boldsylvie: Are we sure its her flogging dat killed him? Dat pikin fit be ogbanje oo and cld be sent to wreck dat familyHaba! If na ogbanje, na to kill am? If na ur pikin no be deliverance you go carry am go do? And besides you really believe there's something like an ogbanje? |
OlowoB: Guy u bleeped up big tym with dis ur sense of reasoning. Infact dis is d major difference between a poor man and a rich man.People go just dey use English wey dem no sabi d meaning. All you said was correct though. |
Ishilove: What tha heck is 'matatu'?Ishi, u too? U no fit just open anoda tab make u Google am? Well, dem don tell u na. |
gabbytabby: The people perish for lack of knowledge. Most tenancies meant for normal human beings the world over would almost always include a clause similar to thisYou answered better than i probably would have. |
AnOlAd: Every time nowYou take a child from his/her family and take him/her to a new environment and living an unfamiliar life and you expect him/her not to misbehave once in a while? Even your children who have lived with you all their lives misbehave sometimes. People have to understand that child house helps can't fit into their pictures of 'a perfect child' and so must be lovingly and patiently corrected when they err(according to the employer). If they can't be that patient, then they should employ adult helps. |
ifyalways: Don't know what they do but it seems that venue is frequently used for interviews. They are an electronic testing company. They run computer-based tests(CBT) for job and scholarship applicants under contract from companies. They have a branch in Abuja too. Btw, my phobian sister, how u dey? |
GatJokez: Jordan has been playing football since the 1940s, just check wikipedia. So, as I said, they have been playing football for decades.U don't know Noni. The guy don scatter Ghanasoccernet finish. |
gratieao: GHANA did you say?Have u ever been to Nigeria? Cuz i don't see any difference with Nigeria in what u've said. |
ekoboy: agreed its annoying. But unfortunately thats not a situation created by the tenant. Can't we just blame PHCN. Afterall the tenant still spends money running the generator. am sure if he has an option hw wld rather not run his generator. this idea of asking tenant to put off his generator at a certain I feel is just utmost nonsense. would you ask your neighbour in another compound to put off his generator? agreed its an unfortunate situation bt pls tenant shld be left out of it. if its possible a better location that would keep everybody fairly happy should be used.Ekoboy, the thing is this. The other tenant is entitled to his sleep without disturbance just like you. So if you want extra comfort such as sleeping with a fan on, you look for a solution that won't hurt another person. So u can get an inverter instead of a generator which is noiseless. Nobody will complain about noise and you will enjoy your sleep. Your comfort shouldn't be at another person's discomfort. You asked whether the tenant could complain about the generator in the next house. Well, he/she can politely if it's really a big problem. But more importantly, i want you to know that you shouldn't justify a bad thing you do because other people are doing it. Because the generator in the next house is on doesn't mean you should leave yours on too. Even when i get a family in my own house, i don't think I'll leave my generator on that late after experiencing firsthand it's effect on other people. |
^ are you saying you're not a bitter, intolerant and ill humoured person? well, that's the impression you're giving. hence, that's why you need Jesus to give you joy.
You are funny. I need Jesus really. You're right about that. Wish to see you one day I swear. |
^you must be confusing me with yourself. your bitterness, ill humour and intolerance has no equal on this forum. anyway, when you accept Jesus into your life, you will know the meaning of joy. would you like to give him a try?
Looooooooooooool. You know, u just proved my point by hitting back aggressively. You tempt me to tease you. |
ekoboy: its their right! They paid for it. there is nothing selfish about wanting to have light all night if you can afford. still in the compound alone if you don't want disturbance. You need to understand that the tenant is a part owner once he pays his rent.True but sometimes that gen thing annoyed me as a co-tenant. I got only about 3hrs of sleep and i had very hectic days. It was an estate kinda so there was no landlord to put tenants in check. |
Ms Spaqs: I can relate 2 most of this stories,D funniest thing is that most of this Landlords were once tenants. You know what u faced as a tenant why not make life easier 4 ur own tenant wen u become a landlord.I understand your feeling of entitlement but it can really annoy other tenants. I remember when i stayed with my cousin for some time as a student. I'd finish practicals around 6pm and make the 1hr journey home. I'd quickly take my bath, eat, do any leftover schoolwork, watch a little tv, then sleep because i needed to leave home before 6am the next morning. Then when the nights got quiet, our neighbours generator would be roaring till about 2am with his tv on. I often ended up sleeping for about 3hrs and almost always woke up with a headache. There were toddlers in my cousin's house and i saw how their sleep was always disturbed. I did everything to quickly get a room in school. I always wanted to talk to the neighbour about switching his gen off around 12 like most of us did, but i didn't want him to see me as a "bad bele" person. If i was the landlord, I'd definitely have confronted him. |
psky: Why do people like taunting tpia?I think she gives people the impression she has a poor sense of humour(no place for humour on this thread though), she's intolerant, and sometimes bitter. Her posts are intelligent anyway, so i follow her. |
emmysenior: What if his son is capable?I wanted to say this, but that portfolio raises all the questions. Nobody has been able to define what "special duties" mean in this country. |
lucrownt: U can't believe dis, there is no any cinema in Ilorin....Why can't i when i grew up there? Thank God I'm free from the bondage. But i still never enter cinema sha. Maybe i go do my wedding reception for there. |
AbdH: Okay bro, I appreciate the education. Mogaji has to be different from Magaji then. Thanks.No. They're one and the same. It's just pronunciation that differs. I'm Yoruba so i know. |
