YorubaFynest: Name a dog "Trump" and walk him through a white-centric neighborhood right now.
Stop yarning dust.
You're right. Tribalism caused the Ibo man to name a dog "Buhari" and walk him through a Hausa community. When will you Ibos learn to take fault and stop playing victim? Keep your intolerance in the SE. The Igbo in question is from SS |

obaaderemi: AND yet ojukwu trusted him with operation torch, the most important campaign of biafra?he was the first director of the electrical and mechanical corps of the nigerian army b4 the war.after he won benin 4 biafra, biafra died with him. The original commander for that operation was Nzeogwu from Anioma but Nzeogwu died on July 26,1967 at Nsuka. Ojukwu later settled for Konrad Nwāwo from Anioma too. He only changed it to Viktor Banjo bkos he wanted to make the war a North vs South thing which banjo himself knew and agreed to only for him to change his mind along the way like turncoat his people are Permit me to say that the ONLY thing Banjo introduced into Biāfra was the saboteur mentality |

obaaderemi: Many of them do not know that many of those inventions or innovations were designed by a yorubaman called col. victor banjo who was a first class brain and the no 1 engineer in the nigerian army b4 the war.he built the famous bunker and made their guns and led the biafran army 4 a while.the day ojukwu killed him was the day he killed his biafra dream all because banjo was against his plan to incorporate sw and ss regions into his biafra instead of staying in his core east.the same mistake they making 2day by targetting ss Banjo was executed in Sept 1967...the bunker was built in 1968. So tell me, is it his spirit that came and built it No wonder yorubas are synonymous with dirty lies |

pazienza: "Even now that the oyigbo community are begging to be returned back to the SE to be with the rest of their ndoki people, why do you think their request are ignored".
On this part, you are right. I had always thought it was the other way round, but I recently joined an Asa and Ndoki Facebook group, and was marvelled to see that it's actually the Ndoki and Asa in Oyigbo clamouring to rejoin their kin and kiths in Ukwa East and Ukwa West.
Ndiigbo really lack selfless well informed dedicated leader(s), not that other Nigerians have any better leaders, but since when did we start comparing ourselves with Nigerians? There is a big vacuum of leadership in Igboland, and this had created a problem of followership, Ndigbo are not the type to follow bad leaders like Nigerians do. These issues should be subjects of real importance in Igboland today. I've already made it my life mission to ensure that not only Anioma state is created for West Bank Igbos, but also that the areas seized from the East central state in 1976 were returned to the successor states 1]oyigbo LG is returned to Abia 2]egbema is returned to Imo 3]Abi LG is returned to Ebonyi By the way,ask the admins to accept me in that Anioma group, I've sent them a request |

Just like you didn't hear rochas of Imo also speak out...that you don't know its all politics means that you need to be sent to a reeducation camp! SS Igbos have been marginalised in that SS..even the okowa you're calling only became governor after peter obi insisted that the next Delta governor has to be from Anioma! You're an urhobo....don't try and and sow discord btwn East and West bank Igbos |

Akwa ibom and cross river will never support the biafran agitation directly or indirectly.cordial relations doesn't include using their ports.
The anioma people in delta state have said times without number that they aren't part of biafra. Even the governor:an ika man said so recently.
Just hasten the struggle and leave us, ND out of it Only urhobos would've the temerity to speak for Igbos of the SS...which in itself is an abomination!! ND should give up all SS Igbo lands and stop speaking for SS Igbos!! |

Spirit1: Excellently written. Every Igbo man should have a copy of this article and read it to himself and his household.
We don't need Biafra as an independent nation; we need to "go home".
Learn from other ethnic nationalities in Nigeria. How much investments does a Yoruba man or Hausa man have in Igbo land.
If we are able to invest half of what we have in Lagos in Igboland, there will will not be agitation for secession of Biafra.
This is an opportunity for us to look inwards. In as much as you wrote this in the spirit of one Nigeria, the effect of going home would galvanize the call for secession as Igbos would see no need to be Nigerians anymore since it's clear they can progress on their own. For me,I support Igbos going home kos it serves other plans I've for them |
Politics › Re: Yes, Ndi Igbo, ‘go Home’ - By Ochereome Nnanna by cheruv: 8:32pm On Aug 15, 2016 |
shaqhead: "....so if you're asking Igbo's to go home then be ready to boycott SS oil too." Even after been reminded of how the SS treated you folks after the war, you still hold this belief? Hmm...lol
Anyway If "go home" to you means secession, then that wasnt what the write up addressed.
Let me give you an example to simplify what the writer is positing before you guys do what you do best whenever truth stares you in the face-you try to change the narrative!
In EVERY STATE I have stayed outside the CORE NORTH, I noticed something with the Northerners during the rainy season! From the shoe maker, water pushers, wheelbarrow pushers even some that have businesses in the markets close down and go to their farms in the NORTH! That is what runs their economy! They later return to their bases after this activity! This is what "go home" means!
So tell ur fellow folks to "go home"...use the ingenuity that you are blessed with and make something out of the SE then that burdensome umbilical attachment with the SS will fall off on its own cos its obvious you need to shed it off and fast! Amberon is urhobo...so I don't why you're hanging the Igbo tag on him As for the bold...the attachment comes due to the presence of SS Igbos. Remove those Igbos from the SS into the SE and no Igbo would givva damn about the SS anymore |

Amberon11: Igbo's will never learn. Yoruba's have shown that they don't want you in Lagos and all you can do is call it bluff or insult them without taking heed. Igbos need to make the East economically viable. We all know that Igbo's are the largest importers in Nigeria. If you igbos can come together and think of the way forward in other to boycott Lagos seaports it would be a nice idea.
Also, Yoruba's are in no place to tell the Igbo's to go home. whatever context they use that is irrelevant. It is wrong. Igbo's are part and parcel of Nigeria. I'm sick and tired of hearing Yorubas asking Igbo's to go home. Nigeria belongs to everyone, so if you're asking Igbo's to go home then be ready to boycott SS oil too. Though you're urhobo, I agree with all your postulations My people have made a fool of themselves in Nigeria for a long time and the effects are telling on our children, making them halfbaked Igbos who don't know their left from their right! Am with ambode on this! Expel the Igbos from Lagos!! |

Swampy battlefields usually favor those with good knowledge of the terrain better, that's why the volunteer force raised by Boro was able to easily drive out the Biafran army from the Ijo provinces of Degema(present day kalabariland) and Yenagoa(present day bayelsa state). Moreover the creek boys are well equipped... So let's see how the amphibious battles pan out |

In Biāfra, We built rockets with its guidance systems, we guided those rockets very far with accuracy(the defeats MM suffered in the first and second battles of Onitsha is testament to those rockets! ) We refined our own petrol... Each Biafran army division had its own "refinery".despite the blockade the enemy posed on us,there was no shortage of fuel to run the war effort! Most of the arms we had were captured from the Nigerian army(an author wrote and I agree with him that had Biāfra have 25% of the arms at the disposal of Nigeria, Biāfra would've crushed Nigeria and established her independence with even additional territory to boot! ). Our RAP unit produced light arms and rockets(ogbunigwe) But what happened Unlike the Soviets and Americans who incorporated Nazi scientists after WW2, Nigeria conducted search and kill operations on members of Biāfra's RAP unit. And shamefully today, the technological heights reached by the Biafran people is what Nigeria is buying from other countries |
