18 year old na top scorer, even Messi and penalty box Ronaldo when dem dey 18 years old. |
Make I hear something. Even though I am not happy with Arteta and Edu, Aubameyang played a greater role in his forced transfer. He had the same discipline issues with Dortmund when Wenger brought him over. Arteta was his manager who extended his contract and gave him 350k pounds weekly after that great season. The next he dropped his quality. The club managed with him, understanding what happens to players when they are out of form. They made him captain and then he started his irresponsibility. Make e go continue like that for Barcelona. My pain with Arteta and Edu is that no replacements were brought in. If dem leave Arteta and Edu like this na 8 - 10th position we go dey see. Those two MUST go too. Make Arteta go dey manage Derby county or Shrewsbury take learn work well. |
Tell us something better please. “By Femi Bolaji JALINGO— Deputy Senate Minority Leader, representing Taraba South on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Emmanuel Bwacha, has said All Progressives Congress, APC, is only comforting itself by saying the mass defection of its members in the National Assembly will not affect APC’s chances in the 2019 general elections. Bwacha Bwacha, who spoke in Jalingo while fielding questions from journalists, explained that the recent development was a process of transformation, that was gradually altering the power of cohesion in both chambers. He said: “In 2014, when members of PDP moved to APC, we said they are inconsequential, downgrading the leaders who are actually powerful individuals in their respective places. “These leaving APC are leaders elected by people in their various places and cannot be written off. They (APC) are only saying this to comfort themselves, so others will not be demoralised.” Bwacha said he has been receiving congratulatory messages from people addressing him as Deputy Majority Leader. Read more at: https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/07/apc-comforting-itself-over-mass-defection-bwacha/“ Darius Ishaku will be retiring to the senate which is common with the governors. He is from the same senatorial zone and Taraba is a PDP state. Bwachu does not have the popularity to defeat Ishaku and he did the next thing, defect. His reason yesterday was very childish and completely laughable…Buhari built a bridge which had been left for many years. Hopefully Bwacha is comforting himself now after the above comment made in 2018. |
OlawaleBammie:Yes. Therein lie all the issues of life. |
Was that a fake doctor? Many of them prowl around everywhere. Someone has to take up this case and follow it up to the logical conclusion. |
Indispensable85:Keyamo in Delta? How? Where? Who know am? |

Oduduwa707:So as owu dey hold you so, why you wan make yourself economic adviser to rich man? Bring your head make I konk am for you. |
Dem tie im two hands for back like thief? That will let him know that the law is no respecter of persons. |
chatinent:Because they believe that once you inform you, then you are on the way to become the president. All of them must pack dem load comot for 2023. If you love yourself say NO to “next level” of hardship and suffering in the land. As change no work and next level no work, nothing fit work for dem side again. |
Kriss216:But he did not condemn the organization. He only recommended that they should be absorbed into the police force. And by the way, some other organizations too should be absorbed into the police force. Make I no mention their names here abeg. |
“ When reminded that Yari was instrumental to the formation of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party ANPP, one of the legacy parties which led to the formation of the APC, Jaji queried: “Who built the ANPP? How did he build APC? Who is he to build APC? APC is a party and a platform. But before the emergence of APC, there was ANPP. Did Yari build the ANPP?” So you can see that the only reason APC was formed was to make it a platform to grab power. We can see now why this country is in this mess. Anyway that platform go scatter before 2023. Ordinary convention dem no fit agree. No one wants to lose his position or sacrifice. No one wants to be defeated. I predict that they will revert to their political affiliations of 2014 with what is happening presently. |
And it must not go to the north, irrespective of what Lamido and Atiku think. The Southern political leaders must not capitulate to this nonsense blackmail by northern politicians who tell us of their greater population and landmass. With what we have seen with PMB in the last seven years, another eight years of northern ruler ship may be catastrophic. |
yanabasee:Note just imprisonment, but death sentence just like we find in China for stealing public funds. They will never do that. At least such a law will make them in the National Assembly seat up, just like other arms of government. The greedy people want to make laws that will protect their looted money in the banks! |
Na wah. Hopefully the intruding alfa gets his own share of the beating at the police station. |
Mozino007:They have been returned to the underworld then. |
PrinceOfLagos:If you only got to know her “in this season of election and electioneering” then you are a very young person and born in the nineties. In the early eighties Ms Jennifer Iwenjiora, as she was then known, was a very popular news reporter with the NTA. Abubakar Atiku was totally unknown as he was then with the customs service. She relocated to the USA where she got the citizenship and largely was out of the scene until she remarried to Abubakar Atiku as his fourth wife, after her divorce from her first husband in the USA. In marrying her, Abubakar Atiku added to his family a very sophisticated woman and a doctorate degree holder. Alhaji Atiku has up till now been able to manage his wives and there did not seem to be any division among them. I am of the opinion - even though we have not heard from Atiku - that the matter was poorly managed by him. I sincerely hope that now that they have commenced divorce proceedings, that they can all let sleeping dogs to lie. |
