Frizy:Point of correction. Jesus is not only a prophet. The Bible and the Quran calls Him the Messiah! So what is this fuss about Him being a prophet. It is also unfortunate that you cant even understand what and who a prophet is according to your qu'ran. How do we identify a prophet if we do not have his prophecies. Why call Abraham and jo, etc prophets when you do not even have their prophecies in your book. This is delusional! A prophet tells you the mind of God and by virtue of the Holy Spirit of God is able to tell you very secret things you never knew any other persons would know except you. He can also tell you what plans God has for you and what to expect at a certain point in time in your life and you will be surprised things will just fall into place the way he has said it. Its one of the manifestations of the gift of the Holy Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit of God knows the mind of God and any person/thing that knows the mind of another must be one / same with that person. That is just taking you on an introduction to the mystery of the oneness of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost that has eluded you mooslims till now. So, bros, that you have refused to wake up to study and know more of the things of God happening in the church does not mean they are not real. You people have decided to remain in the dark in this age of revelation of of's knowledge. So revel in your darkness but never lay claim to what you dont know and have never experienced. Nice day! |
wendymanda:Wonders shall never cease! Imagine, someone said humans are still evolving. Lol! Imagine in this their "so-called" evolution, you wake up one morning and discover that your wife sleeping beside you had turned a monster overnight! You call in a scientist and the explanation is "evolution!" May i evn ask, what are humans evolving into and how many "billions" of years more? Funny people. ![]() |
OsunAmazon:See, Mr Osun, you omitted a case between Osun and Ogun . That will make an interesting debate dont you think? .Well, our differences makes the world better. We only need to manage it well but at times, you need to be sure what you are carrying/following makes sense. |
OLAADEGBU, fire on. You are the man. Let this people come and prove evolution and lets take them to the cleaners using their own claims. How can someone say that the world evolved? Ask him if the shoe he is wearing evolved as well? ![]() |
What does this have to do with anything? Where in the article does it say that the 'pentecostals' condone his behaviour?
Help me ask am o! ~Lady~, I like you so much o. But you no what, you dey jump too much. You get A1 for abusiology? You say i dey rant like woman wey dey under menstruation Kai, my wife must not hear this. ![]() Okay. You have docked all my attempt to make you publish your findings in the book i recommended for you to read, i.e., Dignity & Duties of the Priests? Care to discuss your findings? At least just break my assertion that Priests are permitted to fall(sin a-any kind) at most once in a month making 12 times in a year and it would be overlooked according to the teachings of St. Alphosus Liguori. You are yet to debunk my claim. Should i assume that it is the truth and nothing but the truth? If it is the truth, will that not rather support my line of argument all these while that the Priests in the Catholic Church be allowed to marry in other to reduce the pedophile tendencies and lawsuits running into billions of dollars? I hope i have asked mildly? Do you have the boldness to share it and give us what you think is the valid rationale for this "doctrinal" error passed down to your priests? Like i said earlier in one of my rebuttals, if you can refute my claim and diffuse my mind, i will stop posting anything against catholics on this and other forums. Hope it is a fair deal? |
Oh I do condemn it as does the Catholic Church. I am just amazed that the Protestants are not quick to condemn this man and others as they have done the Priests of the Catholic Church. Hypocricy at its finest. May God console the boys. Amen.
This your post is not enlightening at all. Thats why it beats my imagination that you claim you were ever in a protestant church! I am now beginning to believe you went there in search of something entirely different and not to know Christ at all while jumping from protestant church A to B and so on. Sorry if i offend you. Now tell me, who in your wildest dreams amongst the protestants will ever stand up for that gay pastor? Why just expose your insecurities by looking for a gap where there is none? You obviously dont understand protestantism as this your demeanor is clearly revealing. If anyone derides your catholic priests for reasons that are genuine, please accept it, take the lessons and move on with life being armed with the right knowledge. If i see that so-called pastor, i can almost slap him left to my natural self but can only pray for him considering that the devil is already at him. SO my dear, it is not a war for supremacy or the most "chaste" or perfect church we are engaging on this forum, it is a case of truth of the scriptures you people claim you have canonized versus the bland error of the Vatican authorities. Even if a sinner points your error to you, gladly accept it and move on rather than put up an excuse that you cant allow a sinner to correct you. Do you care to put your spiritual priorities right as against a blind defense for error and heresies? |
Carlosein, Happy birthday o! Viee, i dey miss you o jare. Where my Obia-geli, nuju, orah ? Just to say hi to you guys in the house. Regards.Oby1:i will embrace her if i see her my sister. ![]() |

Pastor AIO:did you say heretic? i no sabi o. I no be catholic pope to dey label someone as heretic anathema (grammar!) . |
I was a protestant and attended just about every church out there and found them discriminatory or confused and very bashful.
