Well what matters is the day the ward stamped the letter. If you resign from a party it is not the national executive that matters but the ward. Either way he was still a member of PDP on May 20th by his own admission.

I am telling you the procedure for registration and resignation. It happens at the ward level. You don’t go to PDP HQ in Abuja and say you want to register from Enugu ward, they will tell you to go to your ward in Enugu.

Again read the letter again, he is simply informing g the national executive because he is a high profile member and involved in the primaries. He clearly states he has informed his ward that he has resigned. Unfortunately no one has a copy of the letter he sent to the ward.

The ward is where you register or resign. This letter is merely a courtesy letter to the national executive because he is a high profile member.

It does not change anything. He was a PDP member after the expiration of the deadline for parties to submit their register of members.
ALOL !! now why will no one have a copy of letter that existed, is it carelessness or what

Isnt it funny to you, Everyone as a copy of the letter that was a mere formality BUT the one deemed valid nobody get am 🤣 .. how much is photocopy abi mmoesoma use am sell akara

My friend there is only one letter and that what you are seeing online.

IF inec had disqualified Peter Obi pre-election it might have digenerated to chaos or civil war going by the heat at that time, But its good they allow him contest so @least he knows his position now. it won't do national interest any gud if Peter was disqualified

That is an understandable alteration. He claimed he informed his ward on the 20th of May, and his letter says he is no longer a member effective 20th May. Registration and deregistration takes place at the ward level. The letter to the national executive is just a formality, perhaps out of courtesy to inform them that since he has resigned, he is no longer a candidate in the primaries.

He left the PDP officially on 20th May…..still 28 days after the April 22 INEc deadline. Note: LP presidential primaries was 30th May, so he joined LP at most 10 days before their primaries. He could not have been on their register 30 days before the primaries as require by law.

Understand that the reason why this law was enacted was to prevent people jumping from one party to another after losing their primaries in a party. It’s a more serious offense than that which they accused Shettima of.
The letter becomes effective the date PDP issued recieved stamp on it ... that is the official procedure for resignation.

I can write a resignation in feb, tell all my colleagues i am going But until the day my Boss or company accept that letter its not official, legally or formally i am still a staff.
IF letter to the National executive was just a formality why his Peter Obi not parading the letter you think is valid cheesy a whole Peter Obi that contested as PDP vice president go wan resign naa agulu ward chairman go come authorise am, una no dey think
Peter Obi talks alot about process But its very funny how he does not know some basics.

PDP recieved and authorised that letter 25th, that is the day Peter Obi resignation becomes effective by corporate & legal standard quote me anywhere wink

This is an intra party matter and pre-election matter too. APC and Tinubu ought to have brought the case forward before the election.

Now the tribunal is dealing with post-election matter.

And lastly, Bola Tinubu and APC with INEC are defendants in the Tribunal not litigants. If they want to sue Obi for not being a member of Labor Party, they will need to file a fresh case against Obi, while the Tribunal focuses on the litigants case.

I cannot sue you in court and while defending yourself, you turnaround to start accusing me of one wrongdoing. Court proceedings doesn't work that way. If you have a case against me, you will need to file a separate suit against me for that not while defending your own case.

Yeah ! she has being taking the 1st position all her life but, jamb happened .. for the 1st time she find herself in a position beneath 1st, it takes lot of maturity to accept defeat, something peter obi also lacks

That is one big test ... all her life she was raised to bask in success, anything below 1st position to her feels like failure that she can't accept, she must have felt she let herself down, her family, and school. she is like a project everyone believed in, at that stage it difficult to see yourself FAIL, have being there

"As prescribed by INEC" is real time transmission of results not prescribed by INEC in its guidelines?. Oga nobody is contesting outcome of election, no one is saying TINUBU did not win,(if INEC said so) the question is, how did he win. If INEC guidelines state that election would be transmitted in real time and did not do that, is that not a violation it's guidelines?. Use your coconut head to think. Your eyes is on the final results, our eyes is on the process that led to the final results. You see that's the difference.
YOU SOLVE MATHS AND GET THE ANSWER, BUT WURUWURU TO THE ANSWER WON'T BE ACCEPTED.
INEC prescribed two options, electronic transmission or Transfer i.e manual

clause 38 of inec regulation speculate upon completion of voting & announcing results at the polling units the presiding officer shall

electronically transmit or transfer the results from polling units to the collation system as prescribed by INEC

"OR" denotes transfer is an alternative, so you & your likes need to stop arguing as if electronic transmission was the only option enlisted.

There are toyota suv that have two gears, automatic and manual, the driver can decide to use anyone and the car will give same outcome. those options by design makes whatever the driver do justifiable

Imagine this for a second, the witness is an ICT expert, what is his business with form ec8, which is manual. What is his job in INEC for 24 years, when the result from his expertise is blurry.
And how many times will INEC have to ring into una coconut head ... the election process was Manual

Clause 38 both (i) & (ii) made emphasis on "as prescribed by the commission"

if INEC prescribed a manual collation process and OBI is tackling the ICT route is that not a journey in futility,

Finally, all the results you find on IREV are taking by BVAS camera, its just like your phone camera, sometimes you take a shot nd you find it burry could be as a result of stains on the camera or the camera not well set.
Before you question the ICT or server, check the primary source i.e the BVAS, if it is clear on the Bvas and blurry on IREV portal that is were ICT as some explanation to do

Why are you still stuck in manual when things are being digitized? That's because you have intention for fraud knowing your candidate cannot win a truly transparent election
The Purpose of the IREV was not for the collation process or for collation of results,

The IREV was design as a verification centre for electorates to check & verify result posted at the polling units matches what was announced at our respective polling units,

We are humans and not animals. Even animals do take care of their own. Empathy is synonymous to being human so it's not out of place to show empathy to the affected.
See my brother, Nigerian government always look for an easy way out as opposed to finding a better and sustainable ways to tackle a situation just to make sure that there is something left to enter their pocket at the end of the day.
It's more economical for whomever that is in charge to bring bulldozer and demolish the whole place, leave it bare and siphon the remaining funds than to find a way to channel the floods properly to a place where it will have no or less effect. Yes some buildings will definitely give way yet a thoughtful government will employ the services of engineers to examine the estate and map out a better way to construct drainages. I don tire to speak grammar my dear but I strongly insist that demolition should be the last option.
Like i said, you are making these all about empathy but there is a level to everything,

I don't see why any normal human will be looking for the hard way out, so its understandable when the govt looks for easy way out.

Govt have so much responsibility on it neck, such that you can creat problem for yourself and be expecting govt to come and brainstorm how to solve the problem you created.
There are town planners and the guide lines are clear, you can even hire a surveyor before you pay for any land, its an achievement to own a land in these part of the world but do what will give you peace both on short & long run.

Govt has no sides, there duty is to that which is best for all whether we like it or not

moreover foreign product are much more available than local goods in our market

The fact that it is more costlier to produce goods locally in Nigeria is not making the price of local product sound like life saving e.g the price between a Nig bag of rice & foreign rice is not disausive enough.
Govt has to implement policies that will guarantee availability and subsidize raw materials for local manufacturers
