@topic. Mikel came into camp, trained very well and passed his coopa test. If Emenalo thinks Mikel was bound and cajoled to play when he didn't feel up to playing, then he has another think coming. He should just shut up and not make a fool out of himself. For reasons I can't put my finger on, Mikel was just dross on the day and that is that!@Ifedisky, what a wonderful conclussion? what do u have to say to the post which said, mikel snubs nigeria bcs of soar throat? why don't u add in ur conclussion that mikel tried his best and deserve no blames? football and politics must be seperated for nigerian football to come back to life. essien got injured while playing for ghana and had to go back to england for the best of treatment. how on earth will chelsea doctor say mikel was not fit and he was left out for the game against spurs and nigeria insisted that her doctor must see mikel first. i hope it is this same nigerian doctor that proved mikel ok? if u feel nigeria has doctors, why is it that all our leaders run out of nigeria whenever they need medical attention? if mikel died in the course of that game(God forbid) it is this same nigerians that will blame him for playing when he knows that he is sick. did u read commentaries from the football authorities before the match on the issue of mikel not honouring that invitation? |
@ Romeo@maitema, since you have choosen to be unrepentant, pls pay attention to my questions above. again, what did u host mikel with? fufu, gari, semo, rice, beans, platain, yam or pepersoup? what kind of drink did u buy for him? palm wine, big stout, fanta orange, pinaple juice or what? pls am curious. do realize how much glo paid for mikel to take a few minutes photographs that is on their billboard? if you took picture with mikel, did u spent that much in hosting him or were u accepted by mikel as a destitute? pls be kind enough to answer my questions as u have been doing bcs these ones are more important that the ones u have been answering. how will u feel if u get another previledge to take picture with him now that he is a bigger boy? |
This topic is NOT about Mikel earning a good living from his career and taking care of his family, I personally dont have a problem with that as I earn a VERY good living too! Everybody’s calling cannot be football. However, the last time I met Mikel in 2005 I contributed substantially for the hosting of the NFA delegation and the Flying Eagles team after the 2005 final in Utrecht, Holland. Ibrahim Galadinma (former NFA chairman), Rafiu Ladipo and Samson Siasia can confirm that.Maitema, could u pls let us know the details of ur hosting galadimma and other delegates in holland. i ask bcs nigeria budgeted for their stay in holland hence u taking care of them calls for a refund from the group. again, it is important you tell us ur details for varification purposes. in holland, mikel was not the only nigerian player who made things happen, have u asked after the fate of the other players? to what extent can u trace the football backwardness of nigeria? was nigerian football doing very well till the inclussion of mikel? how do u define envy and jealousness? what do u think a jealous and envy man can do? |
the issue here to me is that the guy was able to acquire a kind of knowledge in the usa and decided to come back nigeria. from all indications, he is a prodigal son. he do drugs and give him 30.5 billion, little or no change will take place. his picture tell who he is. this kind of idiot will not tell u the wasteful sides of his life. do u need to have a gov as ur father to be successful i life. |
does it mean all of u here did watch the oputa panel where mustapha made a mess of this foolish diya. i wonder what these idiots take us for. obj when he had problems with atiku over third term came out to tell nigerians that atiku was a criminal claiming he did not know till then. well a look at the following names will have a massage to nigerians, 1. obj 2. diya 3. bode george 4. borrishade 5. fani kayode 6. mrs etteh 7. Iyabo obasanjo 8. adedibu a situation or a people that permits men and women criminals, father and daughter criminals, old and young criminals, literate and illitrate criminals, military and civilian criminals! wow! i guess something is wrong somewhere. mr.diya shld be celebrating his excape from the shackles of death during the abacha days and not boring nigerians with his weaknesses. |
@ RomeoMaitema, how come u did not wacth chelsea match as usual? did u watch nigeria against mozambique? someone said amodu played two defensive midfielders, is it true? if yes, who and who were involved? do u know that all the topics abt mikel have died down since yesterday because of his involvement in the chelsea match? i come to terms that u are confussed in ur arguement. are u against mikel playing in the attacking midfield or playing at all? what is the statement about back passes? if mourinho, avant grant, scolari and hiddink all like mikel with his back passes including amodu, who are u to complain? by the way, u said everybody must not have the same calling, it is either u are called in drugs business or u are called in condeming others with ur mouth. the last time u hosted galadimma and co, maybe soon u will host yar adua and obama afterwards. mikel is the only nigerian in a very good club at the moment and a low life feels having access to internet is all life worth. have u ever ask urself why the likes of etim cannot praise mikel when he does things rights? where are ur partners in this arguement? they have all disappeared in shame but u have proved how