Over 233 people cheated death on Thursday, after a Russian plane made an emergency landing in a corn field on the outskirts of Moscow, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV gathered that the plane was forced to land after striking a flock of birds in the air shortly after take-off.

The Ministry of Health, in a statement sighted by Igbere TV, said 23 people suffered injuries, adding that nobody died in the accident.

“The Airlines Airbus 321 came down in a field Southeast of Moscow after striking a flock of gulls, disrupting its engines”, the statement partly read.

The statement added that the maneuver was a “miracle”, saying the plane came down more than 1 km (0.62 miles) from Zhukovsky International Airport.

The government lauded pilot Damir Yusupov as a “hero,” saying he had saved 233 lives, “having masterfully landed a plane without its landing gear with a failing engine right in a corn field.”

“The engines were turned off when it made the emergency landing and it also had its landing gear up”, said Elena Mikheyeva, a Spokesperson for Russia’s Civil Aviation Authority.

She added that the plane started to shake violently shortly after take-off.

“Five seconds later, the lights on the right side of the plane started flashing and there was a smell of burning. Then it landed and everyone ran away,” she said.

Fake headline! The Ondo State Government only banned 'Okada' riders along Ore expressway, which has been uncovered that criminal elements use it to perpetrate crime on the route.

Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has placed a ban on the activities of motorcyclists plying Ofosu-Ajebamidele route along Benin-Ore Expressway, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV gathered that the move is part of the strategy adopted by the state government to curb criminal activities in the area.

The Benin-Ore Expressway is notorious for criminal activities, including banditry, kidnapping and robbery. Some of these activities have, in the past, linked to Fulani Herdsmen in the state.

A statement sent to Igbere TV by the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Donald Ojogo said government took the step due to the activities of some unscrupulous elements who hide under the guise of engaging in motorcycle business, to perpetrate crime on the route.

Ojogo added that the action is with immediate effect and shall suffice until further notice, saying the police have been directed to apprehend anyone found wanting.

“Government has observed with serious concern, the activities of some unscrupulous elements who have hidden under the guise of engaging in motorcycle business, popularly known as Okada, to perpetrate crime on the Ofosu-Ajebamidele route along the Ore Expressway.

“Disturbed by the activities of these criminal elements which include armed robbery, kidnapping, their mode of operations as well as the heightening cases of loss of lives, the Ondo State Government has placed a total ban on commerical motorcycles (Okada) along the entire stretch of the route in question. This action is with immediate effect and shall suffice until further notice.

“By this development, all activities of commerical motorcyclists are henceforth, restricted to internal confines of Ore town and other communities in the area. Security agencies, especially the Nigeria Police, are consequently directed to apprehend forthwith, anyone who flouts this restriction order.

“Government appeals to the general public to co-operate with security agencies in the enforcement of this action in order to stem the growing rate of criminal activities along the area”.

Convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, Omoyele Sowore, has dragged the Federal Government and the Department of State Services (DSS) before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the activist, on Friday, applied to the Federal High Court to set aside its previous order permitting the DSS to detain him for 45 days.

Sowore, publisher of SaharaReporters, through his lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), contended, among others in the 19-ground application sighted by Igbere TV, that the order issued by the court breached his constitutionally guaranteed fundamental rights.

The former presidential candidate insisted that the order amounted to “legalising the illegality” of his detention for about four days prior to the issuance of the court order on Thursday.

Filed along with his application was an affidavit of urgency seeking an urgent hearing of the suit on the grounds that it “is one of fundamental importance that affects salient fundamental rights of the applicant herein.”

Igbere TV recalls that operatives of the DSS, on August 3, arrested Sowore over his call for revolution ahead of the #RevolutionNow protests which held in some parts of the country on Monday.

Ruling on an ex parte application by the security agency to detain Sowore for 90 days to investigate him for treason-related allegations, the judge, Justice Taiwo Taiwo, on Thursday granted the agency permission to hold the activist for 45 days.

