stanisbaratheon:Is that from the seller that changed your shipping from your preferred choice of DHL to IAExpress? |
stanisbaratheon: ![]() |
stanisbaratheon:You will be charged sir. Besides, shoes and clothes, maybe not wrist watches, are part of items in the restricted importation list even though that doesn't mean you can't bring 'em in. But with the unreasonable peculiarities of things Nigerian which the customs is part of, you may be taxed or worse an insane or greedy officer may decide to have them seized espevially if the items are beautiful and expensive. Of course you know that ends as his personal belongings. |
BOSMANARIS: |
BOSMANARIS:Apparently this is not clear. But I'll use as much layman's terms as possible to explain. The scrotrum (rugae bag that holds the balls) is so shaped and structured for different reasons one of which is to carefully control the temperature of the two balls in it within acceptable limits of temperature that is conducive for formation and survival of sperm cells and the production of hormones (regulatory chemicals of the human body). This bag can contract to "tightly pack" the balls when the temperature is cold or relax to give a "dangling" appearance when temperature is warm. In the womb, the male baby develops its balls inside the abdomen but when delivery is getting close, the two balls slowly descend and enter the scrotrum (bags). When male babies are born, the doctors examine the bags to determine if the balls are there. If not, the mother may be adviced to regularly check for it and if by 5 or 6 months the bags are still empty then the child is brought in for evaluation. If it remains within the groin or abdomen after 6 months, an undesvetnded tested is likely. It requires quick surgical fix otherwise it proves to have undesirable health risks such as infertility and increased risk for testicular cancer, which is understandably true because the balls which should be within well regulated temperature will now be exposed to the persistently hot mileau of the abdomen or groin. Like chicken eggs which requires tightly controlled temperature to hatch failure of which it remains as eggs which then rots away. Parents are responsible for observing their children over the years leading to puberty for features that are off which should immediately be reported to the doctor. I remember wify being worried over something as flimsy as a tiny foreskin fragment remaining for some months after the circumcision of our boy. To her, the circumcision was not perfected at that point being a medical person that has herself either witnessed or done a number of such procedures. She was sore worried it may affect the child's manly (sexual) functions. Though the redundant skin later slid off but it still took some convincing from me and later her observation of the presence of normal early morning penile turmescence (erections) in the boy for her to rest her mind. FreeSpirited:Don't be like this. How is it unrelated? Endocrine and metabolic disorders can indeed co-exist in a number of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndromes.Maybe you're not a medical personnel though. It's not bad to have dissenting opinion on issues but don't act like your own opinion is the incontrovertible one. And even if your opinion is the gospel truth, which it is not, that's no reason to be brash; that is not a nice way to disagree. Having said that, the OP's case is not something to trivialise. He is advanced in age and should HAVE negotiated some developmental stages before now, stages which he himself feels he has not experienced. This is usually one of the first symptoms patients themselves notice that makes them to seek medical opinion. And I think the OP was a little slack in acting. He should have complained to his parents when he is around 22 years and notices features off with his secondary sexual characteristics. If he is shy about talking to his parents, information abound on the internet these days (the luxury we did not have as teenagers) to arm yourself with when going to talk to your parents or the doctor about it. I don't subscribe to the "do not to worry", "you're blessed with not having to shave down there", "you're blessed with baby face and girly voice to sing", "you're just a late bloomer" and "as long as you have erection, then you need not worry" responses. There are enough worries for person for this world already and adding the issue of having to visit the doctor in order to give woman belle to it is not something desirable. |
3kay945:It's called polythelia. There is another form that is with multiple breast tissues rather than multiple nipples. Reminds me of the lady with three breasts in the Arnold Schwarzenegger movie "Total Recall" |
VeeVeeMyLuv:Destination address was Ibadan. |
48 days in transit Shipper - Yanwen Economic Air Mail Ordered - July 7 Shipped - July 8 Received package - 24th August Received SMS from PO for pickup since 6 days ago.

