I mentioned 4 earlier and asked if it can be connected in series/parallel. You confirmed it can be done, which I believe is for the discharge line to make it 24V for use with a 24V inverter/UPS.

You also confirmed it can be charged with solar using a PWM CC which is why I purchased it (PWM CC). My question now is since the battery has separate charge and discharge cables, how do i connect the two batteries to the PWM CC? Note: I intend to connect in series for 24V output.

I also mentioned that one is a used battery which you also advised against using it, otherwise my initial intention was to parallel and series 2S2P.

I don't think your 12v lithium is designed to be connected in series to get multiple values. The BMSes usually don't work that way except maybe a recent development sha.

He best you can do with those nominal 12v lithium batteries is connection in parallel and you can easily do that with the different charge and discharge cables that come from the battery.

If you require 24v lithium, you will have to go for Lithium already manufactured with a 24 volt nominal and 24v BMS.

Your batteries are Lithium Polymer batteries. I think that calls for more stringent charging conditions which that SCC may not provide, except if the charging parameters are user customisable.

I think you should avail the forum the voltage of your lithium battery, if it has in built BMS (an uploaded picture of the rating on the label might suffice enough info) and also if your SCC is customisable.

First how many battery do you have?
Secondly what is your inverter voltage?
You can use the ups which I think is 24volt but must attached fan internally on the MOSFETs and should not exceed 600watt load on it because most ups you see are over rated and are designed to handle load within a short period.

It's the lab scientists that you still see referring to 'emselves as "lab doctors" abi? That is even nothing. They have their own problems too within their rank; scientists vs technicians and it is a big thing, soon to get uglier than scientists against doctors.

And well, other "budding" disciplines too use to stethoscope as a means of identification and are gradually adopting the "dr" prefix such that very soon, every personnel in the hospital environment, from the accountant down to the orderly will need to be called a doctor.

Funny enough, regardless of the fact that they are the ones expected to, I don't see doctors crazy about this fad of sticking stethoscopes to their dashboards or rear view mirrors but other hospital non-doctor employees have adopted this style. Now does that not mean some complex issues?

I think with this upsurge of kidnapping for ransom, no doctor would even wanna risk advertising himself as a potential prey so as many as possible can decide to carry the stethoscopes around. Even the engineers, lawyers, hospital admin staff are free to if they so desire. It's really not about what you display, is it? It's basically about the skills that gives you away as the real doctor.

@bolded. Do you imply that you remove the battery connection to the Charge controller whilst the panels and the panel cables are connected?

What configuration is your panel (parallel or series) and which config is your batteries (12v or 24v)?

yes inverter ups is good cheap and rugged.it have a very low self consumption(i still use one, even though i have a 3kva mustpower) u can get one for 3k, then buy a very good cheap battery charger for 11k, then u are good to good.

I assume these UPS output Modified Sane Wave and not PSW. Is that correct?

I bought the 600watts peak 300watts continuous variant of this product for a standalone set up. I actually bought it twice, after blowing up the first one during experimentation. But it still works fine as it's been working for about 4 months now. The problem with the model i got is that the cooling fan, although silent, is not powerful enough for me. Also it has no USB port compared to similar specs from other manufacturers.

If you happen to get it from the same seller I got from, it should get to Nigeria in 10 days or thereabout, excluding the days for transit within the country.

Later after I bought the Aiyima product, I came across some other products with display information (which I would have preferred) and even some with wired remote for control from inside the house.

major con of 12v setup is that you are forced to keep ur array under 800w, 600w is the max for a 60amp cc, wch is the commonest, unless you have 80amps, then u can go upto 1kw array. 12v isnt ideal for heavy loads, cos of higher currents involved, 24v is the sweet spot.

Are you talking about a PWM CC, cos I think that with a 60amps MPPT you can still hit the 1350 watts spot comfortably. I think it should be 720watt max for a 60amps PWM on 12volt system and 1440 watts for the 24volt.

So perhaps an MPPT of 60amps on a 24 volt system will be okay, abi?

Baba, I don jettison those useless guys now no be 36 months, for my crib of course. So I don't even think I will wanna give 'em consideration for a small office business power supply.

I know I will have to oversize that array to at least 1.25kw (x1.5) to cover for losses and inefficiency.

I don't think I will wanna go Fangpusun for something not large scale. That will be investing too much.

Guys.
With the coming hamattan months, an inverter AC is expected to enter the picture of the appliances. I think the consumption is around 1250 watts tops on the sticker (I heartily welcome users' opinion on the real life consumption values)

Being a business area, it's expected to run mostly during sun hours; no need to be so pushy for evening use on such power consumption.

A modular solar set up for an LG type inverter AC. Would you advice a 12v setup or a 24volt set up? Reasons being that an experimental 12v 2400 watts peak PSW inverter is lying fallow. The new purchases will be an MPPT SCC (thinking of trialing the MakeSkyBlue rival, PowMr), solar panels, batteries and of course other gamut that comes with the connections.

Nonetheless, if you think i may be pushing it somewhat with the 12v system and would rather I opt for some higher voltage system, please do good to state it too. After all, repurposing that 12v inverter from its lab rat function is a half-hearted decision.

What are your expert opinions please?

I used this with a 24V dc-coil AC contactor to disconnect a specific load at a particular battery level. though I had to pass it's output through a dc buck to make the output a constant 24V for the contactor.

But it should also have programmable re-connect voltage. I will prefer to have a reconnect voltage a few significant values above the low voltage disconnect point.

Well, BMSes fail over time. They are presumably designed to last the lifetime (or a little more) of the batteries they come packaged with.

Now if you get these components from different suppliers and have them working together in incongruence and their individual lifetime gets spent one before the other; you know what that means.
