RomanceRe: I'm I Qualified To Get Married Or Not? by cc150615(f): 5:00am On Nov 01, 2016
HCF:
There are certain things you can not have back in life-time wasted is one of such. Personally, I dont think the OP too young to get married. In fact he should have been married by now all things being equal...However, I do not belong to the school of thought that says if he marries much later in life(perhaps at 35 and above) 'he would spend his pension on his children's school fees'...or 'his children would be under stress financially'.

With all due respect, that is a myopic way of thinking. We have seen instances where people married early,in their twenties and could not even have a child till their late forties/early fiftees. If their aim of getting married then was to have children early to avoid such a problem, then has the aim not been defeated?....I have seen instances where a man in his late thirties is still a liability to the parents, while another boy in his early twenties has already become successful, making his own parents proud-Both parents of the man and the young boy are agemates..meaning one married 10years before the other!...

In short, getting married early does not mean you would become relieved of your children's financial or social burden early, it does not even mean you would become a grandparent before someone who married much later in life....

However I am not saying getting married late is good...but we need to understand that,'life has no manual'..and the 'end justifies the means'

@Op.
Do you have someone you really like enough to get married to?. I mean someone who also shares in your values and ideals. If yes, then go ahead, marry her and regardless of the challenges you face, both of you can weather the storm together and u would emerge victorious...such stories are sweet to tell.. smiley

But, if u are asking this question because some of your colleagues, relatives or friends are married, and you think u should also marry, then you might be making a grave mistake-a kind of mistake which is becoming a recurring decimal in our society today...In as much as I support getting married as and when due, I won't encourage you to marry just because others are doing it. Cheers.
This is a million dollar advice. funfair001, look no further, this is the advice you're looking for.

I have something nice i want to tell you

I will buy a brand new used brain for you

Why won't you marry a guy who earns 50k per month ??

Why can't you get off your lazy ass and go get a high paying job and help your husband and stop looking for Dangote to come marry you

Gold digging Hoes

So, men who earns 50k per month doesn't deserve a wife because they're poor ?? God, please destroy this world make everybody go rest

Just look at useless females who doesn't earn 60k in a month airing their opinion on who to marry

If you are a female and earn 80k per month, you don't have the right or opinion on a hard working man who earns 50k per month, why don't you work hard and support your husband ??

My father was earning 10 naira per month when he married my mother and 40 years later they're still married and my old man is now a millionaire

This is the only reason why i will never get Married, i will just go find a girl, get her pregnant she gives me 4 kids and we live together for ever, i don't want rubbish from Foolish girls

The only people i blame are men, they fall mumu to women, that's why these females who have nothing and are broke have expectations on the type of guys they wanna marry

This type of Fuckery is what you get when you foolishly want to get married

Just get them good for nothing girls pregnant, that's how to cure their foolishness

*Spits

*Spits again on money hungry hoes who only wants a guy for his money

Awwww sorry dearie you sound soo pained, but that's just the way the world is.
But u know when a lady dt earns less says I can't marry a man that earns 50k you ppl will say she's a gold digger ;but even when the other ones dt earn high says I can't marry a man that earns 50k or anything lower than me you people will still say she's proud, so u see there's really nothing we can do to please you ppl, dts why we just go ahead to do whatever makes us happy anyway.

Thanks @Tej2.. Will try and get it done as requested. Cheers...
After raising the bank draft, you don't have to physically visit their office; just make a photocopy of ur international passport, and put it in an envelope with your bank draft and send it to their ph office if they don't have an office in Benin (which I don't think they have) through dhl or ems, I'll recommend dhl tho since its faster, they'll confirm your registration as soon as they receive it.
As for preparation, download the edx app and register for the ielts training course there offered by university of Queensland or so, they don't only treat past questions there but they teach indepth on how to tackle the different parts of the test, and it's all free, offcos except for the data you use.
I hear roadtoielts.com is another good site for preparing.
Good luck!

