Well, it's not new to me.. In my hometown, pythons aren't killed. It used to be common to find pythons wrapped around babies back then when mud houses were used. As recently as two years ago, a lady was bitten by a python as she mistakenly stepped on it in her compound but she DARED not kill it. It was pampered back to the wild.
