So because of the rot in our government, we should take things as it is. No be the same hustle people overseas they hustle. And someone is saying we should stop having a sense of entitlement. Are you kidding me. That na why the government dey use us as foot mat.

So na only corolla of 17 years dey drive on the platform. I know the kind of cars i see on the platform. My younger bro was a partner before. He rented out a 2013 corrola and moove is planning on using newer cars, abi no be the same fare them go still charge? And what is your point are you saying the fares are ok? You also don't need to curse when replying any post. I don't know why some people are just enjoy being rude or sacarstic. My thoughts exactly, if you want premium or quality services pay for it. Executive cabs go come your house pick you up, dem go use you do shopping, talk to you anyhow, you go still carry am drop for house on top a/c and comfort.End trip na small money go come out.Even cabu cabu na waka we dey go find them still beg for price on top Jalopy cab. I thought the idea of this ehailing services was to create premium and luxury services to their customers wey fit afford am. Olayetan: Honestly I saw the guy comment and I was like is this guy joking, i would even prefer to go on 2 trips that will give me 10k than going on 10 trips that will give me 15k.
They should make it the higher the price the lower the rides sef cuz much rides would affect driver's health and car maintenance.
Their only concern is getting commission from much rides but they failed to do their maths correctly.
If 5 trips amounts to 10k gross while 10 trips amount to same 10k gross, it is still same commission they will have on the total amount of 5 trips they will still have on the total amount of 10 trips, but in this case, drivers are doing less trips for higer fare while their own commission still remain but they must have tot the more trips the more commission for them.
They should make the price higher and rides lower, let who can afford it take the ride while the ones that can't afford it go for danfo. |

Fuel and commission never comot o kodred: I understand what you’re saying but put yourself in an investor’s shoes. They need to recoup their investment and yes business has picked up.
Someone complained of getting trips back to back and declining some. Car owners (investors) have really tried bro, hardly any return on their investments for the past 3 months now. Haba! Na paper them take buy the car ni.
Any driver that can’t deliver 20-25k now is not a serious person and does not deserve to be in possession of that car. How long do drivers want to keep short changing car owners eh?
I’m talking about bolt only o. |

Most hybrid charges while driving, but Electric isn't good investment yet in Nigeria and you'll need to install a dedicated charging station at home to get the best desired result |

Thank you for choosing to drive and earn with Bolt.
In line with government directives, all drivers are mandated to wear a face mask, covering your mouth and nose. The Centre for Disease Control has put together these best practices for face mask use, where they also explain how to make one yourself at home.
The adjusted statewide curfew will be in place between 7 pm - 6 am, and our services henceforth will only be available between the hours of 6 am and 7 pm daily.
As a reminder, you should:
Wear a face mask, and carry a bottle of alcohol-based hand sanitizer in your vehicle Practice social distancing and keep the maximum number of passengers per trip in your vehicle to 2 persons, seated in the back Ventilate the back seat area after each ride and disinfect the door handles and the seat belt buckles after each ride We also advise the use of in-app payments as it has been shown that the virus can live on banknotes. If you must exchange cash, take extra precaution to wash your hands properly or use hand sanitizer immediately Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness Stay home if you feel unwell We advise strict compliance to the above directives for your health and safety.
Nothing extra is required. Simply go online from the 4th of May to start receiving orders.

