zeestone99:Lol @ Seraphim. Cherubim nko? Wetin Satan eye no go see for hell? ![]() |
OreMI22:Those nonentities will start having their day from 2023. By then, even free movement of those brigands and aliens cannot be guaranteed as every sane and bonafide Nigerian is seriously vexed at them at the moment and majority are hell bent on having their own pound of flesh. Pockets of jungle justice will likely be the order of the day by then. But right now, their patron wields power and will keep protecting his cousins. |
Olamak1:I don't even give such offers a second look. In my heydays on AE, I had fallen for a summer sales offer of Bose Soundlink II for about 12k at a time it was officially selling for 65k. Item arrived and the weight of the package alone was the first red flag. Dude sent me a regular Bluetooth speaker with radio and SD card that was a poor imitation of the original Bose Sound link II which has nothing of such. That same day I made videos of the item and asked a friend who has the real stuff to send me pictures and videos of his own. Thank God globacom did not disappoint with their network. I uploaded the two videos and other pictures and got refunded sharp sharp. That same month I got the real stuff from an official seller on AE at a discount price of 45k. That was my first ever refund on AE and I was glad at the news that I still got to keep the item, which I later gifted out anyways. I later investigated the shop of that useless seller and found out it was newly opened for the purpose of that AE summer sales. It was closed a month after sales ended. |
Before nko? Are you guys not there to out up acts, lie to yourselves and the whole world? |
dapsyra:Will this require BMS or is BMS already installed in the pack? |
Etuglucy:Now see what they have done. There's no short cut really. Somehow along the way, the deficit will manifest. You sadly engaged in it and even if it's not directly responsible for the poor lexis and spelling errors in this your comment, it will somehow have an effect in some other areas. Try to build yourself please and determine in your heart that your kids will not have to engage in such cheating. |
funshyboi:You can try out the 60 watts and 80 watts panels connected in PARALLEL to your controller. Your load of 32" TV (maybe with conservative power saver of 35 watts and decoder of 4 watts makes a total estimate of 39 watts. Total panel capacity of 140 watts may get you by on very sunny days, especially if you will have to simultaneously use the appliance as you recharge it thru the panels. |
acunon:No Bluetooth

By the time the Chinese try to take over Nigerian infrastructures for loan payment default, guys go dey ball. Guys go dey kidnap the Chinese for ransom dey go. ![]() |
mahkanjuh:It's possible. The BMSes are the same specs at least. Connect together like wires, that is charging wires on both together (positive to positive and negative to negative) and then the power wires together (positive to positive and negative to negative) to form common charging leads and common power leads respectively. The battery is on "different port BMS", meaning that you'll have four leads exiting the battery pack. So you should connect the common charging leads (the same one you plug the AC charger into) to your CC and the common power wires to the inverter. |
funshyboi:Problem is I don't know how that Nairaland PM thingy works. I can assure you that whatever grey areas you may encounter will be addressed by the many eggheads here. |
Reinaldo:This does not affect goods, therefore it does not mean AE items will arrive faster than it has poorly been of recent. Cargo planes and vessels have always transited. |
Heitchtm:Currently use Zenith card. Have never used FirstBank. Used to be with GTB until they messed up few weeks ago. |
dapsyra:In support as well. If price is right, then investing in it might be wise And I see no reason why it shouldn't be cheaper than 2 units 380 watts. The total length of aluminium frame that will be used in the bigger one will be less than the smaller 380 watts. At least two length sizes will be saved. |
ades2016:Did you mean six dollars cost price for two terabytes flash drive? |
vicarsenal:Zenith was hitherto 391, but First bank is above 400 naira, around 432 naira sef. How can you not have a complaint about that? @ Heitchtm, First bank is like your Access bank, if not worse. So strike 'em outta your list. |
funshyboi:I guessed as much that this was the battery you were talking about. I didn't know these things are still being sold. Used to have it as part of a modular set up powering a 65 inch TV (set to maximum power saver which consumes 46 watts), a startimes decoder (4 watts), DC standing fan (15 watts) phone charging all on a 300 watts PSW inverter. With all those loads, by 11:30pm the battery still hangs at around 12.7v. Two of it paralled as a pack that is enclosed in those large PVC electrical casings. It was charged only by two units 150 watts panels connected in series to an MPPT charge controller. It reaches full voltage by 11:30am. I can't say how it performs now that it's had another owner for a while. So for your LG TV, put it on max energy saver. Get two units 150 watts monocrystalline (connected in series on a 20 amps or 30 amps MPPT controller OR parallel on a 20 amp PWM). Set the float voltages at 14.2v and hook the battery to a modest sized 300 watts (600 watts peak) pure sine wave inverter. You may still be able to subsist on a single 150 watts panel though, but don't expect miracles on days the sun is a little upset. The battery is on "different port BMS", so you should connect the charging wired to your CC and the power wires to the inverter. Your battery capacity is just around 32 AH at 12v, so don't expect all the backup hours I get on the 60 AH pack. |
