Nwanne see another format.

Guymen have collected their contract fees, delivered on their kangaroo protest and disappeared before OYC discovered the game.

I still believe that security operatives should always arrest leaders of any protest group (unless they are well known prominent Nigerians), take their profiles, mug shots and finger prints and then release them, because those information will always be needed in the future.

Now, how do you locate these criminals that claimed to be OYC ?

Why obstruct traffic to pray though huh

I mean, you can move to the grassy area and pray comfortably while road users also use the road comfortably.

I really don't get that undecided
You ain't seen nothing yet.
When I was posted to the North for NYSC was when I had a shocking experience with these folks. We were travelling in the middle of deserted expressway, and all of a sudden, the driver pulled over, and without uttering a word, went out and after a while I looked around and seemed to be the only perplexed one in the bus, I asked what's going on and they said, oh, the dude went to pray. Whaaaat? without even excusing himself?

I was shocked! Just like that? What if robbers attack the bus while he left us there?

The fact is that with what the way Islamists are gaining ascendancy in the Middle East, there are palpable fears in the US that these bad guys can make a return to bombing America and as such they need a die hard Christian conservative to defend America.
Obama's claim to Christianity is in serious doubt today because of the way he prevaricated in the Syrian issue, which should have been nipped in the board earlier before the massive rise of ISIS.
As it stands now, Carson has told the old generation Americans what they really want to hear and that has boosted his popularity.

Gran imperio continues their fraud.
From august 2014 to december 2014, april 2015, july 2015, august 2015....promised delivery dates that have all failed. Now they cant even bother with a delivery date. this is the current mail received
"Dear Esteemed Subscribers,

We thank you for investing in EssentialHomes and for your commitment so far towards the development of the Estate.

We would like use this medium to apologize for the delay in the delivery of your unit.

We have noted your displeasure with the pace of work at site, recurrent change in the delivery dates and lack of communication but we appeal to you to accept our apologies as steps have been put in place to improve the pace of work at site henceforth.

We wish you and your family a happy Ramadan celebration."

Meanwhile, they are selling three more estates.. invest at your peril.
I think Gran Imperio is operating with Lekki Gardens format. Keep selling new estates while you can't even deliver for the earlier subscribers.
The best bet for anybody doing business with any of these developers is to get a good property lawyer from the beginning, and have all the terms and conditions stipulated, including penalties on default.

Op now you wanna make me cry once again.

Back in the days when NOKIA was the king and leader in early smart phones, I lost my newly purchased NOKIA N72 through one of these formarts- The familiar face grabbing.
It happened at the UBA car park, Marina on that unfateful Saturday morning.
By the time I realized what happened, the guy has disappeared into the crowd.

Anyway, I was much younger and naive to the prank, then.
The painful part was that while the N72 was in my hip pocket, I had a starcoms phone in my hands, I wished it was the other way round, so they'll have picked the starcomms.

Big lesson I learned from that day- Never leave your wallet/Phone in your trouser pockets while walking on the street, always hold them in your hands!

Well, in my understanding, Expats are usually skilled professionals brought in (usually legally) by Companies and these ones often return to their home country as soon as they lose interest in the new environment while Immigrants are skilled workers that came in by themselves, legally or illegally for greener pastures.
On the other hand, migrants are hustlers- no skill, no education, sometimes criminally minded who are coming in because of hunger and deprivation from their home countries

In his remark, the Borno State Governor, Alh. Kashim Shettima called for prompt sustainable development programmes in the northern states.

[quote]Shetima said the governors had agreed to. Work together to redevelopment the region.

The governor urged federal government to develop an all inclusive development plan to really address all challenges of the state and restore peoples’ hopes.

“A comprehensive master plan that will help re-integrate the people and seek entire development of the northern Nigeria should be designed,” Shettima added.

The above really got me cracking.
A state governor is begging the fed govt for a master plan in developing Northern Nigeria. Is there any master plan to develop Southern Nigeria?

Anyway, My advice to Nothern governors is to proscribe almajiris education with immediate effect. Enforce primary to JS3 compulsory education in the region and let us see if their lot will not be far better in 10 yrs time

Imagine this volume of capital flight!
I am yet to see the logic behind this CBN's policy of turning back depositors of FX from our banks.
That they caught this guy means that several billions of Fx has already been successfully traficked out of the country, and more will still be moved out in hard cold cash!
Why not let the banks accept these deposits with a caveat to report a certain threshold, which is even already in practice. At least we have the money here and can genuinely trace the depositors if there's need for investigation.
This policy sounds like cutting off one's nose to spite the face.
Can somebody tell me any stronger reason for this madness?

