very funny tel conversation between two suspected nigerian 419 scammers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gd8CkVOETh4&feature=related |
ShangoThor:please explain |
I think its high time that the EFCC is disbanded because it is basically nothing more than a front for the criminal cabal who run nigeria, it has absolutely no credibility and is an insult to the intelligence of every sane nigerian. It beggars beleif that the only time Ibori was in danger of loosing his stolen money was when he tried to launder it in europe - i think it should now be clear to all nigerians that PDP is a criminal organisation run for and by criminals, an organisation in which all its members are above the law. As long as this criminal cabal continue to run nigeria theere will be no hope. |
T9ksy:can you tell me what part of nigeria's history he has revised please? |
I really enjoyed listening to this interview, very informative analysis by Dr Madu and the presenter. |
Nigerians are not in a postion to be racist as racism is about power that you have over others, in other words to be racist you have to be able to have some sort of control over the lives of people of other races. Black people do not have that power and nigerians definitely do not have that power, dont confuse prejudice ie dislike of people of an other race with racism - racism is prejudice backed up with the power to do something which has a negative effect on someone of another race ie denying them access to employment, housing, medical care, education etc. No black people as a collective group have the power to do this - whites on the other hand do and thats why THEY are racist whereas blacks are merely prejudiced towards other races. |
Amhatu:Amhatu Ive been following the situation in Egypt but im a bit confused over a few things, what i dont understand is this: why is america backing the overthrow and removal of their own puppet who they have been funding and supporting for the past 30 years? if Mubarak is forced to resign - who will replace him? This Mohammed El Baradei of International atomic agency sounds like his likely successor but from what i hear he is another US puppet. Commentators are saying that the US are playing for time and want Mubarak to hang on until September by that time they will know for sure who is the most suitable candidate to succeed him. The thinking is also that the US will have the final say on who eventually leads Egypt and that the Egyptians need to focus not only on getting rid of Mubarak but also on brreaking America's stranglehold over Egypt - The same commentators say that if the Egyptian people do not stop the US from choosing Mubaraks's successor they will be back to the same position only this time with a different dictator . What do you think? |
^^^^^^ when are these clowns going to stop mimicking african americans? so pathetic |
Kwame Nkrumah Sekou Toure of Guinea Nelson Mandela Robert Mugabe Joshua Nkomo |
Nigeria has a lot to learn from the egyptian uprising - first of all the egyptians have been able to overcome religious differences and unite under one banner to oust a western puppet who has been terrorising his people for the past 30years. I am so impressed with the courage, tenacity and sheer determination of the Egyptians, they are uncompromising in their demands. I think we in nigeria are yet to reach that level of unity of purpose. Secondly unlike many of us the egyptians understand the agenda of the americans and they do not trust them. They understand that america has been propping up Mubarak for 30 years providing military aid worth $1.5 billion dollars each year. Have we in Nigeria reached that level of awareness? for example are we even aware that succcessive nigerian leaders have been nothing more than western puppets whose sole objective is to serve their puppet masters and not the nigerian people? many of us are unaware of this fact. Are we also aware that nigeria is a recipient of military aid from the United States, and that this military aid is what has been propping up corrupt nigerian regimes since we gained our "independence". Are we aware that nigeria puts the interests of its puppet masters before the interest of its own people? many of us actually think that we live in a democracy when in actual fact we live in a police state , the Egyptians by contrast understand that Egypt under Mubarak is a corrupt police state run by gangsters Thirdly unlike us - the egyptians have refused to put their trust and hopes in a govt run by a criminal cabal, they have had enough of the high unemployment, poverty and brutality of Mubarak and his collaborators - have we had enough of the corrupt gang running nigeria? I would say no - this is why we continue to put our hopes in the same old recycled crooks who have nothing but the same old agenda for nigeria. When i look at the sheer courage of the egyptians - facing down tanks and snipers, tear gas, rubber and live bullets and water cannons i can only take my hat off to them - we have a lot to learn from them. |
No, nigerians are waiting for God to come down from heaven and lead the revolution, unlike the Egyptians and Tunisians they havent yet understood that God is not in the habit of helping those who do not help themselves. |