semid4lyfe:Cancel the dispute. Then re-open again in 3 days with the same reasons as this. You will also need to upload screenshots of tracking on both 24track and 17track. Try to explain reasons they need to refund you and insist that your postmaster says your parcel did not arrive at their place. All these being done, just hope that that yèyé AE team will still rule in your favour. I have lost about three disputes back to back, all items shipped on AESS, within the last three weeks that I no longer have faith in their sanity to arbitrate in matters of trade dispute anymore. |
Drizzy5001:I guess it's because theirs are OLED screens, and also curved bezel-less edges. |
chris81964:Na wa o. That's an impressive performance from a 48v 105ah. I didn't hear you mention freezers or home entertainer systems in your device usages. I noticed you majored on the power guzzlers in the home. Just saying. |
Flytime:Maybe. I'll think of a swap with this 2.3. Or at most just get another straight away. I like keeping collections of my used phones. |
Flytime:I have a 2.3. The experience has been abysmal, coming from Windows platform and trying to still stay within the Nokia niche, even though I have this unrepentant dislike for Android, and have distate for the iPhone more. I just do not have a choice. I can't open more than 3 apps, especially moderately heavy ones. The moment you're opening the fourth one, the phone closes the previous three. I have several times caught the phone self-swipe close app once I launch a fourth one. When I did a system update about four months ago, WhatsApp suspended my account and I kept getting the response "your account has been suspended, please contact the WhatsApp team". I was able to unlock it 48hrs after an appeal. I guess the problem occured with the system update of the phone. Since after then, WhatsApp has to be kept open for messages to enter. A sharp contrast to what occurs before the update and even in a previous 3 yr old Nokia 5 that wify replaced a Xiaomi with. Once I launch WhatsApp, messages that have been sent to me since morning will start rushing in. I have enabled all sorts of background permissions for WhatsApp to trouble shoot this problem with no success. Many times when I launch the picture app and begin to swipe, the application crashes and I have to re-launch it again. If I have WhatsApp, picture app, a browser or calculator app open and I then launch the camera or any other app as a fourth app and try to swipe back to those previous apps, they are all "closed" and I will have to re-launch them all over again. There is a Xiaomi 5 whatever I got for wify almost two years ago that is capable of having 15 (fifteen) different apps opened in the background and you can always swipe to each one and continue from where you stopped, all smoothly and fluidly. I know I may be expecting too much from a 37k phone, but this is mediocre performance even at that 37k price point. I strongly believe that techno, infinix and other small market players will give better device for such amount. Having used a long line of great products in Nokia Symbian devices and Nokia windows Lumia devices, this is great disappointment and with this experience, I am seriously weary of commiting resource to acquiring more expensive products in the Nokia Android lineup. The Lumia phones work better than this Nokia 2.3 rubbish. I still have around the Lumia 1520, Lumia 640xl, Lumia 650 and even the cheap Lumias 520 and 430 to mention a few. They still work smoothly and fluidly but have to be retired because the windows mobile OS no longer enjoys the supports of most mainline apps like WhatsApp, zoom, etc. Apparently this HMD Global thingy is just producing mediocre products and riding on the glorious history of Nokia to sell their products. |
kemicalreact:If you're lucky, like 3 in 10 cases, you may pass without being charged a kobo, but if not it may cost you an arm and a leg ![]() |
Mofolam:Long throat ![]() AE don job una. You think say dem fit just dash you 7usd like that? ![]() |
Reinaldo:Bro, abeg you fit help us check na. Na hinterland me I dey. Just tell dem say you dey represent Association of Expectant buyers from AE (AEAE). ![]() |
durodee:Sorry, I didn't get the message you quoted but I assume it's the one about the orbit fan. Pre-dollar wàhálà, I got it for 12k. The vendor is Justcallmenuel. He's a regular on this thread. |
kadorzy:Thanks. What's approximate size of the room d'you use it for? |

FrustratedMonk: ![]() Earthrealm said his works just fine. This one we are getting different reviews. Na wa o. |
genius43:Okay, make my mind come down small. Maybe na typo. Perhaps he intended to type 392 instead of 391. |
prestige2013: So GTB use style to go reset their system exchange rate during those times they shut guys out on AliExpress.Omo, e don dey red o. |
amadika:Or even after the waiting and NIPOST still messed up with their logistics or worst still the seller did not even ship it but because of the irregularity in AE dispute arbitration of late, the seller capitalized on that and gives a misleading tracking number? Omo, the back to back disputes that I lost in recent times is making me to reconsider using DHL or 3rd party shippers, if I'm lucky to meet reasonable ones, for my next expensive orders. Till then, I restrict myself to shikini money orders. |
