seriously I don't understand huh
what are Igbos doing in non Igbo states? or is it part of the Nigerian govts plan to balkanize Igbo land?
just as oyigbo LG should be returned to Abia is the same way these Izzi tribal lands should be returned to Ebonyi.
Rivers should also give up ONELGA to Imo and Anioma states.
the FG should ensure that arbitrary demarcations are reversed to reduce tensions between the people.

there are two things... what you know and what's obtainable.what you know is your opinion which I'd conveniently ask you to shove up your @rse kos no one gives a damn about it. when Nigeria breaks up,this is what would happen
1]unification of areas where Igbo language is spoken..this includes bonny and opobo in rivers;igbanke in Edo;legbo and other areas west of river cross in CRS;izzi tribal areas in Benue;omambala areas of kogi
2]resistance by our imperial army of attempts to meddle in our affairs. I'd not be surprised at a war between us and yolobas due to the propensity of yolobas to meddle in Igbo affairs.

anyway agaghim asi gi kwusi ida apari nihi na o n'enye gi obioma mana no matter how you twist it,the fact still remains the fact and that won't change.the people are Igbos, speak Igbo and in the case of opobo, attend ohaneze meetings as part of rivers state delegation.
the port of Bonny was a place used to export Igbo slaves to the new world. 85% of Igbo slaves passed through bonny so you can see what am talking about. when slavery ended, the yet to be exported slaves settled in bonny, retaining their lingo kos their Igbani masters refused to teach them ibani.when Jaja left to form opobo,90% of people who went with him were Igbos. so you've seen how those areas came to be Igbos and Igbo speaking. the case is different in okrika(wakrike) and kalabari kos even though they bought Igbo slaves, they simply indoctrinated them by teaching them the kalabari and okrika lingos, marrying the females and adopting the males into the war canoe houses that bought them.that's why we don't see kalabaris and okrikas as Igbos unlike the case with bonny and opobo.

Istreal doesn't have the largest per capital income in near east.

Istreal per capital income: $37, 000
Qatar per capital income : $99, 000
kuwait per capital income : $45,000
united arab emirate : $65, 000

As you can see Istreal is not the country with highest per capital income in near east ( middle east).
Dont give me that stories that those other countries are oil producing nations. ...we all know that istreal is an extension of Europe and north America in middle east, most of her economy is down to America and European aids in technology and military.

Back to Nigeria, igbos are not that technically sound as you assert...Nigeria is relatively a very poor country with large shortage in technical, engineering and scientific labour force because of our poor engineering/ technological and scinestific education. Nevertheless, igbos are very industrious hence they dominate the informal sector of small retailing, importation of substandard product from china for quick bugs....

You need much more than that to developed.
who dominate the banking sector in Nigeria?
who dominate the construction industry in Nigeria?
who dominate the oil and gas industry in Nigeria?
All these are dominated by technically sound people and they are not igbos....
grin grin cheesy grin cheesy grin grin
its good I've gotten you where I want you to be.leave the Igbos to go and fend for themselves. they're not getting anything from Nigeria so there's no need to remain in the federation undecided
I'd not be interested to debunk those lies you posted about the near Eastern state of affairs but just know that oil has done no nation having it any good.

it is not that simple my friend... a country dont developed because she can produce 2.1million barrel of crude oil for Indian, american and British market. A country developed by refining the crude into finish product like petro, jet fuel, cooking, gas, heavy diesel, kerosene, other peyro chemical product and gas which is then used to generate cheap electricity for industrial and domestic use.

The question is how can we transform this oil into product that will create job, wealth, standard of living and technology. instead of selling this crude at open market for $65 per barrel? You need brain, you need education, you need a government that is serious about science and technology not division.

in Niger state alone, we can generate about $10 billion from rice farming, milling and packaging. thousands of jobs can be created and so many people can be gainfully employed.
We you go to other northern states like kaduna, nasarawa, taraba, benue etc all we see are arable land that can lift so many people out of poverty, create raw materials for industrial use etc.

south western states like ondo ( my dad home state), oyo, ogun, ekiti, osun etc aso have so many things to offer. ..we can be great in diversity.