DeeJay20:The big mouths won't comment on this thread because their "brains" are incapable of coping with reality - they prefer to spend their time arguing over tribalism and other trivialities failing to even notice that there are much more pressing issues that they need to be concerned with. If at all they come across this topic they will just dismiss it as a "conspiracy theory". Here is an excerpt from an article detailing Britain's interference in nigeria's 1959 elections: A BBC radio documentary on the events leading up to the independence of Nigeria, Britain’s former colony, charged the British government with interference in the election to ensure the result was in line with its interests (see “Rigging Nigeria”). The programme cited two files held in the British National archives covering the period leading up to independence in 1960 that to this day remain closed to the public and will remain closed for another 50 years. One file contains material relating to the governor general at the time of independence, Sir James Robertson, and the other material on Dr Azikiwe, known as Zik, who was leader of the nationalist pro-independence political party, the National Council of Nigerian Citizens (NCNC). http://www.wsws.org/articles/2007/aug2007/nige-a09.shtml |
akwaowoudo:to be honest they suit each other -show me a man's wife and i will tell you who he is - "witch doctor" Goodluck Jonathan and "Dame" (i couldnt string a grammatical sentence in english together even if my life depended on it) Patience Jonathan are the perfect couple - two underacheiving dullards - i weep for our nation. |
oyb:that wazobia blog is brilliant - can't stop laughing ![]() |
Beaf:Beaf to compare you to a monkey would mean that you have actually made great progress in terms of mental development, if i placed you in a cage with a monkey - i can guarantee you that most right thinking people would want the monkey taken out of the cage in order to prevent you from retarding its mental development. Even monkeys recognise when they are being ill treated by their masters and react accordingly, does beaf understand or recognise that he is about to be taken for a ride by Goodluck and Patience Jonathan - no? Does that make Beaf lower than a monkey in terms of reasoning ability? Absolutely Yes. Research has shown that monkeys respond well when taught basic skills, is Beaf's "brain" capable of absorbing and comprehending the most basic information - you guessed it again - No. Beaf do you see that in terms of mental development you are yet to even reach the stage of an infant monkey therefore to talk about my evolutionary regression is quite rich if you ask me. To be honest Beaf I feel sorry for you, you remind me of an unwanted pet, you know the sort of pet that the family takes on a long drive and dumps it in the middle of no where but the pet still manages to trace its way back to the family, well thats you Beaf - like a loyal unwanted pet you keep championing the cause of the Jonathan's despite the fact that you stand to gain nothing from them should Jonathan win, like a pathetic discarded pet you continue to harangue your owners pleading, begging and bowing before them, hoping that they will throw you a little crumb. Im sorry to have to break it to you but its just not going to happen. |
And the saga continues, Nigeria is still under the control of Britain, every single leader that nigeria has had since independence (with the possible exception of Buhari) has been an agent of British imperialism and their neo liberal economic policies. I cant see Nigeria getting out of that arrangement because the consequences will be so severe, furthermore nigerians are not united and will never form a united front to defeat britain's stranglehold on it. Instead we are more preoccupied with tribalism and placing our hopes in leaders who sold nigeria out years ago. Is it Goodluck Jonathan that will defy the west and refuse to implement neo liberalism, or will he tell the IMF to sling their hook and take a running jump? not unless he wants to find himself being toppled and replaced with another traitor. Nigeria is now so far gone that it will take a revolution of the masses to get britain and america off our backs - that will never happen in a country as divided and steeped in tribalism as nigeria. |
There is nothing cool about being from a nation run by criminals, a nation where the rich treat the poor like sh.it and have no respect for the rule of law, a nation where no-one seems to have a moral compass but everyone shouts that they are a born again christian or muslim. Is nigeria an industrialised nation? No - does it manufacture anything? Again no. Stop living in a fool's paradise talking about "we get swagger" you get swagger and you ran away to live in europe - why? You should be back home in your beloved "naija" living it up but you're stuck in europe where the whites treat you like a second class citizen - get real and wake up, there is nothing great about being from nigeria, nigerians are hated every where in the world we go - when i went to gambia the minute i mentioned i was originally from nigeria people who had been friendly became cold and distant, no-one likes nigerians, its time we faced up to the truth and stop being fantasists. Its time to find a way to repair our damaged world image. |
