Yisraylite, I thought your religion would have something like this embedded ? : Col 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. Or since you believe so much in the Torah, you will probably get a ram to atone for your unkind words against your fellow human? |

Queshion: Is faith linked to intelligence? Answer: NO! Else all the great scientists we have ever had will decry God vehemently. On the oposite, they were actually very firm believers. Check out the factsd in history. Unless you want to say those guys are not intelligent and then i wil know that your grey matter has expired. |

Pastor AIO: Point! |
Religion / Re: Pastors Should Not Love Or Emphasize Money by cgift(m): 8:00pm On May 23, 2008 |
A simple question for Pastor AIO: Would you prefer that you remain poor (as a Christian) and always in want and depend on someone else who is an unbeliever? In all my studies of the scriptures i have not seen a place where is said i should lack. The bible is a whole book teaching you all the secrets of life including financial prosperity asides soul prosperity. Wisdom is the principal thing, the Bible says, in all thy getting, get understanding. How do you prosper in life without wisdom and the power to get wealth. That you are a christian does not mean that you automatically become a millionaire in financial terms. You must acquire knowledge and skills to be relevant and impact your world positively by meeting needs of all kinds. What then i the advantage of being a christain you might ask since i can always get all the knowledge and skills required to make it by being even an infidel? Well, i will answer you that asides the physical and spiritual benefits of direction, the guaranty of a place of rest is most important. I for one thank God for what impact i have been able to make in the lives of men financially by being their keeper. This is no boast or pride but it has made me seen the reason why i am blessed: to bless others and this my wife supports me generously in doing. I then imagine, how people (even christain brethren) would have made it through life in great difficulty at that point when they needed help most. So, i would prefer they teach me nuggets for wealth that is biblical whie still teaching me to stay focussed. Indeed, needs if not met can kill even a Pastor so, what is the glory in having not enough to bless others? |

Whenever i read from the likes of Ghaffaru et al, my heart skips because i know this is another terrorist in the making. I only pray that Jesus Chrost will preserve the lives of our brothers in Ilorin. My heart goes tothose who have lost someone in the volatile (Isl'amic) parts of Nigeria. I just wonder why emotions prevails over sense and judgment. |

When a man is chosen of God, let him deny His existence from now till tomorrow. when God finally gets set to catch the man, there is no hiding place. Leave all those who deny His existence, there are thousands of them that were once like that but when God dealt with them and sought after them, they knew it was a serious matter. Time will certainly tell. |

babs787: Honestly, it will help you strengthen your Christian faith when you start seeing some absurdities in the book and you immediately know the second day of reading it that its not worth the time cos 1) Their Qurihan authenticates the bible and asks the mooslims to consult us to verify their qurihan and if they are not sure of some things that MO, their prophet was telling them 2) it explicitly declares Jesus as the Messiah (though they deny that it is not for the whole world) 3) It also reveals that their book is not god-sent as it belittles intelligence and mocks scholarship. 1 Like |

babs787: see who is talking You probably seem to have forgotten the sayins of MO that were written on leaves and tree barks only for goats to cart them away or the ones written on bones and walls that rain swept away? So much for a complete book in the qurian. By the way, you point fingers at one book claiming its missing and refuse to acknowledge that your MO even gave way to Shaitan to allow Shaitan speak and document through him in the Satanic verses. Have you forgotten the three daughters of all'ah or simply playing oblivion? Your hide and seek game cannot work with me gentleman. Nevertheless, let me address your worries: Be gentlemanly enough to allow sleeping dogs lie. When i say i use the KJV, i mean every word of it cos i know the extent to which detractors went with sponsoring other variant versions and doctoring it to suite their purpose. NWT (New World transltion) for instance was sponsored and being used by the Jehovah Witnesses (we have a pile of issues against them cos were not in agreement). RSV and some others apart from the KJV have Catholic Stunts in them. So, some of us know what is happening and have decided to stay put with the KJV regardless of any human or typographical errors you might spot there in. Al the best my guy |

olabowale: Little wonder your history is empty and boring. Okay. Tell us Ismail's prophecies and let us see. What is then the correlation between the Moses and all other Prophets that Christians preach about today and your Ishmael? |
Religion / Re: The Gospel Of Barnabas(the True Forgotten Gospel) by cgift(m): 5:33pm On May 09, 2008 |
olabowale: Stinking drivels. Yet again you run away from the questions and charge of moral-bankruptcy filed against your prophet's plagiarism skills who could not even substantiate or was perhaps not proud of the heritage of Ishmael and his descendants and rather preferred to dwell on the heritage of the Jews he now curses through his blind followers. 4Him's hypocrisy charge against you fits you to a T. Do you care to tell us why you have no prophets, visioneers, a good history that your prophet could make reference to? Why stake claim on the Jewish prophets' calling and history? I trust that you will duck the question. For one thing, it exposes the fallacies of Islam and immediately portrays MO as a cheat who had no revelation which culminated in his inability to even defend his calling by giving four disparate and different accounts of his call each contradicting the other! O ma se o. |
Religion / Re: How To Detect False Prophets by cgift(m): 3:10pm On May 09, 2008 |
olabowale: At least we are all aware of the fact that all the prophets we all lay claim to today were Israelites whom we call Jews today. Further probing shows that they were descendants of Isaac whom you call Isiaq. Can you please list the prophets from the descent of Ishmael your origin? Do you have any Arab prophets that you mooslims can lay claim to? Why do you lay claim to the Jewish prophets whom today you now call apes, monkeys and pigs? Dont you sense a deep-seated hypocrisy in the demeanor of your prophet?

Religion / Re: How To Detect False Prophets by cgift(m): 5:14pm On May 08, 2008 |
olabowale:Bros, take it easy. read my post very well again. I never said Jesus was not a prophet. I said "He was not only a prophet" olabowale: Yes he was a human being, yet He knew the mind of God and gave full expression of the image of God. He said I and My Father are one! Anyways, there is no need wasting time on his divinity and oneness with God. You can never understand and i would not even try to make you understand. olabowale: That is why we do not refer to Abraham as a prophet as christians. We however refer to him as the friend of God. If you want to know the prophets, i think i will recommend Elijah, Elisha, Isaiah, and the likes. Not Abraham. Do you care to list Abrahamic prophecies in the Qurihan for us? olabowale: Keep consoling yourself. |
Religion / Re: How Best Can You Describe The Holy Trinity/Godhead by cgift(m): 12:44pm On May 08, 2008 |
babs787: We know the people behind the various confusing translations of the bible. We know their attempt to create divisions and confusion in the church of Christ. You will not know all these or perhaps you know but will deliberately conceal it and use it to advance your own argument. To anyone who is interested in knowing Christ through his words, the KJV is the way to go. So, start and end with the KJV that is my own base for a debate. |
