I will do it under two circumstances: 1. If I am 100% sure that he can do the same for me. 2. If he is a multi millionaire. |
more honest than the average southerner. |
@kobojunkie, you just like to argue sha. autopsy have declared it to be a murder. which 'irrefutable proof' are you looking for again? |
The new site is not the problem. The issue is that NL is now a battle ground for blind hatred, nauseating feudalism and distasteful ethnic jingoism. It is ruining every single discussion topic raised here and putting off decent and balanced folks who would ordinarily be inclined to contribute robustly and intelligently in the past. Sadly, NL is now more of a jungle than a forum to discuss even semi-intelligently with others.what do you expect when even the moderators (esp in politics section) participate in it. they won't post but they grant favors to tribalistic members of their tribe. The only way to reduce the ethnic issues is to establish Nairaland as a NIGERIAN website rather than one for micro nationalism and secessionist banter. These folks have virtually taken over the politics section and it truly is nauseating. also, I think Seun should become a bit more directly involved rather than giving moderators too much power. |
black folks are so stupid. the most backward race in human history. you've got ppl like the Whites, Jews, Asians, Indians etc keeping their communities wealthier and stronger generation after generation. why can't we do that? as soon as one black person becomes successful, the first thing he does is either to squander it or to transfer his wealth to a second generation of mullatoes. who then transfer it to a third generation of whites. that success disappears right there!! some things are very clear and visible to the far sighted, ie when you look beyond immediate gratification.you nailed it. this is the root of our problem. in fact in order to be successful at anything one needs to be disciplined and future oriented rather than always seeking immediate self-gratification. |
yes. there is nothing wrong with it. |
nene1, I feel you. take a look at this video below for example. I don't know whether to classify it as a tragedy or comedy. especially the part where the commentator says: "majority of ndi-ibo in finland are married to the irresistibly beautiful blond and blue-eyed Finnish ladies" and then they show pictures of fat ugly white women in the background.lol Well, I thank God I'm not Ibo sha. The reason why most people on nairaland blame the north is because northerners are not here to represent and defend themselves. They are more connected to Arab civilization than to the English civilization. point is: most southern Nigerians are very ignorant when it comes to northerners and northern matters. Ignorance is NOT bliss. and yes, I agree that all tribes in Nigeria are guilty as charged. no tribe is spotless or free of corruption. |
If you were in a country like the United States, the parents could get arrested for child neglect. Why would you leave paracetamol and other drugs within a 3 year old's reach? And then blame the child for being an 'addict'? what in the world ![]() I just hope you realize the consequences these drugs will have on the child's mental and physical development. and I also hope you are feeding him properly with enough nutrients. because his behavior could be a sign that you are not feeding him properly. The adults in this house need to wake up their responsibility. Get a cabinet and lock up all medicines. Spank the kid when he tries to get the drugs without supervision or authorization. If he loves bitter things to chew, there are a whole lot of healthful bitter 'snacks' you can get for him. Bitter kola, Ube, even original native chewing stick.thank you. even if you leave petrol within a child's reach. he will put it in his mouth. that's what children do. What kind of parents will allow stuff like that? it is the adult's responsibility to make sure the child is in a safe environment. |
eat more fruits and vegetables |
talking about comparative advantage and healthcare, I think this thread may benefit from learning a bit about Cuba. Cuba developed their healthcare system to attain one of the highest standard in the world but the US tried to destroy it because it felt threatened. even India currently is facing trouble from the US because India produces medicine more cheaply and therefore poses a threat to the US pharmaceutical industry. yea we can develop our "comparative advantage" but know that other more developed countries will destroy you if they see you as a threat to their own industries and developments. I think we should worry more about serving our people first before thinking of exporting our services. Let's try to reach a level of self sustenance first. ie provide good quality health care to Nigerians first before thinking of trying to go provide health care for more developed countries. |
Wereh kpe: What I know is Ijaw are the 4th largest in Nigeria. But they extend ALL along the coast of Nigeria. From Bayelsa down to Okitipupa in Ondo State. Truly dem many. They may have ONLY 1 state and thats becus they have an extremely low percentage of educated/literate people. Simply say they have been marginalized. BUT THEY PLENTY TRUE TRUEInteresting. Good to know. |
Dudu_Negro:even if you don't have a dictionary, you have access to "google search" through a computer. you are not a primary school student. |
![]() post-colonial African leaders has been a disgusting assortment of military coconut-heads, Swiss bank socialists, crocodile liberators, quack revolutionaries and briefcase bandits. -- Ayittey |

EzeUche:Jonathan is not that stupid. only a fool thinking with his stomach and ego, rather than his brain, will think along those lines. el rufai is delusional |
Kwara people are no less outraged. Justice Mustapha Akanbi, a retired President of the Court of Appeal, who hails from Ilorin, would not contemplate the break-up of Nigeria. He described whoever is thinking of Nigeria’s disintegration as an enemy of the people and the African continent.AMEN. this is a note to similar "mouth pieces" on nairaland (only truth etc). who claim to be speaking on behalf of their ethnic group instead of sharing their personal opinion as just that-- personal opinion!! |
Beaf:don't bring your input into matters you know nothing about. 'Oba' is traditionally a pagan title. 'emir' is a muslim one. |
silly topic |

Why are they waiting for a savior instead of starting to work on the problem. doesn't any one of those people in attendance have a vision? The solution starts with you, not with a Awolowo reincarnate. That will never happen. Even Awolowo could not have accomplished anything if nobody supported or helped to implement his vision. |
stale news. they've been fighting since he fell ill late last year. ![]() Ojukwu's own brother is fighting for his share too all I can say is that Dede is the true son of his father because Ojukwu himself also fought over his father's property many years back against his siblings. he used his "first son" entitlement right to get most of his late father's property. dede is just following in his footstep. he is the first son afterall. |
even maryland and houston's black doctor population shouldn't be up to 30% nigerian. and that's a very high estimate. |
It is supposed to be a "guys only" contest? If not, I sincerely hope you lose. |
6. subtract the year you were bornwhat a scam you just asked for Date of Birth! ![]() but this is a nice activity for little kids ages 8 and under. |
@OP, you might have hormonal problems. you mentioned (and I can see from your pics) that you have acne problems as well. these are all signs that your hormones might be imbalanced. You should try to pay a visit to an endocrinologist. |