According to the judge, the 45-day period, starting from Thursday, lapses on September 21, the date he also fixed for the next hearing of the case.

He, however, added that the order of detention for 45 days was subject to renewal for further days upon an application by the security agency, in the event that its investigation could not be concluded within the first 45 days.

It appears that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s official Twitter handle [@ProfOsinbajo] is having some major challenges, Igbere TV reports.

A quick search for his verified Twitter handle by Igbere TV on Friday night returned the “this account doesn’t exist” result.

However, further checks by our correspondent showed that all the tweets except three have either been deleted or archived, with the display pictures missing.

It was also observed that the blue tick attached to the account had been removed. A blue tick signifies a verified Twitter handle, usually generated automatically by Twitter for some prominent users.

Nigerians have taken to social media to react to the strange development, with many wondering if all is well with the nation's number two man.

Although, Twitter management had recently suspended some accounts worldwide for allegedly violating its rules, and with many Nigerians affected.

Igbere TV could, however, not immediately ascertain if the Vice President’s Twitter handle was earlier affected.

Laolu Akande, Osinbajo’s Spokesman, was yet to reply text messages sent to his phone by Igbere TV, as at press time.

President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with Nigerians who may have lost their loved ones or property to the incessant flooding across the country, Igbere TV reports.

The president also advised Nigerians to always heed to flood alert warnings from relevant agencies, saying, it is intended to secure lives and property.

“I want to appeal to Nigerians to please heed early warning flooding alerts by relevant government agencies, intended to safeguard lives and property. These alerts are well-meaning and for the good of everybody”, he said.

“My heartfelt sympathy goes to the families of all who lost their lives in recent flooding incidents, as well as those who lost property.” Buhari added.

In a tweet sighted by Igbere TV on his Twitter handle on Friday, President Buhari revealed he had directed the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to provide relief materials to affected communities.

“I have directed @nemanigeria to immediately provide relief assistance to all affected communities and persons across the country”, he said.

He, however, appealed to Nigerians to remain calm, peace loving and law abiding citizens, adding that his government was on top of flooding situations.

More details have emerged about the three policemen who were shot dead by soldiers at a military checkpoint, in Taraba State, on Tuesday.

The slain cops, Igbere TV gathered, were led on the mission by an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Felix Adolije, of the IGP’s Intelligence Response Team (IRT).

The names of the officers were given as Usman Danzumi, a sergeant; Mark Ediale, a police inspector; and Dahiru Musa, another sergeant.

The team was said to be part of operatives who rescued the District Head of Daura and in-law to President Muhammadu Buhari, Alhaji Musa Umar in Kano State and arrested 13 suspects involved in his abduction in Daura, Katsina State, on May 1, 2019.

The police said on Friday, that the team was one of the best and most highly trained IRT teams in the country.

Igbere TV further learnt that the slain cops were part of the teams responsible for the arrest of the notorious kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, aka Evans in Lagos.

According to a police source, in Abuja, the men also took part in the arrest of 22 Boko Haram terrorists who abducted over 200 Chibok schoolgirls in Borno State in 2014.

“They similarly participated in the arrest of Umar Abdulmalik, the overall Boko Haram Commander in the North-Central, Nigeria and several of his group members”, he said.

“They arrested the kidnappers of two Americans and two Canadian citizens in Kaduna State and most recently, they took part in the rescue of Magajin Garin Daura in Kano State during which 13 suspects who carried out the abduction were arrested in Kano”, the source added.

He lamented the alleged release of Hamisu by the soldiers who attacked the IRT team, describing the incident as sad.

The Nigerian Army has, however, promised to collaborate with the police to investigate the incident.

A 96-year-old man, James Andorful has married his 93-year-old lover, Margaret Manuel, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV gathered that the aged couple, who already have nine children together, have been living together for 50 years.

They were married at a pentecostal church in Ghana, over the weekend.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Pastor, Rev James Oko Barnor, confessed that it was difficult advising such a couple in view of their long years of relationship.

He added that he was excited to see the couple take the decision to tie the knot.

