Good day @everyone,
I'm a student of a popular university in the North Central region
I'm studying computer science and I just entered 200 Level
I'm here to ask a few questions and I also need some advice.
My School uses the 5 point grading system
while I was in 100 level first semester my GPA was 3.5(Second Class Upper) and for the Second semester it's was 3.45(Second Class Lower )

I'm kinda aiming to have a First Class or a strong 2.1

Is it still possible for me to graduate with a 2.1
?
I look forward to you guys response
Thanks

Edited.
You'll need to be making at least a GPA of 4.85 per remaining semesters to graduate with a first class.Mind you, this only holds if it's a 4years course.

This is a Maths course on Dynamics of a rigid body I suppose.
NDSMELODY:
The first one is rectantangular coordinate in vector form.it represent x and y axis denoting cos theta and sine theta respectively..... In field of dynamics, first derivative represent velocity and second derivative represent acceleration with respect to time..

The second one is three Cartesian coordinate system representing x,y,z or I,j,k respectively. The example given in mechanics problem, you determine unit or position vector and then use to calculate the moment of force abt a point in a particularl direction.
Thank you both for your response.

My office colleague's daughter left year 2 MBBS (doing well result wise) at UNILAG and followed her passion; graduated with a 2.1 BSc. Geology, got a Total MSc scholarship, graduated with Distinction from Total IFP France, and now employed and working as an international staff at TotalEnergies HQ in France.
God! when?

Telecomm is diverse, with more of opportunities. I can say it works hand in hand with ICT.

I studied Elect-Elect because I really nursed interest in power (electricity). The likeness got kindled the day I felt electric shock as a boy (at JSS 1 or 2 then) & why the NEPA can't give people enough electricity knowing fully that importance of light in our day-to-day activities cannot be overemphasized. Unlike many then, I needed no one to tell me about Science, Art & Commercial classes coz I had made my finding about the class I would attend for my dream. My main interest lies in having practical knowledge in power generation.
Thank you very much. lol@ the bolded. God make your/our dreams come through.

From the very first day I know how to write my name, I fell in love with moving parts( Mechanical Engineering). But had to switch lanes, because my Uncle (one of those mentioned) thought it's better. But by God's grace, I am not doing bad academically touring that(EEE) route. Thanks for your time.

Okay, I don't know exactly what type of Polar Coordinates System is this. I have Exams tomorrow, but I don't want to cram. Please anyone who is familiar with this should please tell me the exact topic...Have tried searching, can't find anything related. Only found the normal simple Polar coordinates system with resultant (r) and angle(theta).

Ten (10) things every Nigerian Jambites must know before entering the University in 2021

I wish newly admitted students will listen to this. "You can feel relaxed when a foundation is laid...But you'll suffer to make amends when the foundation is faulty".Your first year is the time.
Keep friends(who have the same goals), don't be arrogant(smile always like mumu(but know what brought you to school)). Be serious if not for the sake of your parents who pay your fee, or because of your future, do it for the fact that you're paying for it(make the best out of whatever you're paying for). It's true that school doesn't guarantee success, but it worked for some, you don't know where yours lie!

One day i figured out that my B.Eng certificate was no longer useful, dumped it and started programming from scratch, watching Youtube and free courses from coursera

Elect elect is probably the best engineering course you can study in Nigeria. Make sure you are good at designing systems (whether power or electronic systems) understand most concepts from first principle and get a good 2:1 and above, publish some technical papers... and hold God tight..
This means alot Sir, I appreciate.

I nice field of study I must say, I advice you don't settle for anything less than second class(Upper division) b'cos securing a job with this is quite easy than with a lower CGPA. Ignore all the distractions & do away with friends who doesn't have same goal (ambition) with you, just put in all effort for this 5 years of studies so in the end you'll find light at the end of the tunnel.

N.B: knowledge is the secrete of sustainable development that results into unlimited achievement, therefore, investment in knowledge is the gateway to a groundbreaking testimonies.
Wish you all the best sir.
Thank you very much Sir! I really appreciate.

My bro, I advice you pursue your passion.
My story bellow:

My elder bro who happened to be the breadwinner of the family ask me to study nursing in uniben and also vow not to sponsor me if I study otherwise.
I spent 4yrs in uniben studying nursing that made him happy...
Long story short, after graduation I secured a job which I was paid 25k monthly BUT while I'm sex school I was very good in Maths, further maths & physics. I was able to save some money and I put in for poly-JAMB after successful 2 yrs of studying I obtained a National Diploma in Elect Elect Eng.(distinction) that made me to join a reputable oil producing company...Soon after joining I went straight for HND, I made Upper Credit by God's grave I'm a master degree holder and very happy with what I do.

In conclusion bro, pursue your dream.
Sir! I am currently a 200 level EEE Student. Thanks for this, Any advice?

I actually did after my first Bachelors in Nigeria.I had to after moving outside the country, I had to research courses that align with the country’s needs and high demand. Computer science did the magic and I haven’t had any regrets with the years spent in college. Initially I had friends that laughed at me but today they are envious of my progress within a short period of time.My advice to those moving to the US or Canada, I don’t know much about other countries, is that they should research and go for courses that are in high demand in their respective countries. I have friends that came to the US to study international business. Today many of them are depressed and one has even resorted to yahoo out of frustration.
please boss, what's your take on elect.elect? currently a 2nd year student.

EEE - Electrical and electronics engineering? If so, yes. This depends on the career route you take with it - MSc Computer Science or tech developer will it hasten your japa process than say working in power generation firm. Use the degree and enter the digital industry as it has lots of jobs. EEE is a good degree to build digital skills on. As an example, there are over 10K developer jobs advertised on South Africa's LinkedIn website and over 19K jobs in Singapore'e tech industry were left unfilled because of lack of skilled personnel. Huge demand as a result of weak supply which will translates to high salaries.
Ok, thanks. I am an undergraduate thinking between telecommunications and electronic or control and instrumentation option, any advice?