Unfortunately you may have been blind to the lessons you were supposed to get while still a protestant. You talk about discrimination, glad to let you know that the RCC is the most culprit knowing their history during the Inquisition you know. Even the "Protestants" you call us, is it not the discrimination birthed by the RCC? Bashing is relative. Words of correction and expositions will always sound bashful as people naturally get defensive even in the face of small disparaging views. ~Lady~, i know you and if my prediction is right, i should expect a very bitter vitriol from you in rebuttals. Like i said to you earlier , i wont look at your rantings (if you take that approach again this time) but focus on the issues. I hope i have not spoilt someone's day by intruding? Apologies if i have.Cheers! |
Pastor AIO:Pastor AIO, where did you study your own theology? ![]() |
SENATOR JD:kochi, con clear your name first before you begin dissect false teachers o! ![]() |
4 Him:You guys are just killing the guy's morale. Its not fair o ? |
1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. There is just no point explaining what the Bible itself calls a mystery to minds not renewed by the blood. 1Ti 3:16 says , And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. To all who have tried to give a valid explanations, well, you have tried but these guys will never understand it. It has not being given to them. |
hahaha, no. The queen of heaven that is being spoken of is a goddess that is worshipped. If your insinuating that this is Mary, your wrong. She is never worshipped but honoured for being the ark of the covenant. No incense is burnt to her. Don't forget that Zezhariah the father of John the Baptist was a priest and he also burnt incense. Luke 1:9 Are you insinutating that he was burning incense to Mary? The use of incense can be found mentioned in many scriptures in the Bible as a way to pay homage to God. It is used today in ceremonies not only as a method of blessing, but also to encourage meditation and prayer. Hope that answers your question. People we don't preach that Mary is God or offer sacrifices to her. No Saint can take the place of God, Mary definitely cannot. But we do know that she is with God and that she prays for us. She is the ultimate mother. You cannot deny the Mother of God, even if you don't see that she's the Mother of God, you cannot deny the Mother of your saviour Jesus Christ. She birthed him and nursed him and raised him, certainly he wouldn't kick her to the curb. He won't say well your just a means for me to get on this earth and now you're irrelevant. For those who don't think people make it to heaven what about Moses and Elijah, what about the thief on the cross?
But your pope has declared the mary of the apparition as your saviour? |
If I ask you questions about Is'lam they will delete them and no I'm not talking about quoting the Qu'ran and finding faults in it, which I have found while reading it, but questions that will definitely get you to quesstion your faith and think outside of the box. I will also ask you questions that you will provide answers to that contradict each other.
The above is the trademark of the quran now! Everybody sabi am! They usually hide behind their fingers and use diversionary tactics to shift the topic under discourse. Na today? Apart from the contradictions inherent and ubiquitous, the absurdities are colossal and embarrasing to the intellect ![]() Dont divert this thread o! Stick to the topic ![]() |
elizabetta:no need to get heated up over this. My own position remains clear on this issue. Why cant the Catholic Authorities allow their clergymen to marry instead of having all these sordid issues like this topic and settling pedophile cases and lawsuits with billions of dollars as compensation? When will the followership wake up to discover that what they have as their leadership from the pope down to bishops and parish priests are nothing but a group of frauds who have perverted the gospel of Jesus Christ with strange teachings and legitimize sins? They call this bringing or running down of a fellow brother but the truth is they see the truth and run away from it. They prefer to hear false teachings. Could there be ulterior motives for telling them not to marry? Go find out even in some of their monasteries and covents, the protitution that goes on in there is worse than that in a brothel, It is as pathetic as that. Yes! |
1. You are not worthy of stepping within 100 feet of me, let alone marry me.
Cool temper! Take am easy jare, You be Queen Elizabeth abi wetin? You be demon or you carry two heads? Na only if you carry two heads na hin go make me run from you? Even if you be female Hillary Clinton, na man go still give you belle! So wetin be 100 feet wey you dey yan? ![]()
2. Thank goodness you're not trying to build a church, your approach towards that shouldn't be by bringing your fellow man down. 3. No it wasn't a mis-quote, go read the Bible, it's in there. 4. My soul has already been committed into my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ's hand. I do agree with you neither Mary nor the Pope is my saviour and as a Catholic, I never claimed it to be. But I won't stop honouring the Mother of My Lord, and I won't stop seeking her intercession to him. I also won't stop honouring the Pope, the Leader of Christ's church on earth.
Just keep on relishing in deceit. You have still not told me about your adventure in reading the book i recommended "Dignity and Duties of the Priests"? Are you sure you will be bold enough to publicly declare your findings on the LEGITIMIZATION OF SIN BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH by excusing priests that sin only once a month? My position is this and i will always restate it, instead of legitimizing sin, they should tell their clergy to marry and reduce, yes reduce these pedophile tendencies in amongst their ministers. |
@Huxley I will address the issues you and the articles you posted raised. 1. The National Institute of Health is a well respected body and has a lot of eminent scientists. An article that refers to them as a source remains an opinion except if the scientific paper on which the article is based is cited. The scientific paper can then be examined with several other papers in a similar area and a reasonable inference can be made. Please site the original scientific papers on which the articles are based. Only then will it be possible for the methods, the results and the conclusion of the paper subjected to analysis. If you have the original scientific papers, cite them. 2. God is not responsible for spontaneous miscariages. There are biological and spiritual reasons why they do occure. Even the article you posted delineated some of the biological reasons why sponteneous miscarriages do happen. The developmental process of every cell has checks and balances. These checks are programed into the molecular clock of such a cell to ensure that the cell or cells survive and perform their alloted tasks. If a cell or cells suffer chromosomal abnormalities or extensive DNA damage, the check process marks those cells for destruction. 3.The occasional occurrence of spontenous miscarriage should not be used to justify abortion or man mediated miscarriages. Just like the observation that humans die naturally is not an alibi for murder.
nwankwo, Your response has made my day. It is absolutely intelligent. I like the blue-shaded portion of #3 point. It is wonderful. |