shameless u can be by this act of talking more. i can see similarities between u and etim. such a man who was accused of stealling ordinary mobile phone among all other party attendants, wow! a normal person will ask himself why, stay away from the public for some time but what do we have here? if i am mikel and martins, i will surely respond to etim atleast i will sk him to provide gthe nokia 3310 before he can slam me. look at it this way, mikel snubs nigeria because of soar throat - did he? NO mikel is going back to bench because essien is back - did he? No mikel will ruin u - did he ruin chelsea? NO Nokia 3310 slams mikel and martins but did their different clubs slam them? NO when will good things come out of nigerians for men who have at least for once served this country honourably? can u even compare the hatred nigerian show mikel to the ones they are showing to our politicians who have forced most of u into drugs and other vices? like i said before, read through ur anti mikel posts and ask God for forgiveness becaue it is writen that those tongues that will rise against mikel in judgments shall be condemed. the decission is urs. |
@poster, if u are in japan for real, see ur doctor. what is happening to u is nothing but chemical reactions. sleeping and waking up inside a factory for years is not a good thing to health. the earlier u see ur doctor the better bcs with the way i see u, u will soon enter street. a japanese slave calling an established big boy - a waste. |
switch47, sorry pls, did u watch newcastle - chelsea? did essien play? was mikel on track suit or ordinary suit? |
can any of u announce it here that mikel and essien are playing the same time in this match against newcastle. prophets of doom only waiting to report negatives. i know that all the anti-mikel imbeciles have close their faces in shame after today's match. well, mikel played 90 mins with essien still in the team. the last time chelsea played without mikel, they lost to spurs. essien and mikel are not playing in the same position. anyother chelsea player who plays as a defensive midfielder must come as an assistant to mikel. mikel has proved himself as the sole replacement of makalele. mr etim my ass shld go and join politics and he has lost out on the game that he was once an icon. but mikel have made my day and definitely bring to an end all noisy cans in the house. you have to all shut up for now. |
Anally retentive chidichris is talking through the anus once again?Dayokanu, i have decided not to continue discussing football with a mortuary attendant who rarely have time to sleep talkless of watching football. |
ok maitema, let us get a point straight here. u have called for the team to stop using mikel. if you are made the nigerian coach today,(God forbid) who will u play in the place of mikel? |
Nna chidichris ie-di egwumaitema, for speaking igbo, i don't want think u are related to the ibos in any manner. from the way you know mikel's odd sides and weaknesses, u must be in a good position to say if he takes drugs or not. from the little u have so far voiced out within our few days of debates here, u are capable of poisioning progresives in ur village. u sound more of a sadiest. u look like an enemy of progress. u feel bitter for such a young and progressive boy. how old are u? do you believe that whatsoever u wish others, same will be applicable to u. i hardly know u but we can learn from others even the unknown friends. wacth people u associate with, etim from all standards is a frustrated man and as such reports negatives. if he slams mikel and martins, who did he praise. to me he represents an a prophet of doom. a man who can out on tv to tell us how he wanted okocha to pay him 100 million for an accusation okocha did not make. he is simply frustrated and if he is the type of man u look up to in condeming a progressive man like mikel, i will reserve nothing in telling u that u may be one of his likes. watch what u say about people especially people who are putting in personal efforts to survive on their own. mikel is a young man struglling to change the family and personal situations out of hard works and prayers, condeming him implies wickedness and envy. |
i laugh or i cry, all u need is trip to cotonou to be normal again. the under bridge mentality has finished ur person. if u keep a man under darkness for a long time, he is sure to be used to the darkness. new findings now show that carbondioxide from generators can change thinking system and i laugh has proved that to be correct. |
@ chidichris@maitema, i now know where u belong. please tell me the position of jerey no 26 which the chelsea captain wears. on the other hand, anelka(i hope u know him) wears 39 where does he play? maybe behind the bars. henry no 14 must be a basketball player? deco 20, galas 10 ha been very active as the arsenal play maker abi? mikel no 12 plays golf? yes amokachi was a hockey player? kanu was into javelin when he was in arsenal? then what was okocha's no in bolton? i have seriously made a mistake of discussing with an imbe, all these while. it is possible that i have been discussing with aboki of the highest order. dangers of internet, wasting my energy and time on mr. ibu of nollywood. |
