It's clear you've no kids of your own and should you have in the future, a piece of advice for you, instill the right sense of choice in them and not having them feel the world is a happy go lucky place as you are wont to believe. How can you call a mother who has chosen a path for her kid "irresponsible"?

My husband has long natural hair and I weave it for him.

The other day, I was hailing the current miss world ABI miss universe from South Africa. She locks short natural hair.
We so much hate our hair, we fix Brazilian. Imagine a black babe with flat nose fixing Brazilian.
We are never satisfied with what we have. Our hair is very beautiful and unique.

I have seen it all. We can do one and million things with that.

-There has been a lack of masculine role models in the daily lives of Nigerian males in the last 3 decades hence the confusion we see amongst males on what it entails to be a man today.
-The popularity of Nigerian pop music,nollywood movies even the Nigerian comedies Nigerian men consume is filled with women worshippers and women worshipping themes.Western entertainment is a worse form of cancer.
-The mother worshipping which is prevalent amongst Nigerian men (and which they carry like a badge of honour)is another issue Nigerian males have got to do away with because it indirectly leads to woman worship.

There are other issues to contend with but the lack of masculine role models is the main one.It's also a major issue in many societies and communities around the world

I know of a guy that married from Nigeria abroad, when the girl got there, she started misbehaving ! She connived with her mom to create hell for the guy. They eventually had a divorce and as usual half of his property was given to the girl according to USA law.

PS: they had a child and till today the guy is still paying child support