Back to your assertion, [s]I think south eastern will suffer more if we disintegrate simply because the region is too overcrowded and lacks meaningful arable land for agricultural productivity[/s]

you need the North as much as the North need the south for access to the sea
stop talking nansense!! angry
no matter how much gold and silver a place has,if the human capital isn't developed, then that place is as good as backward. despite for example the lack of oil in the Jewish state, Israel has the highest standard of living in the near East.
Igbo land is blessed with human capital development so she can stand alone..with our ports like PH and bonny on the bonny river;opobo and ibaka on the Imo river nothing can stop our growth.
lemme tell you, its stup1d to continue living the British dream when its evident that its no longer useful to us
CultureRe: Nsibidi: The Original Nigerian Writing Script by cheruv: 9:41am On Nov 21, 2014
is that guy still disturbing??
for clarity purposes, the script nsibiri is an Edzhaagham creation... purportedly taught them by Adakas(baboons).I don't know why that mgboko who probably has never left kalabar would be causing nuisance here.the developer is doing it for the benefit of Igbo land..but that doesn't mean it could be used solely by the Igbos. it could be used to create an nsibirosphere ,an area where the Igbo, mgboko, ejaagham and other nations in the cross river basin would use the modern script to enhance cultural exchanges and polyglottism.
I hereby call on the Igbo language committee in Enugwu to provide the necessary support the developer needs and it ensure its adopted as our concurrent lingual script with Latin smiley

True but the differences are much more than the similarities. Efik/ibibio is one culture, Igbo is another
And Nsibidi has it's origin in the Efik/Ibibio Ekoi/Ejaagham culture
it belongs to them and not Mgbokos...it doesn't mean anything in mgboko but means cruel writings in ekoi.the cross river Igbos borrowed it from the ekois, renamed it to nsibiri and spread throughout the cultural area called ALA IGBO

We are not against the Development Of the Nsibidi, the only issue is how it is been projected as an Igbo ideology.
We applaud the guy doing this project, if he really wants to develop the Nsibidi he should come south and learn from the custodians of the Original undiluted Nsibidi which are currently the Ekpe Societies of the Efiks and Ofiokpo Societies of the Obolos(Andonis).

By so doing we will welcome his project the same way we welcomed english. It is only Myopic to brand the Nsibidi an Igbo Initiative.

This is the problem of Igbo people - longer throat! since when did igbos practice Ekpe? Nsibidi is the language of Ekpe. and Ekpe only exist with the Efiks of cross river and ibibios of Akwa Ibom. You can only decieve those who are not in the know.

You cannot steal a people culture no matter how much you try Ekpe and its sacred practice and Unique language Nsibidi has existed for centuries and will outlive this usless revisionist, Igbo people have not yet learnt their lesson on overextending their reach,This was why the civil war was truncated because of the over grab of the igbos!
this is pure unbridled jealousy from mgboko peeps!!the script belongs to the ejagham who called it nsibidi.the Igbos adopted it and called theirs NSIBIRI.
let the guy finish developing the script for Igbo and the Igbo language committee in Enugwu adopts it as a concurrent script to Latin, I'd now see what you'd do.

Some prophecies have come to pass but I don't understand "if Jonathan goes ahead to contest he will be president but he will not finish is term" Jonathan will survive impeachment" "president Jonathan is the last PDP president" "APC will claim victory but the court will give it to Jonathan" why are the prophesies conflicting on Jonathan?
it simply means that Jonathan would die before his 2nd term expires and just like Alexander the great, his party PDP would weaken till its destroyed and taken over by a new party.
it can also mean Jonathan would resign and hand over power to an interim/military govt.this is the milder form...

first of all, i assumed you were igbo because the line you used is a trademark line used by the igbo bigots on this platform.

Also, we don't love the hausa's, we're just looking after our interest. You know that, the long standing bickering and animosity between we and the igbos cant seem to make us agree on anything, and majority of the SS are cultural and socially more related to the igbos than us, so if we form an alliance with the rest of the south and our relationship with the SE deteriorates, there is a high probability that the SS and SE will liaise against us thereby leaving us to roast both politically and influence wise.
then its expedient you stop bickering with the Igbos so that the south can be united once more or better still ask to be included in the north so that the real south knows how many they're