Do you know that President Obama confessed to using drugs at a point in his life?@maitema, according to you, obama confessed of using drugs at a point in his life, why did he stop? does obama taking drugs make drugs a good product? i get am before no be property. obama was taking drugs before he understand that drugs kills. tell ur etim to stop and we can now put that in the past and listen to him. it is even in his interests so that he will start enjoying official gains like other ex-internationals rather than getting involved in stealing phones and chewing gum just to take care of , who among our ex-internationals can you compare with etim? can u make etim ur role model? can u make him ur adviser? if u are asked to make a wish, will u choose to be like etim against martins and mikel?tell me among our ex - internationals who is condeming a particular player over a team's failure. do u know the difference between maradonna and pele? drugs. do u know the difference between etim and eguavon? drugs. etim is a total blind man and as such can never lead a one eyed man to his promise land. take time to reach etim before he takes ganja and interview him over the match and then come back after he must have taken ganja and interview him again-obviously, u are going to have two different answers. the truth about it all is that u are envious of mikel's achievements. at his age, he has done what ur almighty etim could not do. he is a great ambassadore of nigeria legible to step on places where angels , in ur village, how many lions does a man kill before u call him a lion killer? do u know that mikel has shook hands with world great men? do u know how many personalities are dreaming to be seen arround mikel? do u know that at least all the african presidents will welcome mikel on his visit to any of their countries. do u know that blatter knows mikel by name and in person? what are ur achievements as a human being that makes u think u are qualified to call such a golden boy useless? have u thought of how much mikel takes home at the end of the year for all his back passes and weak tackles? serious football legends like ferguson and mourinho fought for his signature, who and who in ur whole life have fought for ur services? maybe okada men who want to take u to ur destination. there is a natural law that when u respect great men, greatness will come ur way. be reminded in ur dwarf reasoning that any history of football in nigeria, africa and europe without mikel remains an incomplete one and i will wait to lecture u on this ascertion on ur demand. the earlier u delete hatred from ur mind, begin to appreciate mikel as a great man, thank God for his life only then will God begin to look at u as a serious being and his blessings shall begin to take over u. but if u choose to join the critics of failures and thereby embracing failures, my dear, be ready to recieve what u ordered for. |
OK . . . we don hear uDr.Idiot, are u still arround? my prayer to all of u who want mikel to listen to etim is that u all will have a ganja smoker as ur adviser. other ex internationals are getting one appointment or the other from the sports authorities here in nigeria and no one is asking why etim is not getting any. we expect etim to tell us where they sale the best of ganja in nigeria and not advising more intelligent people. we can only ask the the ndlea to give etim lisence to smoke as a compenssation package. if argentina does not take time, they will not come to sa2010 for using a drug adict as a coach. and all eyes will be on arfgentina is south because we now know they believe in drugs so from coach to doctors down to players will be carefully monitored. |
mikel has no biz in d super fowls 4 now, since mourinho converted him 2 a DM he simply lacks what it takes 2 play in dat position, mikel's futbol has gone 4rm bad 2 worse,& playing in dat defensive role @ chelsea aint helpin his futbol cos i think if we closely analyze mikel @ chelsea u would see d following@onyera, according to you, he barely supports d attack @ chelsea and u hardly see him behind assisting terry and co. this sort of statement can only be allowed in the pdp led govt. a player is not in attack and is not in defence, yet 65% of chelsea goals are his fault. please just go home and commit suicide as that is the only option left for a man with such a blank brain. i have been looking at maitema as one who had nothing to offer until i come across your post. come to the think of it, is ur type still in existance? maitema, u are sounding like someone been cheated but let us put all the blames to grammer. this topic is simply on how mikel will ruin nigerian football if we continue to use him, true or false. i have said it times, there is nothing wrong is rephrasing your words or better still withdraw your statement. again, the no writen on the jersey has nothing to do with what happens on the pitch. a particular player or team can make a particular jersey special for herself. mikel wearing no 10 does not make him the captain or the goal scorer. no 80 can do anything to bring a cup. kanu is the most decorated african player, yet he is not wearing no 10. the world current best player is ot known with jersey no 10. drogba and etoo are not wearing jersey no 10 so jersey no has nothing to do with ur role in the picth. if you think u know english which i have not seen yet, this forum is dedicated to soccer or sports and not vocabulary so ur grammer must produce points otherwise, u will be wasting grammer. |
