GOTVee:
Even though I'm a born again Christian, I can't justify eating this. The Bible warns we Christians in the book of leviticus 11:22 against eating grasshoppers and four legged insects. Any Christian that eats this will go to Hell for ever. I pray our lord Jesus continue to guide and protect the Palestinians against the evil persecutions of Isreal. Amen Leviticus 11:20 - ‘All flying insects that creep on all fours shall be an abomination to you. Leviticus 11:21 - Yet these you may eat of every flying insect that creeps on all fours: those which have jointed legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth. Leviticus 11:22 These you may eat: the locust after its kind, the destroying locust after its kind, the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind. Leviticus 11:23 But all other flying insects which have four feet shall be an abomination to you. You did not interprete the scripture in Leviticus 11:22 correctly. The bible permitted christians to eat insects that have jointed legs above their feet with which to leap on the earth such as locust, the destroying locust and cricket. The scripture admonishes christians not to eat other flying insect that have four feets. I don't think your prayers in support of Palestines would work because Isreal is God's chosen nation. Remember the story of Balak and Balaam |

Romance › Re: My Wife Watches Cartoons More Than My Kids At 37 Help! - Man Laments by chiboycue: 7:12pm On Dec 10, 2023 |
DyshApp: A married man has anonymously taken to social media to complain about his wife’s addiction to watching cartoons with their children.
According to him, his wife was always excited to watch and sing along to the cartoon with their kids and she would narrate the stories to them if they missed them.
According to the man, something must be wrong with his wife. While admitting that she has not failed in her roles as a wife and mother to his kids, he reiterated his worry that he felt she should have grown past cartoons.
He appealed for help to fix the cartoon problem.
In his words: "I feel like something is wrong, I don't really get her sometimes. She doesn't even watch the movies I want us to watch together unless I really encourage her. She acts like me not watching those their cartoons with them, I'm missing out on something great.
“My wife, 37 years old, enjoys watching cartoon even more than our kids. When I say cartoon, I mean animated movies. Our first boy is 14 years old down to our last who is currently 4 years old. They’ve turned the home into a cartoon home. They are soo addicted, they sing their songs, do their dances and discuss those things all the time. My wife at her age will be running as if something strange was happening and she forgets herself to be an adult sometimes. I’ve tried to explain to her that I don’t really like it, I don’t complain because they are being happy but, I don’t understand my wife’s addiction. Even when the kids aren’t around, she’ll be watching animated movies alone.
Once they get home, she’s going to narrate all she watched to them and even demonstrate with actions some funny/emotional scenes. I feel like something is wrong, I don’t really get her sometimes. She doesn’t even watch the movies I want us to watch together unless I really encourage her. She acts like me not watching those their cartoons with them, I’m missing out on something great. Is there something I can do to help her? It’s somehow bothering me.
Kindly note that, she’s fully employed and still does her duties as a wife and a mother. I don’t have any problem on that side, I just feel she’s addicted to animated movies when actually, she has grown pass it.”
Watching cartoon is not an issue. The man should give his wife a break. I grew up watching cartoons such as Voltron, g- force, tera force, thunder cats, etc and so I enjoy watching cartoons like lion king, tom and Jerry, etc. once a while. The man is just making a mountain out of a molehill. |

Romance › Re: The Type Of Men I Don't Want (personal Opinion) by chiboycue: 11:55am On Dec 03, 2023 |
SweetBuns: They say that "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", but honestly speaking there are certain calibres of men I will never go near no matter how hard they try.
To get straight to the point,
1. Short men Oh my God.... I don't just know what to say about these sort of men. If I'm taller than you as a girl, then sorry but I can never see you as my second piece. You'll always be like a younger brother to me. No hard feelings. Short men also have this irritating attitude whenever they see girls around, as if they're trying to compensate for their low height. And some even go to the gym and gets muscles.... But it just makes them look shorter like a 5 litre jerry can and irritating Also, why in the world would I pick a short guy over a tall guy? I literally feel so protected and safe when I'm with a guy that is wayyyy taller than me (I'm 5'2 so my height is kinda average)... So ofc I'd want a tall man and not a mini man. Imagine hugging a man and he's hugging your waist cause he's short ugh. I wanna stand on my toes whenever I kiss him and strain my neck just to look at his face. No more no less. Tall men also stand out more, they're far more attractive and I also want taller sons and daughters. Who should the short guys date then? I dunno... But not me. The bar starts at 6'0, but If you're like 6'2 or 6'3... I want your babiesss
2. Bald men The only age where I think baldness is acceptable as a man for me is if he's like in his 50s or 60s. But if you're in your 20s-30s and you're already going bald.... It just irritates me low-key in a inexplicable way... Like why will a young guy have a hairline that receeds all the way to the middle or back of your head? Where did all your hair go? Gross I also read somewhere that early balding is genetically inherited so that means my children too will suffer the same fate? God forbid. My man ought to have a head full of hair well into his 60s, then we start talking about hair loss.
3. "Oju yo Bo" people I didn't know the English term for this so I had to Google it. It's a Yoruba term for people whose eyes pop out of their sockets like that of a wall gecko. This is also something I don't like in my man.... I want his eyes to be like that of Henry Cahill... Neatly tucked inside and having small slit like opening.
Addition: so I just googled it and it's called prey eyes. I prefer the hunter one since it gives my man a piercing gaze and I just wanna hug him immediately.
4. Eyebrows A man MUST have thick eyebrows. If you don't, I can't take you seriously
5. Men with bad posture
6. Men who supports man U
That last one was a joke but I'm dead serious about the rest. And I'm sure other girls will agree to some up there too. These are the reasons why you are still single and searching till date. |

