dheaven: Average hotel price per night is between N4-N6k per night and three of you can stay in the same room. Each persons transport by land to and from should be around N15-N18k. Apart from language and currency everything Togo is just like Nigeria.
15k for tp is high. U can get from Seme in Badagry to Lome 3k and same price back. I've travelled along the the ecowas corridor a couple of times.

Chidoxyl: One truth I know is dat d insurgency of Boko Haram has infiltrated so many of d schools/institutions in d northern part of Nigeria. Do not be surprised 2 find out dat so many students of d various schools/institutions up north are members of dis God-forsaken group. The essence of having these students initiated wit d many incentives they must have collected & keep collecting is 2 provide info dat wd aid their smooth attack. Moreso, some of these students must have been initiated outside their will, but under a great threat 2 their lives.

Thinking aloud: could there really be any family in d north dat does not have atleast one of its members as a member of dis terror group. I doubt.

Wit such infiltration, it wd ofcos be very difficult 4 d armed forces to successfully deal wit d boko haram insurgency. At this stage, me feel only God (in His capacity as d man of war) can come 2 d rescue of our nation, Nigeria. He surely will stand up 2 dis challenge soonest than we expect.
I'm 100% sure you don't stay in the north. Just another nairalander pretending to have an analytical mind.

BTW, I'm Christian.

now why are they complaining when ippis have exposed that they work as residents(pg students) in one Fg hospital and also m.o(medical officer) in another fg hospital and also working inalary private hospitals thereby collecting salary triple which is against the law.
u guys should just leave Gej alone
Next time try to understand things properly before posting. You obviously know little about residency.

Leemak: 'Islam, our pride their fear'. In as much as majority of us muslims condemn the activities of Boko Haram we remain steadfast on our precious religion. When militants were killing both Nigerians and Foreigners in the Niger Delta no muslim termed them as christians, I served in Bayelsa State during the period of militancy and I know how dangerous these people were.So stop disturbing your selves, ask your government to be more responsible.
The Niger Delta militants didn't go about bombing mosques and killing Muslims the Boko Haram has bombed churches. If you witnessed the St Luke's children's church bombing in Zaria u won't have made this statement. They attacked innocent defenceless children who knew nothing about anything they were fighting for

Have you also forgotten that in 2008 abou treka of egypt correct me if am wrong in the spelling, won AFCON,CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE,EGYPTIAN LEAGUE AND SEMI-FINALT in WORLD CLUB CUP, bt adebayor who didnt win any trophy won the award? have you also forgotten that in 2010 samuel eto' fills won UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE,WORLD CLUB CUP,ITALIAN SERIAL A and ITALIAN SUPER CUP, but drogba who only won premierleague nd fa cup won the award? have you also forgotten that in 2012, drogba won UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE and F.A Cup single handedle, but yaya toure who only won premier league won the award? for those of you saying that mikel derserves the award cus he won EUROPA LEAGUE and AFCON,dont also forget that moses outshined mikel in AFCON and EUROPA LEAGUE and also musa won RUSSIAN LEAGUE,RUSSIAN F.A Cup,AFCON,RUSSIAN SUPER CUP. Although the award is by voting, but your perfomrance matters which we all knows that yaya toure performs better than mikel this year be it club or international.
Ur 1st statement is wrong. KPB was on the bench in Kumasi against Zambia. He would hv played if he hadn't picked up a knock in training.

Jarus: In 2013? What are the highlights of his performance this year?

As for Muntari, I have never doubted his quality, but I have not watched him in recent time.
I find myself quoting your posts and it amazes me how little you know seem to know of football aside the EPL and the UCL. Muntari has been very consistent for Milan since last season. He isn't their best player but he is a key part of that team and even coming up with the odd goal occasionally

Are u serioushuh Adebayor?? I'm very sure u included Pitroipa n Traore cuz of Afcon. How can you rate Sessegnon for instance ahead of KPB? And Salah is not even the best Egyptian player. This list is so not it abeg.

Jarus: Saga, I don't know what you're sniffing these days. One Ghanaian listed Ghanaians and interspersed it with few others and call it Africa's Best 11, and you endorse.

Imagine saying KPB is Africa's best. He was never and is not Africa's best. He had his best season 2 seasons ago in ACM, andd even at his peak that season, he wasn't Africa's best that year. He was later shipped to Schalke, and here in 2013, you agree such a player is Africa's best.

The list is so crappy that I didn't bother to reply it, because I didn't even know where to start as it's nonsense from beginning to end.
KPB wasn't shipped Oga Jarus. He went back to Germany for family reasons. Even the Milanista were disappointed.

Philippines’ bet Megan Young
becomes the "most beautiful woman
in the world" as she wins the Miss
World 2013 title during the
pageant's coronation night on
September 28 (Saturday) in Bogor,
Indonesia.
This year’s highly controversial
pageant just made history after it
installed the first-ever Filipina to
win the coveted crown—bringing
virtual chills and cheers online and
in large part the whole of the
Philippine archipelago whom she
perfectly represented in the oldest
surviving beauty pageant in the
world.
The 23-year-old Filipino-American
actress-TV host stunned the world as
she presented the aura of a Miss
World-in-the-making all throughout
the pageant held in various parts of
Indonesia.
Fearless forecast becomes reality
But even early in the game, Megan
has been widely predicted as the
next Miss World as she never run
out of impressing the judges in the
competition.
The Miss World organizers have
shown early signs of picking the first
Filipina titlist as they placed Megan
in three of the five challenge events
(formerly called fast track): first in
the Top Model category, fourth in
the Multimedia category, and fifth
among the 11 finalists in the Beach
Fashion Final.
While they no longer give the
challenge events winners a sure spot
in the final round, the winners have
been awarded bonus points to their
preliminary scores.
‘Curse broken’
The beauty queen hopeful goes
down in history as the first-ever
Filipina to win Miss World—breaking
a popular urban legend that no
Filipina will ever win the title.
The said legend can be traced back
in 1977 when Peachy Veneracion
made the curse after she was forced
to withdraw from the pageant at the
time.
Since then, despite the Philippines
successful finish in Miss Universe
and other international beauty tilts,
the Miss World crown has been
elusive until 36 years later.
In 2011, the Philippines almost won
the title when Gwendoline Ruais
placed second to Ivian Sarcos of
Venezuela. Last year’s bet,
Queneerich Rehman made it to the
Top 15.

homesteady: I think Mikel should win the african best player! But I know that Yaya is better than him!
let us use the European best player as an example - there is no how you'll compare Ribery with Messi or Cr7! They are like one million times better than him! But because he shone with Bayern, that's why he got the best player! But even if you ask him, he'll tell you that messi is better than him!! grin
So Mikel should win also! cheesy
So i guess Mikel shined for Chelsea right? Because Ribery won it with club achievements.

Yeah i agree. But you know, in mob justice people don't usually think. Besides stripping her naked is nothing compared to her refusing to confess and letting her husband die because of it.

Alekwu usually kills the husband and children of an unfaithful wife if she refuses to confess her misdeeds. She lives to witness everything. It's the men that suffer. People were angry she was heartless enough to be with another man after she caused her husband's death. I always laughed at my Idoma friends when they talked about it till i saw it happen in my friend's family. It was heart-wrenching. Alekwu has historical roots and i don't know what will put it to a stop. Sometimes it's not bad to be a little superstitious.