Abbeggii . Wetin pain me pass for this APC matter be say lie no dey tire dem. They can lie for themselves, family, children, wife, husband, friends, party members, foreigners, business partners, etc. Dem dey lie give devil sef. If you no sabi lie, you no fit join them. This story wey this baba take campaign before 2015?come fail untop, e still dey take am lie give people hope. Anyway na dem supporters I dey sorry for Look all their supporters, dem neck don be like tolotolo neck because of owu. |
Golan007:Energy drink so that he go replace lost energy. He needed to feel it the way others he beat up felt it. |
Chai. How is it that ex governors always happily show us those who will take over from them. After a while they begin to disagree, first privately and when it gets out of hand, publicly. Finally in this case, as with others, we will hear the following: 1. We have arrived at a political settlement 2. We have agreed on a power sharing formula 3. We are one big family Nothing really changes in the end. The principal reason for grabbing political power in our country is corruption. Political godfathers need to be forced out of the political spaces to enable us have great professionals in politics who have the capacity to move this nation to greater heights. |
Hopefully coups do not start trending again in West Africa. Are the soldiers not getting what they should? |
Painfully this menace of NURTW is only experienced in Lagos and Oyo states. In Lagos it is without doubt that they got empowered in the days of BAT as the governor of Lagos state. For those who were old enough in the days of Buba Marwa as the governor of Lagos state, you will recall that he dealt so severely with them that bus stops became danger areas for them. On some occasions, they were shot dead right at the bus stops by soldiers. With them out of the way then, transport fares dropped and the roads were made safer by the then “operation sweep”. Unfortunately for Lagosians this menace seems endless. The Godfather remains. By him governors after him have been made. Members of the union are absolutely loyal to him. They are readily available to be used for dirty jobs during and after elections. If only the government of Lagos state can look at how this same union operates with decorum in other states. Buses take off at designated parks and the union gets its dues right inside the parks. You do not find union members making nuisances of themselves on every road. They have even taken over, in some areas, the duties of police traffic officers in Lagos. Sincerely I do not think that Sanwo Olu can do anything about it. He may be taking on his political godfather directly. Again, we hear that the union “settles” everyone in power. If therefore they receive gratifications from the NURTW in Lagos, how then can the political will be summoned to ban them? Lagos state government must follow up with the plan of Gov Ambode to phase out these yellow buses and make transportation like that of other big cities. Government should get more buses on the road and make it affordable. In Lagos, just like Gov Ambode planned, they can partner with NURTW allowing members to own buses and be better controlled. |
Racoon:You nailed it on the head. When our baba said that with more support he could have done better, it became very clear that baba himself did not know what he had been been for seven years. They ask us to pray for our country. They ask us to support our country. They take loans and under several guises, they loot and make life harder. How did we ever not see clearly before 2015 and avoid this calamitous situation that we have found ourselves enmeshed in? |
Who finally fooled who? “The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, yesterday tore into shreds, a federal government initiative, which supported reabsorbing criminals dubbed ‘repentant bandits and terrorists’ into the system, saying his government did not believe there was any phenomenon so identified”. He set it off with the billions released to the so called Fulani herdsmen who were imported to cause crisis in the country after the 2015 election. He justified it because they are his people. Little did he know that his own people would turn around to make governance difficult for him with their wickedness. Again one wonders why the federal government has thought it right to grant amnesty to bandits and terrorists. If they are trying to copy what GEJ did with Niger Delta, then I think there is no basis to compare. These bandits in the north cannot tell us that there environment was degraded or taken over by the federal government. That simply are soldiers of fortune, who equipped themselves with firearms to kill, kidnap and destroy the country for the sole purpose of money making. How this government repeatedly uses the word “repentant” is mind boggling. How have they ever repented? Vampires who having not received the sums they get from kidnapping and killing and go back into the forests to continue the evil jobs. It is funny how this government talks about reabsorbing criminals who have taken over large swathes of lands in the north as their territories and forming governments of their own, collecting taxes from the people. Inspite of my disagreement with El Rufai and his wrong approach earlier, I agree absolutely with his comment and hope that this government stops giving these evil people the necessary tools they need to carry on the acts. |
Does have have many wives? How did he bring them up? Has he been mean to his children? Does he care about them? Was this king bad to his father? Did he offend someone who then made a negative pronouncement on his children? Now that he has chosen to wash his dirty linen in the public, what is he set to achieve? As you make your bed, so you shall lie on it. |
