Lord Lugard of Great Britain made that decision, Late Nnamdi Azikiwe ensured it was one that can't be peacefully opted out of....
Nobody is trampling on anybody, that victim mode blackmail is so 1916.
I like that you mentioned choices and as we all know choices have results and consequences. Before people make their choices, they should think it through, be conscious of what it entails and be bold enough to face the consequences squarely.
What man sows, he reaps and feeds his family on. Your response is one the reasons I love homogeneous nations...so bkos we didn't vote buhari that means he should exclude us in certain appointments he makes, isn't it? Thanks again for reminding me that Nigeria is living on borrowed time... |

Learn to accommodate alternative/ differing opinions and views.... everyone can't agree all the time, no one wins all the time & bridge building is KEY.
Live and let live and everybody will be fine. Myopic I'd say... Nigerians need to respect whatever choices the great Igbo nation makes in certain situations We're a 40million strong nation... That we decided for now to be Nigerians doesn't mean we should be trampled upon! |

Ngige is just a disgrace. He has lost his pride and sense of justice as an Igbo man because of greed. He was a force to reckon with as Governor and some of hos works still speak for him. A situation where 'criminality' is subjective, who is to blame? Nigeria or Nigerians?
You try scold a criminal and his tribesmen feast on you like castrated hyenas, who is to be blamed, Nigeria or Nigerians?
America didn't get to where she is by wishful thinking. They talked the talk and worked the work. They don't have better morals than us but they do follow the law. No body is above d law.
Ask urself this simple question: were the recent Indonesian conviction, execution and cremation were to happen here, would naija not be boiling by now?
The day we speak as one voice against criminality irrespective of tribal affiliation, then Eldorado is in view.
. We- the citizens are our own 'messiah'!
Thanks. Wishful thinking |

Ioannes: [s]Don't let's pretend that the issues you raised above are the reasons why you hate Mr. President's guts OK?
For the sake of non-Nigerians on this forum I will spell it out.
You guys from the Southeastern part of this country hate President Buhari with a burning passion so much so that I believe most of your curse him in your prayers every morning when you pray to God.
The reason isn't far-fetched. It goes all the way back to the events of 1966/67-70 in this country when the country went through a bitter civil war.
The Igbo ethnic group in the Southeast was crushed and decimated in that needless and atrocious war.
Tales you've heard from your parents who witnessed it(mostly propaganda) has fuelled a bitterness and deadly hatred in your hearts for the Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba ethnic groups.
And that is why y'all hate Mr. president.[/s] Obasanjo fought in the war...yet we don't hate him Imagine Yoruba people and their twisted reasoning... |