Instead its the "genetically created" fruits with harmful metals and chemicals Nigeria imports...

Haven't you noticed that cancer is increasing in Nigeria..
Chill bro.
I am not even talking about food preservation here, so forget your cancer-related issues.
Do you know that with top notch logistics in place, you can harvest fresh fruits in Nigeria today, and have them in London grocery shops, first thing in the morning tomorrow.
Let's face the real deal, Large scale Agric business is beyond market women operations, you don't expect Shoprite manager to carry basket and enter Ekiti or Oyo village looking for bananas to buy. Somebody has to get these things from the local producers, package and label them as necessary, then transport them in a refrigerated truck straight to the shops within specified hours, and be willing to do that consistently!
These things takes proper capacity, not by subsistence farming.
Personally, Apart from kiwis, pomegranates, apples and plums which we don't grow locally, I will never buy bananas or water melon in a shop when I have them in abundance from local producers on the streets.

See the fruits I saw at shoprite today in Ibadan. Dey swear for us? While water melon and bananas rot away in many farms in Nigeria... So sad.
For all the zombies shouting that Buhari has been doing well without having cabinet ministers, and so it does not matter.
This is where it matters that you have a minister in charge of finance, trade and Investments because this sort of situation requires a strong fiscal policy that will shift this trade in favour of our local farmers.

That aside, I remember that in one of the sessions at Ogun state economic forum last year, Agro-products financing, packaging and export was discussed with a former president of Mexico, Vincent Fox, former PDP chairman, Audu Ogbe, Ndidi Nwuneli, and the Songhai farms CEO were the panelists.
One of the key things I learned there is that most of our Agro-products doesn't meet the International standard due to issues bordering on proper storage, packaging, and timely delivery. If Akinwumi's work didn't take cognizance of these critical issues, he may have just succeeded as Agric minister by just proliferating subsistence farmers that has no capacity to compete in the international business.

Shoprite is a for-profit business and as such will go to any length and breadth of the world to source for products that will help them maximize profit unless you have a way to restrict them

Fighting corruption is one of the hardest things to do especially when you are new into the system.
People are just 'antagonising' PMB administration for nothing without taking certain things into consideration
1. He's new into the system and due to the reluctant of the last administration to deliver handover note to the administration is also key to the slow start
2. And to fight corruption you need strong fact and evidence so as not to waste public fund on unrealistic cases. I think that's one of the major reasons why we ain't hearing much this time
3. Our major source of income generation has dropped over 400% so he has to make use of the little we are generating. It's hard time for the FG at this time, so let's be patient.
4. Before now, the federal character has being followed but it has failed us tremendously because the person who is appointing don't even know his appointees too well. If you become Ng president today and you want to honestly appoint some key appointments and you want honest people and (for instance) you being residing in SW since birth, you are most likely going to appoint more people in the SW cux u don't people in other zones except they are recommending them to you.

Thank God they are expecting much from the President now. We were not expecting anything from the Ex President, that's POSITIVE
The emboldened is the reason why you are better off as your village baale, and not contesting for a post outside your enclave.
Before you put out yourself to be the President of a multi-ethnic, multi cultural and a diverse entity like Nigeria, you must have gone out of your way to get acquainted with all the regions in depth. Besides you have a party structure through which you won elections in all the various wards and local governments of the entire country.
You can't excuse little-mindedness

The Fight

For much of the afternoon, she fought with me. Given what my investigation was trying to uncover, and in light of my recent actions—even though they were "allowed" actions based on what we had discussed—I felt I had nothing to stand on. I tried to explain that I didn't do anything, but she wasn't buying it. After three hours of not speaking to me, it became clear what was really bothering her when she told me emphatically: "You know, Charles, it's amazing. I don't care about your 'date'. And for all I care, you could have slept with her. But tell me this: When was the last time you took time out of your day and took me to lunch for no reason?"