dayokanu, the truth is like u like football but ur location is the problem. if u are in the usa, pls concentrate on basketball because u have nothing positive to offer in the game of soccer. okocha become okocha the moment he takes on bolton and made his landmark there. epl is very tough and if you have been following the interviews of players, they will all tell u it is a different ball game here. have u asked urself why only players who are doing well in other leagues are bought by english league. do u know who sheva is? if you are talking about french league, it is like saying an eyinmba player is good. have u asked urself why in the goodness of french league, none of their players have been nominated for anything in the world. look at the champions league, last year, it was 4 english clubs into the last eight of which if u make mistake of pairing the four with other league clubs, there will be the possiblities of having the four in the last four. last year it was all english affairs and this year, it is looking like same will happen. look at drogba and essien, they have been wonderful in french league but the only time fifa believe in them was when they proved themselves in epl. oga, the competition is high. if u go to france today, taiwo can be rated as one of the best left backs but will u ever compare him to ashley cole of chelsea, bridge of man city, evra of man u. epl is presently hosting the best defender in europe, the best midfielder, the best goal keeper, the best striker and the best world player so what is left mr obama? i have told u to pls look for other forums and leave sports bcs u do not fit in here. how can a mortuary attendant in america come to lecture us in football? the uche, obasi and chrisantus that u mentioned here, are they musicians or footballers? if they are footballers, where are they playing and what are their achievements so far? they are all strikers, do u want to compare them to yakubu or martins abi drogba? if u succeed in epl, u can play anywhere including inside the waters. can't u see so left over players in epl like pires, edu, henry, forlan, kanoute, diara are all doing very well in spanish league. |
@ azeezbaba & Dotman01maitema, the most honourable thing to do will be for you to withdraw your statement that is if you have come to the realisaion that your thread topic is not a true statement. in english language, USING HIM WILL RUIN US simply suggest the idea of stop using mikel if we want to be successful. in other words, mikel is the problem of nigerian football. it is obvious one can have a different thing in mind while writing a different thing. we will all understand that english is not our language. if you choose to make strong statements like that, u must be ready to back urself with points. obviously and truthfully, i do not know mikel and martins but for anyone who for once have made sacrifice to nigeria, is worth our praises because many others have rejected nigeria to play for other countries and non of us is condeming them why will it be those that accept to play for us that we will put to death. on the other hand, most of us here are not disable and as such can do what they are doing. maitema, i have nothing against u rather i wanted to protect the masses from information poision. with the heat u got from this thread, i am well convinced in my heart that u under this same id will not be in a haste to post such a biased topic in the nearest future. |
But honestly chidi you have not point made here at all. I am a chelsea fan and I am comfortable with the fact that essien is back so we can keep mikel back on the bench.cabali, u have point made sir. essien is back so mikel goes back to the bench. point made and observed. what if he does not go back to the bench? are u mikel's God to decide his fate? on the other hand, this thread is not about sore throat rather it is about etim slams mikel, martins. maybe u lost your way and find urself here so pls when next u want to make contribution, read the post before u go offroad mr point maker. if you are into any form of sports, u will know that sickness is sickness. if you are not used to hardship, u will know that sore throat can kill. again, mikel came for the game and the matter is no longer on coming rather it is about performance. how can under bridge men full sports forum? if you are a chelsea fan as you claim, you will know the difference between defensive midfielder which mikel is and the attacking midfielder which essien is. in mikel, chelsea has the only outstanding midfielder who has comfortably taken over the role of makalele. brother, did u say u are a chelsea fan or calaba rover's fan? |
Y'all come home and make a change - like you who drives London buses, come home and drive molue - you who sweeps the train in Liverpool Station, come home and sweep trains at Oshodi, you who do parking attendant in London, come to Ikeja CBD and issue tickets at car parks, you who wipe old people's butts, come to Old peoples home at Sabo and wipe butts, these ways you will contribute your own quota to the country Nigeria - but as long as you cant do all that, sit your stinking butt where you are and let Naija people be - bumper to bumper.i laugh, u sound as if you are not happy with nigeria not invited for the g20 meeting. if you are living in nigeria, if you have visited other countries in africa, if you are not a nigeria, will u allow nigeria to be part of a g20 organised in africa talkless of the one organised for the whole world? do u know the meaning of g20? this stands for the great 20, are we among the great 20? do u know that apart from petrolium which we export as crude, the only thing nigeria is proudly exporting today which has factory in almost all household is CRIME. if you are the german chancellor or american president, will you allow a criminal to seat beside u in such a meeting. yar adua is the ring leader of robbery syndicate here in nigeria that robbed all nigerians of their voting rights on arpil 2007 so how can he be in g20 made up of credible candidates who worked their ways into their various govt houses. yar adua and his likes are part of the problems of this g20 and as such cannot be part of the meeting. furthermore, his not going there is to his advantage bcs nigerian abraod who have been suffering bcs of our leaders wickedness are nolonger taking things lightly when ever they see these leaders over there. |
