Hello there. I am proponent of individualism.. We all need to clear our heads sometimes.. But check this out...

She was in school.. We don't get to see in months.

I think i was too perfect for her.. So i just upgraded.
A chef, a guitarist, poet, funny, humor, working class.

My only fault is,... I dont double date.. I think a single relationship is more than enough.

I told her I don't like drama Queens. And funny enough I asked..

How long would u need, baby?

She replied, " I don't know".
Yeah Bro. Kick her to the curbs and move on.
I love ladies that are really feminine, knowing when to use their body language perfectly, not all those drama queens that will keep sulking all day long and expecting you to running helter skelter and reading her mind to know what she wants as if you're a psychiatrist

Nice one Bro.
Please can you provide more info on both the debt and equity components of these budgets. That will give a clearer picture of each Governor's mindset.
I am particularly wary of Cross Rivers huge budget, a state that is almost broke with less revenue projections, having lost most of their oil wells, need to be watched.
Same with Aregbesola and some other heavily indebted states.
Meanwhile I think it is time for Nigerians to start presenting people with track records in Entrepreneuring and practical business management for governance.
The days ahead is for creative people that can see beyond going to Abuja to collect FAAC.

PoliticsRe: Why We Attacked Zakzaky, Other Shiite Members – Nigerian Army by cecegorz(m): 10:47am On Dec 14, 2015
dayo23:
The Nigerian Army on Saturday stated its reason for attacking members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria.
The Army had on Saturday said the group blocked the road and attempted to kill the Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, in Kaduna State.
In a statement on Sunday by its spokesperson, Sani Usman, the Army described the incident as ‘most unfortunate’ but blamed the sect for blocking roads meant for the public.
“Yesterday’s incident involving clashes between detachments of the Nigerian Army, accompanying the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General TY Buratai and followers of Sheikh Ibrahim El Zak-Zaky, suspected to be members of the Shiite Sect in Zaria, leading to loss of lives as a result of the Shiite group members’ blocking roads and not allowing other passers-by to go about their lawful businesses and activities, was most unfortunate,” Mr. Usman, a Colonel, said.
“The Nigerian Constitution guarantees the rights of any group of persons and Sheikh El Zak Zaky’s followers to hold a peaceful march or procession unhindered, but it also guarantees other people’s rights of way on public highways. It is important to note that over the years this group has subjected ordinary citizens using public roads to untold hardship, delays, threats and disruption simply because they insist on using public space irrespective of inconvenience and hardship on other law abiding citizens and motorists.
This cannot be tolerated and must stop!
“As soon as order is restored to the situation in Zaria city and its environs, the police will conduct an enquiry and the public will be informed.
“In the meantime, the public is advised to go about their lawful business and report any suspicious persons or incidents to the police,” the Nigerian Army said.
Mr. Usman did not give details of the various attacks or whether Mr. Zakzaky had been arrested or not.
The Islamic Movement has said its members were unarmed and that soldiers attacked its members in three different parts of Kaduna including Mr. Zakzaky’s home.
The Shiite group said the son and wife of Mr. Zakzaky were among ‘hundreds’ of its members killed by the soldiers.

http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/195138-why-we-attacked-zakzaky-other-shiite-members-nigerian-army.html
Oh dear! These reasons by the army is absolutely not convincing at all.
That their processions cause delays in traffic is unpleasant but does that warrant killing them off?
Please come over to Lagos this weekend and I will take you around to streets that will be completely shut down because of Owambe parties, I've never heard of any body being arrested, not to talk of killing by the army.
Nigerians lives MUST be made to matter to the extent that NOBODY is allowed to kill extra-judiciary for any reason whatsoever, except of course the victims had opened fire themselves, then self-defence can come into play.

I must say that I'm not impressed a bit by this submission from the NA.

Shiite Muslims have really suffered in the hands of
Sunni Muslims. Boko haram is against them, ISIS is
against them, Nigerian army is against them. I
don't know why most Muslims are intolerant. Shiite
is the most peaceful sect of Muslims. Just that
Sunni detest most of their rituals and traditions like
honouring the death, cursing Aisha and others. But
then Christianity have many divisions who have
contradicting belief and yet are tolerant of each
other. If I wanted to be a Muslim, I will go for the
Shiite cos they are very peaceful. Boko haram is
Sunni, ISIS - Sunni, all other Islamic militant group
are Sunni too.
Thanks for this clarification. I've always wondered what's these Sunni and Shite ?
Since the shites are very peaceful, how come Zakzaky''s followers are armed, to the extent of always having gun battles with the army?

