Well, I think the newspaper that reported that news got some facts wrong. An impeccable source, had reported on that evening of the crash that Maku wanted to board the ill fated chopper along Azzazi, Yakiwa, Umar Sanni and co but was compelled on by protocol to go ahead of the crashed chopper by joining another chopper which left before the crashed chopper. Whichever report is true, whether the one that crashed left before or after Maku's doesn't change the fact that he would have been in the crashed chopper and I rejoice with him as he thanks his stars and God most importantly. I hope Rudolf Okonkwo and his Sahara reporters cronies have failed one more time.

Actually, the Japs have a high incidence of mental illness made evident by the level of suicide in their country. The chinese also have been experiencing increasing number of suicides due to depression with mental illness underlinings. In addition, statistically or by way of reasoning, the 21st century (with high level of sophistication and intelligence) is characterised by increasing levels of mental disorders e.g schizophrenia and bi-polar disease. What majority of Nigerians believe to be mental illness is when a person becomes finally psychotic. Psychosis is however just one of the end results of mental illness. Suicide, murder, sexual promiscuity, sociopathy and the increasing phenomenon of homelessness are also symptoms. In a nut shell, mental illness is deeper than Nigerians' views.

Meanwhile, the 'government people' will wise up and tell their family members that the Boko war is entering a new phrase, so be wise, sharp and keep a top eye open. With respect to your question, St Charles Lwanga is an African saint, from Uganda to be precise. And there are host of others.