Wow! for the first time in my nairaland life, i have decided to follow the crowd. the hearam and doam shld be concentrating of how best to use prof. iwu in 2011. he shld be talking about how pdp will rule nigeria forever and ever. he shld look out for the best ways to further take nigeria back to early 30s. how on earth can all these elected presidents have meeting with a selected president? is he not feeling the heat of what happened to his oga(obj) in london? someone, somewhere can somehow make yar adua to understand that g20 is for presidents from countries where there is electricity and security going to another country with same. how can a man from the dark world (nigeria) go to such meeting. yar adua is supposed to be used to darkness, poverty, hardship, lack of security, fraud and embezzlement at high and low places. i told ppl that obama is going to be more radical than bush and from the way he talks, idiot like yar adua will soon begin to feel the heat. with pdp and these crop of criminals, nigeria has to wait till they form G 1 million as that is when they will get opportunity to attend meetings with such action men like brown, obama and sarkozy. by the way, will yar adua leave ekiti election to attend g20? the nigerian london students made mistake of using eggs and tomatoes on obj. every goliat needs stone and as such, nigerians abroad shld learn to always have their stones in waiting for our leaders outside nigeria so that they will always return with plasters and bandage as the price they have to pay for making us slaves all over the world despite the rich kingdom God created us into. |
if yar adua according to the interview on hard talk accepted responsibilities, if Erickson the mexican coach who was sacked yesterday accepted responsibilities of the poor runs of result of his team, if the western leaders will resign over small things, what are we arguing here. the leadership of nigeria is neither by inheritance nor by force, those who choose to lead us do that under oath to protect and defend us. if they fail the oath and fail to quit, they will not fail to accept responsibilities. a common nigerian can only commit a common crime while the leading crimes of this country are committed by our leaders. nigeria is out to rebrand nigeria. this rebranding can only be effective if our political systems, economical systems, security systems, basic armenities are all in other. all the mentioned issues including the protections of lives and properties of the citizens are all the under the responsibilities of our leaders. the real definition of a lead is the one who directs the ways of others. if nigerians are called criminals today, one will be forced to ask, where did they learn this? the answer is simple. who among our leaders past and present is not a criminal? we are under the stewards of high placed criminals and criminality has become a way of life. a yar adua who fraudulently got into aso rock has no moral justification to look mugabe in the face and tell him to retrace his steps. will it be possible for obj to come out in the open to say negative things about iyabo obasanjo? the drama of atiku saga is supposed to be fresh in our minds. obj said atiku is a criminal and atiku said yes but we are in it together hence the death of the matter. upon all the facial show offs of el rufai and ribadu, we are all witnessing the dramatic follow up. why are ppl praising clinto and blaming bush? the americans under clinton were the same under bush yet there were variations in their policies. if yar adua attends a meeting in togo and tell the president of togo to be ready for a war, togo will say nigeria has declared war on us. |
If we sack him who do we put there, anyone?Jarus, sacking him is one thing, who is next is another thing and if possible, a more important issue. maybe sacking him will bring back onigbinde or obj can come and take over the national team as a coach so nigerians shld be mindful of who is next before taking any action. again, we have to think about the clauses of the contract. it is assumed that his employees must have given him target. who knows if not allowing the eagles to be defeated is a condition so a draw is a good dame under such contracts. there are some clauses in contracts like this that can put the coach in a better position if sacked than when he maintains his job. look at the chelsea sacking of mourinho. |