Jecyangel:There is a percentage of the cost price of the item that customs usually calculate, that will be your payable duty. I can't really remember the percentage now but people here will help. The price of the item will be written on the package by the seller so the customs use it to do their calculation. Now not paying the duty thing is sometimes a thing of luck. As per phones, laptops, tablets etc, the officers are usually eagle-eyed on those so with such items there is 90% chance that you will be taxed, there is of course a 10% that you will escape; note my deliberate use of the word escape. |
justcallmenuel:Folks, it appears that alingmemt of peeps with lithium is on an upward trend. |
earthrealm:Please remember me in your kingdom when you snag a deal at fair price. Me too I wan do hanger on for better deal biko. And you will get good performance above what you got for the FLAs. |
earthrealm:See heh, for this one just prepare like that kain 1.5 mil. Last time I chatted a guy, he had 48v 105AH on offer for 480k. I got 12v105ah and 24v105ah from him months ago; planning an upgrade I sought for the 48v from him. He's the same guy Ojeysky uses. earthrealm:That QASA standing fan may come in handy here. Not rechargeable but AC/DC 12v input and can also do well on about 18v 60watts solar panel plugged into the port. Comes with alligator clips and a 240vac to 12vdc power paxk included. Got two for around 11k5 each on Jumia about 8 months ago. Last time I checked it's around 17k. I'll help you check if it's still available. |
zinodizt:I understand the batteries are 12v in series. I think as someone said, you might wanna use multimeter to check the true voltages of the battery to be sure the percentage voltage indicator on your device is correct and does not need calibration. Take measurements of the batteries when it's full and take measurements at different discharge states comparing it to a SoC chart (available online). The fact that you just changed your SCC may mean that the faulty one before it was changed has had some negative effects on the battery bank or the new one do not/is not programmed to take the battery thru the necessary stages of charging and does not even charge it to full, reason you need to use a multeter to measure the voltages when it shows 100% full. There is a BTS PSW inverter that I just gave out. When it's charging lead acid chemistry batteries, 100% ranges from 13.5v to14.5v while 80% is at 12.8v. When it's not charging, it sees 12.8v as 100% and 12.6v as 80%. It's a little different when it's on 12v LFP though. So the voltage used as SoC in these things is not the gold standard. Your loads don't seem to be much and 24v 100ah dropping that fast on 60 watts laptop needs some diagnostics. It's advisable that you decipher what the problem truly is before you conclude it's battery and going ahead to change the batteries. What kind of SCC do you have installed? |
zinodizt:Did it start doing this of late or that's always been the backup duration you get since the battery got installed? Your load too is a determining factor, that's assuming that the battery is in excellent condition. So you might wanna look into the loads too. You did not mention the ratings of your panel, but whatever it is I assume that your panels working to charge the battery during sun hours is likely sufficient to sustain your battery at full SoC with or without loads on the system but soon as the sun goes down by around 6pm or insolation starts to drop at around 5pm, the battery takes over hence the percentage drop, the rate and rapidity of which is dependent on the loads. |
stanisbaratheon:Man, a seller changed shipping from Aramex to AESS for you and you didn't message him that thunder will fire him if he refuses to do the right thing? That's like paying for EMS and the seller changing it to SingPost. |
Abdomox:I feel you should get acquainted with more of the common things you'll come across as a DIY solar enthusiast so as to make the experience easier and sweeter. Battery connection methods is one of those. You batteries reading different voltages apart is what can be called "batteries imbalance" and it can present in both parallel or series connections. It has disadvantage which is that the battery with the lower voltage is likely bad, hopefully salvageable, and ultimately the bad battery will bring down the good one with it so that the two batteries eventually get bad. Refer to the attached picture for a diagrammatic representation of battery connections. Don't forget to visit that link posted earlier on. It will also be good for you go to thru the pages, at least skimming thru 'em if you don't have the luxury of time. It will help you to get grasp of the subject matter especially questions about the battery connection methods and problems that may arise therefrom.