Preaching on a sermon titled “Unless they understand each other” from Amos 3:3, Pastor Barnor said “If two persons can live under one roof for 50 years in a relationship, it means they understood each other”.

According to him, one thing leading to divorce and separation in Ghana has to do with people comparing themselves to others.

He recalled that in the past, couples understood each other without comparing themselves with others.

Pastor Barnor, therefore, urged the members of the congregation to be content with what they have in order to keep their marriage intact till death separates them.

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has warned the 2019 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to watch the way he issues public statements as though he was president.

Igbere TV reports that the party accused the former vice president of committing “felony” for making public statements on issues, which “constitutionally” should be reserved for the duly elected head of government or his delegates.

In a statement made available to Igbere TV on Tuesday in Abuja, the APC National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, said the party expected Atiku to understand the workings of government, particularly as it bothers on national security, foreign policy and international engagement.

Issa-Onilu said the former vice president should understand that being a candidate for an elective office does not confer on him sovereign status, insisting that his actions portrays him as a “patent imposter”.

Igbere TV gathers that Atiku, who lost to APC candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 presidential poll, has consistently made comments over matters that concern the country.

ABUJA — Mr. Demian Igbokwe, Senior Aide to Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, Ministerial designate for Abia State, has praised Nigerians, particularly young progressives, for their outpouring of solidarity to his principal following his nomination by President Muhammadu Buhari, adding that the oil magnate is ready to serve Nigeria in any capacity as Minister in the Federal Executive Council, FEC.

Igbokwe stated this while fielding questions from our correspondent at the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja, on Monday, in reaction to media reports (NOT IGBERE TV) that Dr. Ogah has been tipped by President Buhari to head the Petroleum Ministry.


There’s been a controversial report that President Muhammadu Buhari had pen down Uchechukwu Ogah as Minister for Petroleum, as a way of “compensating” the Igbos for missing out in other top positions in the country, including the National Assembly.


Contrary to the said report, Igbokwe revealed that his principal is at the moment more concerned in mapping out strategies to making unequalled contribution to the development of the country than unnecessary tussle for ‘juicy’ portfolios, insisting that all portfolios are equal, “what matters is the character of the person in-charge.”

Igbere TV reports that President Buhari had submitted a list of 43 ministerial nominees, which was read at the Senate plenary last Tuesday. Ogah, the 2019 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Abia was the first nominee to be screened on Wednesday.

Igbere TV learnt that the Presidency said Ogah brought fresh air to the APC, working with other leaders and stakeholders of the party in the State, which made the Party perform creditably well during the last general elections in Abia, hence, his nomination as Minister.

A Presidency source, who craved anonymity, told Igbere TV that leaders of the APC were not particularly happy with the performance of the party outside Abia North — where Ogah hail from.

“The National Chairman of the Party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other top Leaders were not happy with the poor outing of the APC in Abia Central and South Senatorial Districts in the last general election”, the source stated.

“For that singular reason alone, the President narrowed down his search to Abia North and handpicked the minister designate (Uche Ogah), out of three nominees, due to his antecedents and pedigree”.

Speaking with Igbere TV, Mr. Igbokwe said the President rejected other nominees and picked Uche Ogah out of the three nominees from Abia, based on his sincerity in making the state chapter of the APC grow.

He called on Nigerians, particularly the people of Abia to join hands to see that the Minister designate succeeds, saying, “electioneering is over, let's not overheat the polity.”

Igbokwe said: “This is not the time to sow a seed of discord between the incoming Minister and his father (President Buhari) by planting unsubstantiated stories in the media. Rather, let us join hands with President Buhari and the incoming Minister to take the country to the Next Level.

“We have a President who does not give ears to gossips and attention seekers. That is why they failed when they tried stopping the President from nominating our dear son as Minister.

“It is on record that Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah delivered the APC in the state and won 14 out of the 17 Local Governments. He won majority votes at all the Polling Units in Abia including that of the Government House, Umuahia where staff of the state government voted massively for APC/Uche Ogah only for the results to be altered by the PDP in connivance with compromised INEC and security agents.