gohome:It is only in nigeria that a first lady with substandard reading abilities is defended by clueless trolls like yourself. How many times do you want me to point out to you that it is unacceptable for a first lady to possess the reading ability of a ret.arded 4 year old. Imagine mentioning TB Joshua and Cheryl Cole - T B Joshua is not an ambassador of his country he is just a pastor with a very limited audience, when was the last time you saw TB Joshua addressing foreign dignataries? Cheryl Cole is a pop star from newcastle who speaks intelligible english which her fans understand so i dont know where you are getting your facts from, just say that you dont understand her newcastle accent and stop talking bollocks my friend. Why are you having high blood pressure over a woman whose only contribution to nigeria to date is money laundering ? You could be dying of starvation, or living as a destitute on the streets of lagos and this woman would just walk past you as if you were invisible so why are you getting all hot under the collar? When are you going to wake up and realise that nigerian politicians look down on people like you and have nothing but contempt for you. I would advise you to save your anger for after the elections when your "leaders" will sentence you to many more years of grinding poverty, misery, hunger and suffering. |
tensor777:are you still tracking me all over NL as usual, is it so hard for you to carry on with your life without me? I'll tell you what you are missing - a bottle of valium washed down with a bottle of vodka, try it, it just might make you feel better. |
@cap28
"You're a big fool" says the self hating african dunce with a russian name - words fail me here. If only you know what russian people think of black people you would change that name back to your native name. |
comechop:First of all i am not your brother as i do not know you, secondly i dont know if you know this but freedom of expression is a basic human right, if you dont like the topic be my guest and get lost. |
Just as i thought, Patience Jonathan went all the way to the US to carry on with her one woman illiteracy show hoping that she would be given an opportunity to hob nob with Michelle Obama only to find that SHE HAD BEEN DELIBERATELY LEFT OFF THE GUEST LIST !!!!!!! ![]() Here is an excerpt of the story: Despite her large, show-off delegation to New York—perhaps because of it—First Lady Patience Jonathan was on Friday in New York spurned by the wife of the world’s most powerful man. Michelle Obama, who was in New York as part of the 65th United Nations General Assembly, invited spouses of world leaders, including those of the leaders of such countries as Cameroon, Mongolia, Swaziland and Latvia, to tour a farm north of New York City as part of “Healthy Living” initiative. She thereafter treated her guests to a seasonal lunch featuring bounty from the farm as well as the White House garden. At both events, Nigeria’s Mrs. Jonathan was embarrassingly missing. It was not immediately clear why she was not invited, but reliable sources said Mrs. Jonathan is not highly regarded because of her poor reputation. It will be recalled that President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have been very critical of corrupt African leaders, and Mrs. Jonathan has highly-visible and un-discharged money-laundering charges against her. One of them, concerning the seizure from her of the sum of $13.5 million dollars by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on September 11, 2006, was broadcast worldwide by the International Herald Tribune. Other factors in the decision to exclude her may be her insertion of self into the political process in Rivers, where she recently had a run-in with the state governor. Mrs. Jonathan also has a penchant for frivolous jamborees and wasting taxpayers’ money. A report of her curious trip to Lebanon and Dubai in the early days of her husband’s presidency has badly damaged her reputation, a source said yesterday. The White House was also certain to have received reports of her bloated delegation to New York. According to report by 234next newspaper and the entourage list obtained by Saharareporters, personal aides that accompanied Mrs. Jonathan into New York include her steward, Benson Okpara; her luggage officer, Geoffrey Obuofforibo; and her special assistant in charge of administration, Oroyemisi Ojewole. Just as i thought, this waste of space together with her waste of space husband have been acting like the primitive Ijaw crooks that they are parading around the world with bloated entourages - AND FOR WHAT. Thank God Michelle Obama treated her like the waste of space she is. http://www.saharareporters.com/news-page/un-jamboree-fallout-michelle-obama-shuns-patience-jonathan-new-york-updated-correction-and |
i dont know why some are tripping over the fact that gej is a philanderer with multiple kids from multiple women outside the home. arent these the same ones who will fight to the death for polygamy and concubinage. so what's the problem if gej slept with the women you provided for him to sleep with? plz explain because i dont get this double standard. obj also had multiple wives and had only stella as his first lady, likewise other presidents, so why all the screaming as if it's a strange thing in nigeria.