@chidi and maitema,PurestBoy, u said everyone knows mikel is not performing up to expectation, if it is at chelsea, i don't agree with that. if it is at national team, i agree and i will also like to make it clear here that none of the super eagles is performing up to expectations but if u know of any, let me know. if u cannot hold him responsible for the maputo draw, i also feel the same way but someone here believes mikel shld be held responsible and that is the fight and if fighting will be used to make people think the right way, then fighting is ideal. @chidicrismaitema, i have been expecting u to do this since and the good thing is that u did not know the right time to quit. arguements are designed to gain knowledge and as long as it is about football, i have done enough to bring u to a standard but forcing a horse to the stream is always different from forcing the horse to drink. i am happy that many football analysts have joined me in making u a product of nollywood. with ur thread topic, one will easily look at u as someone who lacks knowledge, learning abilities, a man full of misinformation, hatred for a hero, envy for a great achiever, but 2face idibia will always say, no one can course who God done bless. do u know that mikel have done his job, collected his cash and left for the club that services his account at the end of every week with funds capable of changing the history of your lineage and that is the kind of person u call useless. my prayer is that God will have mercy upon u. ignorance kills and absolute ignorance kills absolutely. do trace my involvements in nairaland forum, i don't discuss every topic, i select them and i talk in areas i know very well because i am expect to meet people of great abilities to discuss with. my candid and cordial advise is that you choose topics based on specialization to avoid exhibition of ignorance like u have done in this thread. it is not nice meet you at all but do have a nice day and feel very free to change ur id bcs it is free of charge. |
Speculations, shit talks, blind talks are one of the characteristics of an average nigerian. Why crucify mikel and martins because the match ended in a goal less draw? what is the system doing to help nigerian football? we know what our problems are but just because of the greedy people sitting on that round table making football decisions chose to turn a blind eye to the truth. Why NFA keep bringing back amodu after series of failed attempts? this is capital bribery and corruption that is killing our football today. these guys fail and all of a sudden, they find their way up to taking thesame job they've failed in archieving more than 10 times. Mikel and martins may not have lived up to expectation in that match but what's a job of a coach? i mean a bloody one like amodu. doesn't he have the right to observe individual performance and the teams performance as a whole and make substitutions? Etim has the right to make his contributions as long as they are positive and i see some sense in what he said although i didn't watch the match but if mikel and martins were bad the bloody coach should have made early substitution or some sort of technical strategy to correct what's going wrong.Lagoslag, when truth are said, the deaf and dumb, the blind and even imbeciles know it is true but it is unfortunate that most of these guys here are paid labourers. yes, some of us here are paid to decieve the masses while some are ignorant of the truth. we are all specialists in leaving the objects in pursuit of shadows and that has been the major problem of the nigerian society. mikel played very bad in the last game but he will surely play in the next game. since nigerians know mikel, he has been an object of discussion in whatever he does. many say he is over rated and i must say it here this school of thought are the same ppl over rating him because they always bring him into every discussion. look at argentina loosing to bolivia, nobody will blame messi rather the coach or the team. look at mexico sacking their coach because they want results but what do u get here in nigeria? mikel this mikel that. when he does not honour invitation, wow! a big topic, when he does, a bigger topic. the only thing mikel will do and non of these guys will talk is when he achieves anything good. how many nigerians posted a topic when mikel all of a sudden become a regular in the star studded chelsea against the believe of every nigerian? none. etim, is an underachiever when it comes to football. can he manage a national side? of course the answer is no because he is now full of smokes. if etim is what we think of him, what is he doing as an ex-footballer to grow the game in nigeria? criticism. doctors will tell u that anything done under the influence of drugs are not normal and lawyers and judges will based their cases on the influence under which n action is committed. drug adicts are not relevant in sports. maradonna can bring argentina to the 100th position in fifa ranking. yes you can't trust a man under the influence of drugs. if etim wants to be heard, he shld get involved in meaningful activities like other ex-footballers do. look at shearer of yesterday, now the newcastle coach. look and keane of man u, look at siasia, look at keshi, look at eguavon, look at oliseh, look at emanlo. do something meaningful for the growth of the game both here in nigeria and outside and people will know that u love the game for real. why is it that nobody anywhere in the game is mentioning etim for any position in the game even his peers? he has nothing to offer. how long did he last in the hi tv commentary? what qualities does he have or what achievements can he boost of and what can he show for his football days? obsolutely nothing. despite the very short time martins and mikel have been in the lime light, if they decides to stop today, they will be better placed in the football society than the man in question. |