speedyboi: Asa was just an example. If you come comot dem Lugbe, Kubwa, and even Nyanya and all those places, then Abj becomes one big GRA now. Those are the places that make Abj a CITY boy. Or do you think Lagos and the other cities don't hv Behind(so-called) people in large numbers who'll prefer those musicians you mentioned? |

born2fuck: you remind me of song, Aboki; shine my shoe..even if dem show super eagle match for abuja, aboki people no go turn on.Na who come tell you sey na aboki dey stay Abj? Some people really need to step outside their states i swear. |
iamswizz: Why all the noise?..If landing in PH and Enugu was profitable enough for them, they would have applied for those places. We all know it's the northern Hajiyas who travel to the middle east the most. I've even seen cars with Emirati number plates in Kaduna a few times. |
prettyprettywow: most of them still runs their way through mbbsI would have loved to challenge this but i won't since it's YOUR school. If that happens in Medicine there, then i wonder what happens in Pharmacy and other faculties. You even said chiefs come to beg for students, lol. What school is that? |
airclipse: dude u don't understand my question......he looks older dan her....that's why I asked the question.....so abeg pullover n parkwell dere....Oga, i don park. Abeg i no carry my particulars. |
prettyprettywow: we know how people pay concessional fee to study medicine in our universities. it has nothing to do with jamb score my dear. your money speaks for you these days and that is why we have the caliber of medical workers we have now, cos of corrruption. in the school i graduated from, medicine and other health science courses are offered to the highest bidder. so quit this talk about high jamb score. That may be true in some schools. The truth however is people who get in through those doors almost always never survive to the end. There are so many hurdles to be crossed and you can't pay your way through all, never. |
prettyprettywow: people like you are the main problem of the society. You said doctors in US are the highest paid? did you also check or read about how much they owe as student debt? a doctor owes an average of 300k dollars as student loan plus interest that accumulates as the days go by. so they are paid high salaries so they can be able to pay back their school loans. while other workers don't pay that much in fees( like 65k loan). You see the difference in sch fees? This is also due to the greed of the doctors that teach them.If they don't demand high salaries as professors, school fees will reduce and doctor's salaries will also reduce. Also when you google salaries by profession, it usually talks about doctors being highest paid compared to other professions who entered with just a degree or associate degree as the entry level. As one acquires higher education, salary increases.doctors dont earn more than CEOs, nor do they earn higher than investment bankers and some other professions that require higher education.Remember nurses spend few yrs in school with little or no debt and yet they get fairly high salary which is far above their peers in other professions even with higher education. This is unlike nigeria where you want to reap where you did not sow. how much did you pay as school fees that you want to be paid high salary? do you have school debts that you need to settle? we like doing copy cat but don't want to do it the right way. You went to school and paid peanuts as fees, yet you want to be paid like US Drs. again the years of education is another factor. US drs spend 4yrs in undergrad, 4years in med school, and 4years in residency(paid peanuts here) and after which they start earning their salary. They also pay high malpractice fees in case of any lawsuit. then tell me how much they take home after tax? but here in nigeria you want what they have after spending the same number of years with other health workers and you feel you deserve a pay very far from their own.remeber you spent just 6years. I wonder why you guys keep complaining. If it is that easy to practice abroad, I'm sure non of you will still be in nigeria.I like that you don't insult much. Let me address two issues you touched. 1. Students loans are meant to take care of tuition and cost of educational materials. In Nigeria, govt takes care of tuition and the student bears other costs. If the medical student spends more than the average student, shouldn't he earn more as a graduate based on your logic? This is very straight-forward. 2. You said other professionals earn more when they further their education and also with career progression. True. However, it seems you've forgotten the same applies to doctors. As you further your training and specialize, salary increases a lot too. You mentioned CEOs, but you forget that it is not a profession but a position that can be held by any professional. Indeed hospitals have CEOs(they're called CMDs mostly). You mentioned investment bankers. That is a specialized field, and comparing them to say neurosurgeons in private practice(rare anyway), you cannot say they earn more. It's important we put things into proper perspective here please. |
airclipse: If she's 25yrs, Ђσω old baloteli come be naSo you didn't see "older sister" in the post? |

vedaxcool: So do you, so how does the bible get translated from hebrew to english? Or any other language? Slave of the white man, why writing in english? It is a pity after they slave your ancestors you ended up slaving the rest of your life speaking theiranguage, writing in their language and praying in their language! If u still don't get the message, I am right here to fix your comprehension problem! You can read the Bible in any language you want to. I know efforts have been made to translate the Koran into different languages but this is being discouraged by the Arabs so that people would have to learn the language. If you too vex, start to dey type for Arabic make u see how many people go answer u. |
PANDOGARI: @Bpreist Allah (SWA) understand all languages coz is their creator but prefers arabic. Each and every one of us is going to be ask in arabic in his grave. The qur'an was sent in arabic through the best of the angels (Jibril) to the best of mankind (Muhammad PBUH).Allah said in the qur'an 2:18 They are deaf, dumb and blind. This is why i will not argue with because you coz you know nothing about your religion. My fellow muslims click like.Looooool u are so naive. If Islam had come from West Africa, then Allah would probably have spoken Hausa on the judgment day. So u don't expect those who wrote the Koran to promote their language?? Looooool again. |