CultureRe: The Igbo And Culture Of Apprenticeship by cecegorz(m):
omonnakoda:
There is nothing uniquely Ibo about apprenticeship .Generally you have apprenticeships among traders and also craftsmen followng different traditions. Trading is common in Men among the Hausas and some Ibo groups while among the Yoruba trading is done mostly by women. Not all Ibo groups are traders.
Hausas trade in foreign exchange, gold, agricultural products to name a few. They too have experience of travelling with large quantities of cash across West Africa for generations.
Apprenticeship is the model used by many Yoruba craftsmen to learn their trade whether as building contractors, mechanics, tailors, fabricators of metals( local machinery truck bodies etc). This also operates among Hausas who are a large body of mechanics servicing the heavy goods trucks in Sagamu and Ibadan.
The notable issue here in this Ibo apprenticeship is this model of serving for a term and then being rewarded afterwards. The biblical story of Jacob and Rebecca comes to mind.He was asked to serve for 7 years for his bride but on completion he was given Leah the older sister because the "older must marry first" and so had to serve another 7 years for his true love. Human beings are human beings and will always try to cheat and lie if they can get away with it. We have heard so many Rebecca stories.
What is important is we are not sold this idea that somehow buying and selling is all there is to business or is the best thing a young person can or should be doing with his life.
I remain critical of the Ibo mindset of buying and selling and crying for a sea port because there is no development no moving to the next level,no manufacturing vision. No major economy has so many traders.Ultimately we need big consolidated trading companies that can negotiate with manufacturers as equals ,negotiate better deals and deliver quality to consumers. As things are most Ibo traders are not in a position to replace defective manufactured goods and this creates reputational problems often unfairly. That is the vision we need ,Nigerian Shoprites and so on in every sector from pharmaceutics, grocery, spare parts etc How is this integrated with modern technology such as the internet etc. A model where 1000 small players are each bringing in one container a month is outdated. That is the real threat to Ibo traders in the future and a challenge to Nigeria

More and more apprenticeships will not lead us anywhere as a nation. That is not a 21st century doing business. If we do not wake up we will only succumb to the Shoprites and Walmarts of the world.

The narrative of £20 somehow had to find its way into the story.Another opportunity for self affirmation.Okay.but that was then and this is now. We all want to buy quality good with our phones and have them delivered to our homes and if there are problems we want good customer service. Those are the NEW SKILLS any 21st century business needs not just buying and selling
The problem with people like you is that you'll rather be blinded by prejudice instead of seeing clearly the merits in a people's practice.
The writer was trying to show how a whole generation of people, deliberately pauperized by a wicked economic state policy, were able to lift a massive number out of debilitating poverty within a very short span.
Let me reproduce an extract here again...
"Many of the rich men in Igbo land like Mr Innocent Chukwuma of Innoson Motors, Mr Cosmas Maduka of Coscharis Motors, Chief Chidi Anyaegbu of Chisco Motors, Chief Alex Chika Okafor of A-Z Petroleum/Chicason Group, etc, went through this apprenticeship scheme. Many of today’s rich Igbo men came from very poor families. This apprenticeship scheme gave them the foothold to rise to wealth, for their parents would have not been able to pay their school fees or give them the money required to start a business that has prospect."

All the people he quoted above had since gone into big time manufacturing, and many more that were not mentioned by the writer. The Dangote you mentioned was handed down a cheque by his grand fatther, the same grand fathers transfer of wealth that these deprived men could not benefit from, because their grand fathers wealth had been confiscated by the Nigerian government and used to fund development in other regions of Nigeria.
Go and read 'The Jewish Phenomenon' by Steven Silbiger, he analysed how the Jews used the same principle of apprenticeship to set themselves up in New York after they ran away from Europe due to anti-semitic persecutions. Today, those small traders in New York and their newer generations owns the biggest law firms, tech companies, media empires, hollywood etc.

The stupidity of Nigerian leaders, by looting our common wealth and refusing to invest in critical infrastructure, is the ONLY reason why many more Igbo businessmen or other Nigerians for that matter, had not gone into manufacturing, not because they don't know the value in manufacturing.

I was young when Berec batteries, Dunlop tyres, Volkswagen, etc.. were being manufactured in Nigeria, where are they today?
By the way, which manufacturing company do you own currently?

CareerRe: Is It Advisable To "INSULT" Your Wicked Boss When Quitting? by cecegorz(m): 2:30pm On Dec 04, 2015
Oooops:
Nairalander's, Please help share your views.

You have been enduring your boss who has been feeling on top of the world using you as house boy and maltreating the heck outa you, and you finally got this dream job. Is it right to state how wicked he has been and outrightly but maturedly insult him in your resignation letterhuh

The feeling of just quitting without him knowing the pains you went through doesn't make sense to me! You sitdown think am too na!!!
I think your reaction should be situational.
1. My advise is that if you still have any chance of working with the baga in the future, let the issue slide because he might still be your boss tomorrow (e.g Imagine insulting your boss at MTN because you're moving to Glo, then after two years the same guy comes over to Glo as your Boss again, you can bet your career will be on a permanent pulse till God intervenes)
NB: If you work in the corporate world, whenever you resign, always craft a very beautiful goodbye note, no matter how bad you were treated, this is because you will always need a referral from the company in your new place, and your boss may still be your boss in a new company.