While insisting that the Minister designate cannot be distracted by any media propaganda, Igbokwe added that “President Buhari knows Dr. Uche Ogah better than anyone else”, and should be allowed to make his choice of Ministry for the Abia born politician.

“Dr. Uche Ogah can never be distracted by cheap propagandas and blackmail. He remains committed to the APC, the vision of the President, Muhammadu Buhari and the development of Nigeria at large.

“The President knows what is right and will position our dear son, philanthropist, businessman and oil magnate in the right Ministry he may deem fit judging by his antecedents and pedigree as a capitalist”, Ogah’s aide concluded.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has reacted to the controversies trailing the omission of his Campaign Director, Abdulmummin Jubrin, from the Committees set up by him.

Igbere TV reports that Gbajabiamila, on Thursday, announced the composition of the Chairmanship of the various Standing Committees of the House.

This is even as 13 additional Committees were introduced, increasing the number from the existing 96 to 109.

However, the name of the Speaker's Campaign Director, Abdulmummin Jubrin, was conspicuously missing in the list of Committee Chairman.

Nigerians have continued to react to the development, with many suggesting that the duo may have part ways.

Reacting, however, the Speaker said Jubrin declined accepting any Committee leadership, suggesting that the two are in good terms.

Gbajabiamila while revealing that Reps Jubrin was involved in the processes of compositing the list, said the lawmaker had wanted to quit the House (before now) to return to the university and pursue an executive career.

“Yesterday, we appointed the leadership of Standing Committees of the House. It is usually a very challenging task selecting leaders among equals. But we did our best in record time as this is one of the earliest such appointments have been made since 1999. The House is now fully ready to perform its legislative duty.

“Let me clarify that Hon Abdulmumin Jibrin was not excluded from the leadership composition. He was involved in the composition process and declined accepting any committee leadership. Hon. Jibrin had, repeatedly, made clear his intention to leave the House. My persuasions and that of some other leaders convinced him, reluctantly, to stay a bit longer.

“He wants a fresh challenge and his preference will be to return to the university and pursue his professorial ambition, face his private business or serve in the executive arm of public service. I have no doubt, whatever he decides, he will be of immense value. He has had a meritorious career in the House over the last decade”, Gbajabiamila wrote on his official Facebook page.

A Ministerial nominee from Katsina State, Hadi Sirika, has called on the Federal Government to shut down the Enugu Airport, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that Sirika, immediate past Minister of State for Aviation, spoke when he appeared before the Senate for screening, on Friday.

Describing the runway of the airport as an eyesore, he said it is not befitting of a modern airport.

“I visited Enugu airport as minister thrice including the state government and unofficially twice. It has a lot of problems,” he said.

“If you ask me, I will close Enugu airport tomorrow actually today because the runway has failed. They are maintaining it regularly to ensure safe operations. I am not comfortable because there are also other problems with the runway.

“It (runway) is short, it needs to be extended. We recognise the efforts by the federal government by closing down the market beside the airport. Also people have built within the premises of the airport on the safety area of the airport and that ought not to be on the land belonging to Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

“Whoever is the next minister will contend with that because this is safety. Enugu Airport will be dear to the next minister. That is my personal opinion. We are very jealous of that city and the airport.”

Justice John Tsoho has been sworn in as Acting Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the new Judge was sworn in on Friday by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad.

This followed the retirement of the former Chief Judge, Justice Adamu Kafarati on Thursday.

Kafarati retired upon attainment of the mandatory retirement age of 65, reports Igbere TV.

All Progressives Congress Senator representing Borno South, Ali Ndume, was absent during today's plenary at the Senate, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the first session of the sitting saw the screening of some ministerial nominees before the Senate proceeded on break.

When the Red Chamber resumed sitting, however, Ndume marked his presence at about 4:15pm when Festus Keyamo was been screened as Minister.

Raising a point of order, Ndume was cut short by the Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan, who said he would not be recognized since business of the day had begun.