to be honest i couldnt care less if he slept with 100 women every day without using a condom (its apparent he doesnt even beleive in practising safe sex) my concern is that he is weak, directionless and above all corrupt. And before you tell me that obj and his predecessors were the same way i can tell you that i couldnt stand them either. If we are saying that we intend to move forward as a nation we need people in office who are capable of making a postiive change, Goodluck Jonathan is not that person and the fact that he is also a philanderering theif to boot just makes him even more despicable. |
Beaf:You sound like a lonely soul cooped up in some bedsit somewhere with NL as your own source of companionship, i am inclined to agree with other posters on here that you have no life, hence your desperate attempt to create one on NL. I never knew that it would ever be possible for a certified ret.ard to call into question the intelligence of another human being - wonders shall never end. Given your advanced state of mental retardation i will not bother to even attempt to explain or clarify my statement in my last post as it will be completely futile. It is now common knowledge to everyone on NL that you are an unhinged nuisance whose only ambition in life is to sing the praises of a criminal couple who couldnt care less whether you lived or died, unfortunately for you all your shameless praise singing, ar.se licking, pleading and begging will not change anything for you - you will remain an aimless, directionless failure condemned to an empty life spent raging helplessly at a computer screen. |
gymer:People like you use religion as a form of escape - i know your type, always pretending to be holier than thou, but if i could see into your heart it would be full of evil. 70% of nigeria's population live on the equivalent of $1 a day and you're bragging to me that you are not one of them - so? Goodluck Jonathan was not elected to that position - it was placed in his lap by his fellow partner in crime Obasanjo - so stop lying to yourself and bringing God into this, these people are very far away from God in their actions and thoughts. Sycophants, beggars and religious fanatics like you will one day have to account for all the atrocities you have committed against the people of nigeria. Look at Tunisia and Egypt - the people got sick and tired of being ruled over by a bunch of satanic criminals and they rose up - very soon the revolution will spread to nigeria, so keep deceiving yourself, your day of reckoning is at hand. |
Theblessed:and your point is what exactly? I think it is apparent to everyone on here that english is the language of our conquerors - the british - we are well aware of that and that is not the issue. The issue is that SINCE we have been forced to adopt it as our national lingua franca or official language surely it makes sense that a person who has taken it upon herself to go out there to represent us on the world stage along with her husband should know how to speak and read it properly - especially since the person in question refuses to stay in the background and out of the limelight? People like you make me laugh - you've suddenly remembered that english is a "borrowed" language -actually its the language of the people who conquered us - theres a difference, but i digress, are you also aware that christianity and islam are also not the religions of our ancestors? perhaps we should also revert to our ancestral religions as well, do you want to be the first one to do that? Since you seem to be advocating that we remember our ancestral roots, how about us relinquishing every aspet of western influence in our lives, shall we start by getting rid of our western influenced mindset, lets stop buying western cars, copying western music, western films, western fashion (if you are one of those nigerian women who wear weaves, fake nails and use bleaching cream - make sure you consign all of these to the dustbin once you have been able to do all of that then come and talk to me about english being a "borrowed language". you can't eat your cake and have it too. |