|
Abdomox:First you didn't state how the two batteries are connected - In series or in Parallel. For more comprehensive responses from solar power enthusiasts visit this naira land thread: https://www.nairaland.com/390522/solar-energy-complement-fta/827 |
Yèyé dey smell. So Lagos is the same size as Nigeria, so governing Lagos is difficult than governing a multiethnic polytheistic entity like Nigeria, abi? That doesn't mean I am in support of the abysmal performance of Buhari so far though, but please do not bring Tinubu as a standard for others. |
Israelicc:See toasting o. ![]() 22 inches TV - not smart though - dey there already. But that AC sha, I can already see what the system upgrade will take. Being on 24v system currently, I think it's best to include it when 48v system comes online which hopefully should be soon. eleojo23:Funny enough this has not happened in all the years a TV has been in the kitchen, and expectedly so. Having it in the kitchen will mean not frequently sneaking out to the living room to take peeks at the screen thereby forgetting that there is food on the burner. I have been deliberate not to introduce my household to Zeeworld, so since contact has not been established, addiction is not present. I actually have that channel and other Indian channels scrambled. Thankfully her busy schedule at workplace precludes the privilege of toying around with different channels on the TV at work thereby coming across Zeeworld and developing interest in it. But of course Africa magic movies and Movies magic for her and cartoon for the kids is non-negotiable. |
stanisbaratheon:Isn't this is a strong ground to file for trade dispute? |
NiyiOmoIyunade:This is one issue that cannot be ignored. Thanks. |
• Ordered June 19 • Shipped June 22 • Received today August 22 Shipping: Cainiao Super Economy Global I wasn't contacted. I had to call when I got notification of arrival from AE in my mail.
|
acunon:Is this available? |
ojeysky: NiyiOmoIyunade:Thanks. The average consumption of most extractors I can across online have been modest, circa 60 watts of I clearly recall. But the noise of those cooking hoods no be here. I have tried checking out a few available around me and I have reservations about the extra noises. I know you'll say after all na Madame workplace e be so complaints of any noises should be from her not me. ![]() |
Folks, is it really ideal or worthwhile to have an air conditioner installed in the kitchen? Does anyone here have that in their home? Sorry it may be a little off topic, but I guess it's still remotely related. |
And this on national tv I wonder if and how NTA is gonna report this in the news tonight.
|
Hmmm. So Godzilla truly existed. ![]() Reminds me of Chris Tucker in rush hour movie when he was arguing with Jackie Chan. "Yeah, you Chinese remain calm in crises, y'all see Godzilla and be screaming gayaka gayaka, I seen the movie", Chris Turker mocked. |
isgombe:Just request for extension of one month. For all you care, your item might be in Nigeria already but NIPOST laziness is delaying delivery. 30 days extra will have tipped the item transit days to more than 100 days, so in worst case scenario when your item does not arrive or does not get delivered, more than 100 days in transit should further increase your chances of getting favourable trade dispute arbitration. |
ojeysky:Nope. Remote switching is not really required. The fridge is basically for cold beverages on sale, so daytime cooling is sufficient. The freezer handles other frozen items on sale. |
Dem don start to dey fly all over again like winch. That first consultant hospital they were using was just a last resort when they had no choice. This is another sad re-emphasis that this people are incorrigible. Any same human being will know that this covid outbreak is filled with many non-cryptic non-subtle messages to Nigerian politicians, messages that they should develop what the masses use to be as good as what they themselves will be comfortable to use. Indeed, God is long-suffering. |
ojeysky:Is that stuff manual? I took delivery of the AC sinometer about three weeks ago. It controls only the fridge. The freezer is 24/7.
|
So apparently things are improving with deliveries, although NIPOST is still footdragging seriously. Someone that was supposed to pick up an item for me got there around 4:02pm only to be told that they usually close by 2pm because of Corona. I mean ever since lockdown has been lifted and people asked to resume to work. An item that's been 114 days in transit suddenly changed status update a huge leap from "dispatched to overseas" in May to delivery today all within 2 days. SMS received for pickup. Singapore Post.