it is obvious that men with football information are arround.it has been a difficult thing dealing with nollywood fans who claimed to be football fans. maitema, when next you want to post any topic, it is advisable u check out what is happening in the movie sector because u do not belong here. do u know erickson has been sacked by the mexican football authority after loosing to hunduras? in an interview he said, i understand their reasons because we have lost many matches and if there is anyone to take responsibilities here, it is me. do u know the role of a national football coach here in nigeria? go and look through, check and pick from among over 150 million people of nigeria, see among the males, pick the best footballers and fix them in the best positions in the picth to get the best of results for nigeria and we will pay you. if your brains are in order, u will know that amodu can go to a village and select the biggest idiots there and combine them with mikel to get the result we need. whatsoever the players do, whatsoever result we get, whatsoever attitude they put up, one person that will and must accept responsibility is the coach that is why coaches are fired while players remain. if mikel was not playing well, why leaving him in the pitch for the whole of the game? will it be a good news if i announce to you that you have sourrendered your football fate and that of nigeria to mikel? your so called messi the no 1 player in the 2005 holland game participated in the 6-1 lost to bolivia and is still alive till now, what do u think? life is all about choice. if mikel has choosen to make enough money for his family while others choose trophies of which i don't know any, may God grant them all their wishes because we all have different problems in our lives and as such need different solutions. if u must have been following kaka, u will know he is jointly earning the highest in football with ibrahimovic of inter. been in manchester city has a lot of disadvantages financially like in the area of endoresments. if kaka decided to stay back because of trophies, how many is milan looking for this season? i have not heard of any footballer or coach who does not agree terms before joining any club or any player that said, club shld forget about money. all the clubs will use players when they are active and throw them away when they are less productive. who will think bolton will threat okocha the way they did after his commitments and contributions to the club? but that is business. be informed that all these clubs are limited liability companies registered with the main purpose of making profits. like one gentle man said, a professional is he who get paid for what he does. if that is the case, henry came to arsenal for money and he left for money. beckham left man u for money and he equally left madrid for money and he is now in milan for money. if u watch the situation in arsenal today, most young men come to arsenal to get the normal exposure they need and afterwards move on to their promise land. arsenal wenger is bent on using the young stars and throw them away when he feels they are over aged as we saw in the case of campbell, lauren, kanu, pires, edu, viera, lehman, henry etc. on the issue of super eagles, mikel is not playing well and so do all other players hence there is a need for those in charge to find out why that is if they don't know. please maitema, tbk and co, look for other areas of interests in nairaland as footballers are arround and u are odd men here. |
well, i don't want to be personal here but let me just suggest this to all those blaming mikel for the problems of nigerian foot ball. i am just thinking it will be better for you all to blame ur mothers for not giving birth to u footballers rather than historians. please u all shld consider this step and if u welcome it, go home and give ur mother the beating of her life. |
Mikel needs to be giving credit for being a regular 11 at chelsea but unfortunately himself and the fellow super eagles dont show enough commitment when it comes to the national side maybe it is a nigeria thingblacksta, i can see u coming out of ur shell. if one looks at nigerian football back to the days of abacha when instructions and directives were given directly to the coaches from aso rock and compare it to these days when our football have been used to compensate political thugs, it will be easy to say why we are always going backward. it will be a perfect madness to put all the problems of nigerian football on a single and small boy in the name of mikel. the only group who are trying on their own to do well are the younger ones who are struglling to come to the lime light. if u like, give ten siasia the super eagles, it will not change anything because the govt is no longer interested in this game that gives joy to almost every nigerian. the politics in the game is discouraging and if we want to be truthful here, all the members of the team are not given upto 70 percent to the team and do u blame them? how did the super eagle come back from egypt? how many friendly matches are been organised for these boys to understand each other? in everything u do, motivation is very very important. look at the days of orji uzor kalu in abia state, eyinmba became the first nigerian side to win the african club champions league and two straight times. look back to the days of abacha and see how many cups we won and compare it to other govts. somebody must be ready to motivate these guys. |
