Abi LG is a local govt that exist on both sides of the river Cross. The part on the western part is made of the ehugbo clan of Igboland while the eastern part is made up of the Ekoi people.
Before 1976, The part on the Western side of river Cross belonged to East central state

I've also come to know that a country is best served by two leaders..one in a laid back role while the other is in an active role.