Good evening everyone. Please I am registering for IELTS general, scheduled on  third of November, 2016 in Enugu, and I have been issued 52,000 naira bank draft in favour of British council. However, upon getting to your office to complete the registration, I was asked to pay additional 10,000 naira, making it 62,000 naira in total, that the fee has been increased..Please, I would like to confirm this fee increase since it does not in any way reflect on their website. Please can anyone who registered recently tell me how much he paid.. I have already mailed their office, but it could take a couple of days to get their feedback and I am expected to complete my registration tomorrow. Thank you.
I think you should call the customer care line on the website, call the headquarters or another branch not enugu branch
+234-1-4603090-9
That's the number for their Lagos office which I think also doubles as their HQ in Nigeria, call them btw 8am-12noon tomorrow nd confirm.

NYSCRe: Good To Go Batch B Corpers - How Much Did You Save From Your Allawee by cc150615(f): 8:37am On Oct 06, 2016
Well, sometimes what you saved might not be as important as what you achieved....nysc to me looks like the freeest one year of one's life, so what's more important is what you achieved....were you able to use little of your allowee to add value to yourself, like doing some training, getting some certifications that you'll need later in life or even community service, anything at all or did you even during nysc successfully set up a business that now dt nysc is over you don't even need to go job hunting, I've seen ppl do these things.
During my nysc, I learnt a trade that's actually being very useful for me now.
The truth is any money you even save now, u can't guarantee what you'll do with it, before you know you might even spend up that whole money on transport fare for tests and interviews...
Take note I'm not saying saving up part of your allawee is bad, don't just concentrate on saving the money but have a plan of what you wanna do with your saved up money.
CONGRATULATIONS on your POP guys, Welcome to life!

I just think if you think I'm friend enough to come to your house at all, then there should be no segregation of parts of the house.
In fact what if the house na sef con?? Na him be say the visitors no go pass corridor since dy can't enter your room... undecided

You had the opportunity to nail him but you let it pass by.

Now another lady out there will still fall a victim, when that Idiat would've been made to face the full wrath of the recession after he must have been sacked and shamed...

When you see something, say something.

Change begins with you, Ma.
You guys shouldn't be so fast to conclude, this is Nigeria, I've seen first hand where ppl try all legal/diplomatic means to report such superiors but still suffer the consequences...who told you that the person capable of sacking him isn't another pedophile looking for bed greasers.
I'm not saying he can't be caught and brought to book but it's not as easy as y'all think and if I were in her shoes I won't want to put myself through that hassle.
As for the next lady that would come his way, it's left for her also to make her own choice.

OP, I know it took a lot of courage for you to turn him down considering how scarce jobs are but I believe God will reward your faithfulness just keep holding on. Truth is you could have only given in to that if you're ready to continue greasing his bed to remain on the job and even many other beds so the decision you took is the best.
See you at the top!

CareerRe: Should I Stay In My Old Job Or Move To This New One (I Need Serious Advice) by cc150615(f): 9:42am On Sep 14, 2016
OP forget this disloyal thing, the only reason why ur boss agreed to increased your pay when you wanted to resign is because they value you nd so don't want to lose you, I've seen ppl do dt all the time nd lemme assure you dt the value they placed upon you isn't about to reduce any soon as far as you keep doing your job right and even improve on it so forget the fact that maybe they will use it against you later. I'm sure cos I have examples of ppl dt have done such in the past, even ppl the mgt didn't have any special likeness for but just because they know their job.

Secondly, changing jobs frequently, I have always believed isn't so good for anybody's career cos a potential employer would have an impression that you'll also leave him soon, even dt new coy u wanna go to will have dt impression wen dy see dt you worked for ur previous employer only for a short time so I always advise ppl to stick with their jobs for sometime except the situation is really bad.

Finally, you said your current bosses have a good attitude, you enjoy working there an your skillset is well appreciated, my brother I don't pray for you to be in a situation that you will start saying you should have known that money isn't everything. You don't know what the situation will be as per working environment on this ur new job, nd with all the uncertainties surrounding a smaller firm as opposed to ur current firm dt is bigger and well established, even considering the current economic situation of Nigeria...
When u look at all these points you'll see dt the little amount ur new job is adding may not be worth the stress afterall so if u ask me, I'll say remain on your current job.