good news, bolivia 6 - argentina 1. i am suspecting mikel is the problem because he was not playing well. @chidichrissafex101, i mentioned those name bcs one monkey said mikel was going to do well at man uif he went there so i was to remind the monkey that there is no guarantee as someother players have not be doing well at man u too. i hope u are aware that players can also play below par in man u? we are all expecting manucho to start playing in that position mikel was supposed to play but he has just been sent on loan. while a player is young, he can be thinking of how many trophies but when he becomes old, those trophies will remain in the club's shelves and while goes back to his country. today, we all know how many trophies okocha won in all his life yet, he will remain comfortable till the end of his life i mean financially. mikel is a nigerian from a poor background and has nothing to do with club's trophies since these trophies will not put food on the family's table. every professional footballer, plays where he gets enough funds at the end of the day. to me, mikel has nothing to regret because he is not doing badly for himself. he is a fine boy, too much money, playing with a big club, putting his family in the comfort zone. what are we regreting for a man who is not regreting? who knows next month manchester city may come calling and we will come back here to discuss as women that we are while real men remain in the war front. . . . wondering If I wouldn't have done better than JMO in that match. I'm serious!!!@Jarus, i thought as much but for the fact that u are a disable whose abilities are only effective in talking and writing. maybe nigeria someday register for the disable games and u will have the opportunity to show nigerians what u cld have done in the place of mikel. sorry brother. |
Chidichris is a Arrow of the highest order . . .Dr. Idiot, the act of calling for this thread to be locked is a welcome idea because from all indications, u have run out of points. the problem with most idiots is that always want to be noticed and thereby expose the height of their ignorance. do u know certain idiots make more sense when they silent. do u also believe that another idiot was asking me how come maradonna is doing well with argentine team since he is a drug adict. since u have reached the doctorate degree in idocracy, help me inform some other idiots in ur group that maradonna lost 6-1 to bolivia last night of whihc if that happened to be in nigeria, it would have be the end of his carrer with our national team. drug adicts are not normal ppl. do not be surprised that maradonna will wake up one day and tell the whole team to start taking drugs or quit the national team. looking at ur etim esin, who does not know his worth in lagos? a man who is been accused of stealing ordinary mobile phone, wow! truning out to be the mouthe piece. what a shame? in the animal kingdom, etim and maradonna are supposed to be in the zoo while in a normal system, they are supposed to be in rehablitation homes. they are far from normal. it is obvious that the world is going mad. a man who cheated the whole world using drugs while amokachi and co were doing their things naturally is now a coach and u think south africa will give him visa in 2010. i know that one day, all the idiots in ur group will vote etim esin to coach our national team. all i will do is to find a way to ask mikel and martins to dash etim money so that he can turn back and tell us that they are the best players in the world. drug man can do anything. |
Nigeria's best team at any generation would be lucky to escape with a draw in Mozambique! Why, Maputo is a high altitude region,Omar22, u just talked football. if a man well informed in any field talks, surely u will know. u have just dropped ur point with a vivid illustration. when someone who lost his mother, sister or gal friend to mikel talks, the difference will always be clear from when someone who knows football talk. i love ur wisdom and understanding of the game of football but above all, i respect the courage of dropping the undiluted truth. @ chidicrismaitema, are u aware that morgan the sporting director of lyn oslo was jailed over the illegal transaction in which he forged mikel's signature? or are u saying the norwagian court and police are wrong? brother, the topic is mikel and not john shittu because if i go into john shittu, u will get more confussed about the growth of mikel and how he got in touch with siasia. the internet is there to lecture u on important issues and persons like mikel. all you need to do to read more about the lyn oslo mikel saga is to type same in google. do u have intention of running into mikel again? i yes, for what? have u not taken enough picture with the secret hero of ur life? whatever, in case u walk into or run into or even sumersalt into mikel, pls do not forget to tell him that someone, somewhere is in love with his abilities, boldness, achievements and above all, his popularity which has made him too important to be ignored even by envious cowards who criticise him in the day and worship him at night. maitema, i wish u can do something that will make others fight to take photographs with u even if it means going to block benin expressways or u can even get involved in kidnapping and with that we can discuss u here. do u know what? i keep on imagining why mikel is always in the news? why is everyone dying to take picture with him in holland? why must every football commentator talk about him? the simple answer that i get from myself is that mikel is simply a SUPER STAR, what do u think? |

I am also aware of the brouhaha John Shittu came to cause in Rotterdam (Holland) between two local archrival clubs all in the name of managing (SELLING) Nigerian players. He sold to one club and then said no I meant to sell to the other club! This happened after Mikel’s Lyn-Man U-Chelsea debacle. If you are an authority in football as you claim you should have an inkling of what I am saying, the player and clubs in question. In any case, I strongly advice you not to bask in your self-acclaimed "authority in football" it is glaring you know nothing!