this man sha, always straight to the point no sugar, no spice and no ice. But i wan ask you something where you this angry before or after venturing into the e- hailing business or na so your matter just be? AngryIgboMan: One thing I have come to notice is that most of you drivers don't understand what is happening yet. They are shutting down businesses and schools and some of you are complaining.
Funny enough, drivers are meant to be the first set of people that should have shut down business especially Uber and Bolt drivers. Ehailing drivers are more exposed to this virus.
This is so because this Virus has proven to be Airborne and has also proven to survive more in cold conditions too. Your AC is ON 24/7. What do you think?
The implication is that if you should carry a rider that has "Coro Nwa" and the person coughs, the pathogen may remain airborne in your car. You will breathe it in and your next rider will breathe it in too. The virus will keep on spreading.
Honestly una get mind. It seems some of you have not suffered Ukwara Tuko Tuko (Dry Cough)? Blood will be coming out of your mouth and no saliva? You have not seen Italian army moving corpses in there thousands? These are people that have world class medical facilities oo and have sensible leaders. Over here, you guys have dog pens as hospitals and iddiots as leaders oo.
I pity some of you honestly. If am being too honest, this Corona abi Corolla virus is among the reasons I ran away from Lagos. Personally, I am very allergic to dirtiness, disease, bacteria, pathogen, virus and bad odours.
I remember one time I was driving a very dirty girl from Lekki to Ikeja to go and meet one Alhaji in a hotel. Even right in my car, this shallow minded girl was negotiating with Alhaji on price. Skin to Skin 40k while Condom is 20k. Can you imagine? Somebody's future wife oo. All these dirty uncircumcised Northerners that there pennis used to be long like Nepa pole while some their pennis is curved like isosceles triangle.
The annoying part was that this girl was a smellos too. This girl was smelling burnt crayfish mixed with decayed dead rat and spoilt egusi soup. I looked at her straight in the eye and told her we have to drive into a mini mart for her to get a perfume or roll on. The girl of course started shouting. I ignored her.
At a filling station, I told her to come down that I want to buy food. Immediately she came down, I engaged my gear and ran away. I parked somewhere and opened my 4 doors, bonnet and my boot too so that fresh air will enter all corners of the car! Yes. I AM THAT ALLERGIC TO BAD SMELL AND NASTY ODOUR. I TAKE CLEANLINESS VERY SERIOUS.
Atimes when I hear that Nigerian guys go down on Nigerian girls to eat their this thing, I use to ask myself what these guys are going down to even eat. I remember one Yoruba girl I dated when I came to Lagos newly. The type of forest I saw when this girl removed her pants eh... I am certain all types of wild animals and diseases reside there. My this thing fell down immediately and I had to chase her out of my apartment. I swore never to date any Lagosian ever again.
Why all these stories?
You need to be careful of your lifestyle especially this Corona period. Dont use because of 700 and catch disease 1 million may not cure. Even the Mumu Uche has closed shop and is now working from the comfort of his parlour in Ikoyi.
While you are busy moving Lagos and catching Corona Virus up and down, Uche in the comfort of his Ikoyi apartment is busy moving champagne from his cabinet to his stomach. Wise up. Run Away from Lagos if you can. That city is too congested and hot! If the epidemic begins.... Hmmmm... Chineke! Many will go. God forbid sha.
Come to think of it. You dont even have International Passport and you want to come and carry abroad disease? Naso your village people strong reach? |

I worked in that area for 7 years and it is known for that. Especially when a passenger is making use of a device it attracts them. So sorry kintus: Hello guys.
To let you guys know of my bad experience yesterday 18.03.2020 during a BOLT ride.
Picked up a rider at Alakija at about 7:30PM heading to Adeniji. Lagos Island, just five minutes into driving we were held in a thick traffic created by tanker and container trucks.
Just before we could get to Mashalachi junction, two able bodied men crossed over from the other side and started flashing torchlight into the car. Before we knew it, the driver window side was hit by a heavy object and the glasses was all over my body. Traces of blood was seen on body especially my hand.
Unfortunately, the rider 2 phones, 1 iPad, apple wrist watch, wallet and money was taken away from him.
Those thieves also went ahead to attack the car ahead of us. We were all helpless, even the presence of truck drivers was of no value as we expected a support from them.
Made a report to Bold through the app on support and got a call this morning from BOLT. According to the customer care, BOLT will NOT be able to do anything for the following reasons; 1. I was not registered for the BOLT shield. MY ADVICE: Guys, if you can afford it, please do it. You won't know the importance until days like this.
2. My third party insurance can only over cover if another car was involved.
I continued with the trip because I had no other option but to drive him to his destination. Although on getting to Apple junction I ended the trip in other to keep my phone off sight.
Please lets be careful as we go about our daily routine and avoid some roads at night.
God bless the road. |
