Please for the sake of history Opobo was never part of Ijaw land, opobo was actually called ikot Abasi and was an extension of ibibio land until Jajah led troops to take opobo after he fell out of favor with the ruling houses in Bonny island.

Moreover both opobo and Bonny are igbo speaking towns.

The water body called Owara Biafra(bight of Biafra) is a water body whose coastline runs from palm point in bayelsa to a point short of cape Lopez in Gabon. That shows that its bordered by 4 nations viz

3]equatorial Guinea/Guini ekuatoria

The Nigerian portion of which you're boasting is ijo is dominated by both Ijoid and Ibibioid groups,of which the greater portion is Ibibioid. And you know as well as I do that the Ibibios would rather have it as bight of Biafra than bonny.

Hausas and Yorubas would be very pleased with this arrangement bkos
1]it gives them a free hand over their resources without being expected to pay any "tithes" to FG
2]it gives them a guarantee of continuous aid in form of FG subventions
3]it grants them an "increase" in land area for eg
>SW would gain Kabba areas of Kogi while Ilorin areas of Kwara would be held in trust by the FG as trust area
>SE would gain Anioma,obigbo,abi and opobo areas while the other Igboid rivers would be held in trust by the FG

With this "concert" in place, there'd no need for secession by the Igbos and any attempt at discontent by the remaining 30% would be crushed by the big three.

I too don't fancy that city calling itself ugwuocha..though I subscribe to the exchange of the city for some valuable areas.
For example although Opobo is Igbo,I think we should strengthen the kingdom of Jaja by acquiring the lands west and east of the kingdom. Since the Ijaws love PH,the city that Mikhael Okpara built as the Lagos of Eastern Nigeria, its just OK that we exchange PH/igweocha for all of ijawland lying between bonny river and Imo river.
For me,this seaboard(the coastline btwn bonny river and Imo river) is much more important than anything PH can ever be.though this area is inhabited by ijaws,Igbos and Mmoño(obolos),Igbo is a mercantile lingo well understand by people living this area.
For me,PH should be "lost" under appropriate circumstances