“Going by the rules, your motion will not work after the business of the day begins”, Lawan ruled.

The senate president, however, allowed him to continue with his order.

Ndume explained that he wasn't in the morning session because someone came to ask for his daughter's hand in marriage.

A first timer, Ben Kalu set National record when he moved the first motion of the Femi Gbajabiamila led Ninth House of Representatives, a feat that has never been achieved by any first timer in the past.

The ‘people’s lawmaker’ as christened by his colleagues due to his sagacity and eloquence at the Floor of the House, Hon. Benjamin Kalu has sponsored several bills within a short space, including the most popular in the House — NiMet Amendment Bill — which has passed second reading.

Pastor Samuel Aboyeji, has emerged the new General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Igbere TV reports.

This was disclosed in a statement sent to Igbere TV by Ikechukwu Ugbaja, National Secretary of the Church, on Monday.

According to the statement, Aboyeji was elected the fifth General Overseer of the church which started in Nigeria in 1955.

Born in December 26, 1960, Aboyeji retired in March 2010 from Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd (SPDC) to become a full-time minister of the church.

Ugbaja said that expectations are high from the church members and Christian community that the new GO will build on the achievements of the church’s past leaders, particularly the work of Felix Meduoye, the outgoing General Overseer.

“The new General Overseer has been the Senior Pastor of the church’s Olu of Warri’s Palace since 2001 and the Warri District Overseer/Mid-West Region Coordinator since 2006 and 2011 respectively where he was rated the best District Overseer of the church for three consecutive years.

“He is also a member of the Board of both the Home and Foreign Missions and the National Executive Council of the church. He joined the Foursquare Church in 1988 and served the movement in various leadership capacities before he was ordained a minister of the church in 2001.

“Rev. Samuel Aboyeji started his working career with the premier stockbroking firm in Nigeria, the Nigerian Stockbrokers Limited (NSL), a subsidiary of NAL Merchant Bank Plc (now Sterling Bank Plc) from 1987 to 1992 where he trained as a stockbroker and licensed as an authorized dealing clerk of the Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1989.

Super Eagles Striker, Samuel Chukwueze, has landed in Abia State, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the Abia born football star who featured in the just concluded African Cup of Nations, in Egypt, stormed his home state, Friday.

He was spotted at a wedding ceremony in Umuahia, the Abia State Capital, on Saturday.

During the wedding, fans of Chukwueze took over the stage struggling to have a feel of him.

Popular Nigerian artist, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has been dragged before a Lagos State Magistrate Court over an alleged fraud of N4 million, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the matter which came up for mentioning as No. 16 on the Court's list of case, listed Davido, his Personal Assistant, Busari Idris Temitiope, and Davido Music Worldwide (DMW), as defendants.

Documents obtained by Igbere TV showed that the case was marked MCL/702/19.

When the matter was called, none of the defendants, including Davido was in Court, neither were they represented by their lawyers.

Counsel to the claimant, Alabh George Turnah informed the Court that the defendants, according to the bailiff of the Court, refused to accept service of the originating processes and pleaded the Court for an order for substituted service.

Our correspondent reports that the Court subsequently granted the prayer.

Investigation by Igbere TV revealed that Davido and his Personal Assistant are being sued for fraudulently obtaining the sum of N4 million from an American based Nigerian upcoming artist, Andre Tejiri Ochuko Ibhihwiori (Tjay).

Court papers showed that Davido and his management collected the money as fee to feature in a musical collabo with artist Tjay sometime in January, 2019 but have since then failed to either make themselves available for the music collabo or refund the money.

It is not clear how Davido and his handlers will deal with this matter, whether they will turn up in the Court or opt for Out of Court settlement.

Efforts to reach the management of DMW for reactions were unsuccessful.

Already, the claimant is asking for 15 percent interest on the principal sum of N4 million from the date of payment to any date that the sum is finally paid.

Popular Nigerian singer, Timi Dakolo said his wife, Busola told him about being raped by pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo in 2018, Igbere TV reports.