A Revelation

Her statement to me was an eye-opener, and in polling 250+ women in the days that followed, I reached an important understanding. When an adulterous man is found out, there are many, many women that can get past the sex act itself. But the real problem is where his effort has been going. As his wife sits idle, being supportive, holding down her half of the relationship, house, kids, etc., a cheating man will put boat loads of effort into seducing the other woman: four-star restaurants and hotels, gifts, laughter, spontaneity, passion, sex.

From there, it's a sad realization for his wife that translates to "I'm not worth the effort." This is a fatal blow to her self-esteem and self-worth, and terminal to the relationship. My wife and I got past it, but I had to relent to the fact that I hadn't done those things for her recently… and it wasn't purposeful, it was a mirror into my own accidental complacently (and I'm supposed to be an expert!!!). It's not that I take her for granted. But in acting like a cheater, I had fallen into my own trap. Accidentally? Perhaps, but does it matter? Isn't the end result the same?

With all my experience and expertise, I keep learning.

On October 2, 2014, one Aliyu Gwarzo said the following to Pointblanknews:

“When I say that the Presidency must come to the north next year I am referring to the Hausa-Fulani core north and not any northern christian or minority tribe. The Christians in the north are nothing and the minorities know that when we are talking about leadership in the north and in Nigeria, Allah has given it to us, the Hausa-Fulani. They owe us everything. This is because we gave them Islam through the great Jihad waged by Sheik Usman Dan Fodio. We liberated all these places and all these people by imposing islam on them by force. It was either the Koran or the sword and most of them chose the Koran. In return for the good works of our forefathers Allah, through the British, gave us Nigeria to rule and to do with as we please. Since 1960 we have been doing that and we intend to continue. No Goodluck or anyone else will stop us from taking back our power next year. We will kill, maim, destroy and turn this country into Africa’s biggest war zone and refugee camp if they try it. Many say we are behind Boko Haram. My answer is what do you expect? We do not have economic power or intellectual power. All we have is political power and they want to take even that from us. If they don’t want an ISIS in Nigeria then they must give us back the Presidency and our political power. Their soldiers are killing our warriors and our people every day but mark this: even if it takes one hundred years we will have our revenge. Every Fulani man that they kill is a debt that will be repaid even if it takes 100 years. The Fulani have very long memories”.

So somebody said this publicly and we're still chasing shadows looking for how to end Boko Haram?
The bolded is a clear admittance to leadership and sponsorship of the lecherous terrorists gang.

FFK please tell us what the government you were part of did to this man after these treasonable statements.
Those statements are mind-boggling, and you wonder why APC Lagos connived with these people to achieve their whimsical objectives

I discovered from Google map that it's closer to go from Enugu than Calabar, due to the fact that it's located at the Northern tip of Cross Rivers. The Obudu itself has no commercial airport.
So instead of flying Abuja/Lagos to Calabar, one can just fly Abuja/Lagos to Enugu and save 2hours on the road trip.

Exactly what I was thinking. I've seen people spend lots of money chasing professional qualifications that they cannot back up with relevant experience.
It's crazy, even some confused people on the interview panel help to spread these lies.
Unless a fresh graduate is sure that his career path is aligned toward IT, then go ahead and get the certifications. Even at that, there is also need to focus on a clear path for a start; Networking, Programming/web design, DBA, or Multi-media graphics/animations. Stay on one of these lanes as a starter, along the line, with experience you can decide to diversify, which is understandable because sometimes as you grow in your career path, your passion changes.
For those folks that have nothing to do with IT as a career, save your energy from pursuing IT certifications. Rather focus on soft skills like emotional intelligence and effective communications.
I recommend Stephen Covey's '7 Habits of Highly successful people' as a must-read for every graduate that wants to get ahead in life.

While the idea of going beyond the letters taught in the University can never be over-emphasized, I do not agree with your assertion that one has to acquire technical IT skills to be termed 'computer literate', that will be going for an over-kill.
With a real practical skills in MS Office suite, and may be some desktop graphic design tools, one is fully computer literate.

Now, for your candidate on the interview line whose degree is in Computer science, that is understandable, in fact, it is unforgivable for him not to be proficient in advanced technical skills, with one or two certifications to boot, but for every other class of job seekers who necessarily do not have any need for these advanced skills, it is a complete waste of money, and I am talking with experience.
Let's say for example, one aspiring for the job of a sales executive, customer service, medical representative, and the likes, what exactly will he do with skills in advanced programing and Data Base management on the job?