GuruboiNaija: https://.ng/2023/12/03/cop28-tinubu-canvasses-investment-in-alternative-energy-for-smooth-transition/ The Federal Government needs to make the country safe and free from kidnappers and boko raham operators before they can persuade foreigners to come and invest in Nigeria. Monies generated from Internally Generated Revenue from FIRS and Customs and recovered loots could be used to develop renewable sources of energy such as solar farms. Nigeria is blessed with abundant sunlight and wind which can be harnessed and used as alternatives to generate sustainable power supply. FGN could also send delegates to Indonesia to learn how the country developed her floating solar plant with a view to replicating it in Nigeria. |

jesusjnr2020: Will A Sinner Who Pays Tithe Make Heaven?
If we go by the teachings of Jesus, he certainly won't make heaven.
Jesus said "unless you repent, you shall likewise perish!" Luke 13:13.
He also said no sinner shall make it into heaven. Matthew 13:41.
So do not deceived by those church leaders who preach tithing above the most important things in the law, such as, repentance of sins, that have made many sinners in the church think that it is more important to pay tithes than to turn away from their sinful ways.
They are blind leaders of the blind just as the Pharisees in the days of Jesus who did the same thing, but Jesus called them the "children of hell" regardless of their paying of tithes because inwardly they were full of iniquity. Matthew 13:15,28
So although paying of tithes is a good thing, if you don't repent of your sins, it cannot save you from hell!
You need to repent of your sins!
God bless. Can an American, residing and operating a big business in Nigeria, become a citizen of Nigeria by remitting his taxes to the Federal Government of Nigeria ? The answer is No. In the same a sinner who pays tithe is not a citizen of heaven. |

Its quite baffling to see people who on a daily basis make prophetic declarations like, 'i am the head and not the tail", " i shall be a leader in my generation" but, when they get to church they run away from the front row seats lol. How do you lead from the back? . Which begs the question, " why do people like sitting behind ? When a christian comes to a church auditorium, he or she is free to sit anywhere within the auditorium, participant in the church service and hear the sermon from the Minister of God. Whether the christian sit at the back seat or front seat of middle should not be any person's business as long as the person does not sleep off or snore when the sermon is ongoing or the christian wears clothes that reveals the private parts etc. |

PuZZyNegro: I traveled from Lagos to Port Harcourt to see my future in laws family. My girl wasn't around as she's still in Lagos schooling.
I went there with a family member and got them some items like shortcake biscuits and juice.
They offered us food and we ate. After the meeting and normal questioning, we were set to go when surprisingly, this people brought out two loaves of bread and gave us. I told them that the food we ate was enough, that we don't need the bread.
We haven't even gone far when my girl started texting me on WhatsApp angrily asking me why I rejected her mother's gift. That she gave it out of love, this and that.
I told her that bread is the wrongest gift the mother could give me. I am supposed to buy them bread and not the one way round. I intentionally refused to buy bread for them because I assumed bread is an everyday food that people buy and eat, so I decided to go with the package biscuits instead and here they are offering me bread.
If it were something produced locally by them like coconut or something, I can understand but bread?
Please, did I do anything wrong rejecting the bread? Yes you did something wrong by rejecting the 2 loaves of bread offered to you by your future- in- laws. You would have looked beyond whether the gift was a bread or not and just accepted the gift. It is because this historic visit was your first encounter with your future in-laws and rejection of their gift (expensive 2 loaves of bread) which was given to you from the bottom of their heart is a red flag. How would you have felt if your future in-laws had rejected your gifts on ground that your gifts were "common shortcake buscuit and juice ?? |