He said his wife had tried talking to him about it several times but would end up crying.

She eventually told him about the rape incident, which according to Dakolo, prompted his social media posts about pastor Fatoyinbo and his atrocities in church.

According to him, he has never met Fatoyinbo or received any gifts from him, neither is he a member of his church.

He said the fight is not about him or against the church but to encourage everyone who has been molested to share their stories.

Igbere TV reports that Busola Dakolo had accused Biodun Fatoyinbo, founder and senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), of rape.

“She’s always told me I have something to tell you but she will burst into tears and I will tell her baby take your time,” Timi Dakolo said during a press conference monitored by Igbere TV, on Sunday.

“She told me last year and if you can remember it was last year I posted that this place you call church is supposed to be a safe place.”

Meanwhile, Igbere TV had reported that the police on Saturday, served an invitation to singer Dakolo and wife over alleged falsehood.

They are expected to appear before police operatives in Abuja for interrogation over their allegations against the clergyman.

The Kwara State Government has reacted to the abduction of four Turkish nationals in the state.

Igbere TV had previously reported how a gang of suspected kidnappers abducted four expatriates along Gbugbu-Lafiagi road in Edu Local Government Area of the state on Saturday night.

We gave the names of the kidnap victims as Seyit Keklik (25), Yasin Colak (33), Ergun Yurdakul (35), and Senerapal (40).

Igbere TV gathered that the abducted expatriates were working at a quarry site located within the area.

They were said to have gone out to buy energy drinks when the kidnappers waylaid them and took them to an unknown destination.

Reacting to the development, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, on Monday, said he is working closely with security agencies to ensure those abducted are rescued.

In a statement sent to Igbere TV by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor appealed for calm and asked residents to go about their normal and lawful businesses.

“The Governor is working closely with the security agencies to ensure prompt rescue of the expatriates.

“The Governor urges the people to go about their normal and lawful businesses and not to entertain any fear, as doing so may embolden the criminals behind the development”, the statement read in part.

Angry residents of Zamfara State, on Saturday, stormed the Zamfara Government House, Gusau with a dead body alleged to have been killed by bandits in the area.

Igbere TV gathered that the incident happened in Jirrawa community, Kaura-Namoda Local Government Area of the state, earlier in the day.

The protesters told newsmen that the bandits invaded the village around 10am and shot sporadically in the air.

They said the deceased was just recovering from a gunshot wound inflicted on him when the bandits attacked the village four months ago, during which the father was murdered.

“We later realised that they have already killed Shafiu Inusa on his farm while he was trying to apply fertilizer on his plants after the rains of last night.

“It is exactly four months now when his (Shafiu) father was killed in a similar attack, because the wives of the old man are completing their four months stay at home as mandated by Islam.

“We gathered from his farm neighbour and brother that initially, one of the bandits appeared before them saying anyone who knows he is guilty should run and who is not should stay.

“Shafiu refused to run and when the others numbering over a hundred arrived, they opened fire and killed him instantly.

“This (pointing at the corpse) is his remains that we brought here for the governor to see and know that this peace initiative is not working for us.”

The state Commissioner of Police, Usman Nagogo, who confirmed the incident, said such occurances are expected during conflict resolution.

“I can confidently assure you that the peace initiative by Gov. Bello Matawalle which I lead in the state is working as can be seen in the release of kidnap victims and the repentance of several bandits, but that does not mean that the hardened criminals are no longer there, they are the ones that will perpetrate this now.

“I am in constant contact with bandits groups in all the bushes and our discussions have been positive leading to the peace we are now enjoying.

“On this Jirrawa issue, I have spoken with my contacts around the area and the repentant bandits promised to meet tomorrow and fish out the perpetrators of this latest attack and hand the culprits over to me; this is in the spirit of the partnership we are now enjoying,” he said.

The CP, however, assured that there would not be any fire power against the bandits for now because of the ongoing peace initiative, adding that the command would await the outcome of the meeting to be held tomorrow (today) by the repentant bandits.
