Popular TV host, Frank Edoho , has described Vice- President Yemi Osinbajo as one of the biggest disappointments of the year .

Edoho , who was the host of the Who Wants To Be a Millionaire show for over 10 years, said this in a tweet on Thursday while reacting to a statement by Osinbajo on Thursday .


Osinbajo had in reaction to the shootings at the Lekki toll plaza said , “My heart goes out to all the victims of the Lekki shootings , and also the policemen and all other men and women who lost their lives in the past few days in different parts of Lagos and other states . ”


Responding, however, Edoho said it was unfortunate that Osinbajo had failed to say more on the matter.


“ With your impeccable speaking talent you have managed to be quiet throughout the tragedies of # EndSARS only to mutter the words, my heart goes out. Your heart goes out. Your heart na lantern ? You are one of the true disappointments we have seen this year . ”


The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd . ) , has come under fire for deploying soldiers in the Lekki toll plaza who shot at unarmed protesters , injuring many .
According to Amnesty International , at least 12 people were killed in Lekki and Alausa .

The International Criminal Court has received reports of crimes during the # EndSARS protests in Nigeria.

ICC prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, made this known in a statement posted on the Twitter handle of the organisation.

She noted that the court is monitoring developments from the # EndSARS protests in Nigeria .

Bensouda said:

My office has been closely following the events around the current protests in Nigeria and the reaction of Nigeria ’ s law enforcement and security agencies.

Any loss of life and injury is concerning . We have received information alleging crimes and are keeping a close eye on developments, in case violence escalates and any indications arise that Rome Statute crimes may have been committed. I call for calm and restraint.

The National Security Adviser , Major General Babagana Monguno (retd . ), on Thursday said the President , Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd . ), would come up with solutions to the current violence erupting in parts of the country “in the next couple of hours. ”

Although he did not disclose the nature of the solutions , he said they would be agreeable to all parties concerned .
Monguno disclosed this in an interview with State House correspondents at the end of a meeting of the National Security Council presided over by the President .
He said , “ The President himself, I have just left his office , is also going to deal with these issues in a specific manner apart from what has just taken place in council .
“ I believe in the next couple of hours, Mr President will come up with certain solutions that will be agreeable to the entire federation. ”

The NSA also did not disclose whether the President will announce the solutions through a national broadcast.