2. If you are sure you won't encounter the guy in any way again as your boss, In fact, you can even give him a dirty slap if you can withstand him in physical combat (e.g if the baga is a one-man business owner of say, Chudi couriers, who enslaved you for years as his logistics manager, until you get that offer letter from NLNG, you see, God has separated your paths for life and you can afford to tell him off)

I actually had same experience with my first boss after NYSC, the baga never paid my salary until towards the end of the next month, and even at that he'll only give me a small portion of the paltry monthly pay.
The day my big offer letter landed men... I confronted him with all his sins, told him off and walked away like a boss!
I've never set eyes on him for almost 10years, and I can buy his entire company with one cheque if I see him now.

pls i need help with resolving this battery drain problem i have been experiencing for a while now. I do not know if its d battery that is small for d engine. in the past i have noticed d battery of the car (2006 toyota rav4) running down down after like 3 days but wen i switch d battery to the 2001 camry it works. i also noticed after charging the battery for just like 3 hours or so... it works perfectly without problem until another few days away when it runs down again and i have to charge it. pls help... what could possibly be the problem? and how can i resolve it?
Check if there is any electronic unit that is left ON when you switch off the engine. That could be the culprit.
Just this Sunday, as I left church to drive home, I discovered my battery was flat. Then one of the guards came to inform me that he noticed my headlamp was ON after I packed, and he couldn't reach me to switch it OFF.
Fortunately one of my friends had a jumper cable and we used his car battery to boost mine

The ArchBishop of Enugu Ecclesiastical Province of the Anglican Communion, Most Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Chukwuma, on Friday in Agbani, Enugu State dropped a bombshell as he warned of a powerful demon dwelling at the Enugu State Government House.

DAILY POST reports that the ArchBishop spoke at the burial ceremony of a former First Lady of Enugu State, Nnenna Agnes Nnamani.

Chukwuma, who cautioned the Enugu State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi against moving to the Government House, said plans should be made to demolish the government house or exorcise the demon inhabiting the Government House.

Nnenna is the wife of a former Enugu Governor, Senator Chimaroke Nnamani.

While your situation sounds embarrassingly hilarious, it is no way compared to depression.

Good enough you did not talk about any consequences you suffered on the job because of the blip. You couldn't have thought of suicide just because the whole world listened in on your little secrets.

Depression and thoughts of suicide would have creeped in, if as a result of that incidence, you were terminated on the job with no benefit, and with no prospect of getting a complementary offer, while you are neck deep in car loan, mortgage loan, and all kinds of debts.

If you are looking for easy this, easy that, I'm not sure you can do anything in these spaces.
The two poster persons for these two options in Nigeria today are; Seun- forum, and Linda- blog. Both started about the same time - 2005/2006, none of them made any money until around 2010.
Your skills, experience and personality should also be your guide; Seun, being an introvert nerd is obviously well suited for a forum, just stay in the background and enjoy your coding while people publish whatever catches their fancy.
Linda being an outgoing person who previously tried publishing fashion/celebrity magazine with an unfulfilled desire to become a journalist, finds it easier blogging, putting herself and family in the public glare, gossiping about people and breaking news, all by herself.

Over all, sit down and do a SWOT analysis on yourself, and then understand that it will take quality effort and time for the numbers to start rolling in.

Hahahahaaaa...

Benchmark lending rate at 11% doesn't mean the commercial rate for customers.
The least customers may get will be around 13% as against the current 18%.
It's not much but it's a welcome development.
But to really stimulate the economy, we need to push for single digit commercial rates.
Also, Tbills rate has since gone down to single digit.

What is the impact on average Nigerians suffering in the street. Hope is not another politics of deceit.

11% indeed!!!!.

9ja go better no matter what.
It's a mixed bag.
MPR reduction from 13% to 11% ordinarily means banks will get their funding at a cheaper rate and consequently lend at lower rates to customer too - ceteris paribus, like the economists say. But that's as simple as it gets.
Currently, most banks loan book is bursting at the seems, so many non-performing loans in the hands of customers who can't pay back mostly because the economy is on a downward spin, businesses are failing and some are closing shop.
It then goes that if banks has so much funds out there that are not being repaid already, they will be unwilling to lend further to avoid more bad loans.
On the other hand, you also need money to stimulate a drowning economy. So with CRR down from 25% to 20%, it means extra liquidity for the banks, and some with greater risk appetite may still stick out their necks and lend to some specific markets.
So if the banks can consequently open the taps, 'the average Nigerian suffering in the streets' will get some extra cash to hold body.

Let me weigh in on this.
This is just your own side of the story, and we are yet to hear from the buyer.
You have admitted that because of non-disclosure of some certain information, the buyer has had to cough out extra 4million to add to the original 35million as agreed.
Having seen that the buyer is using mortgage option, probably at the rate of up to 20% interest rate, you can see that he already acquired extra-budgetary burden on himself. No buyer will be happy with this kind of situation.
As an Agent, it is part of your responsibility to thoroughly research, and educate your client on all the likely fees and charges that will be expected on any property, and if I'm the buyer, I definitely will not find it funny having to expend extra 4m.
My advice is that you have to use soft negotiation to follow the guy and see if he can at least give you up to 1m, that will be a win-win situation.
