Another wishful thinker. Do you even know how forex market operates? What's our export volume as a country? Well, you can't vote bad leaders and be expecting to reap good through positive affirmation. Welcome to shegenomics. May it favour you and your family.
Call it wishful but i call it Optimism founded on the pace and profieciency the govt have exhibited so far, from baba go slow to baba go far and you expect sane Nigerians not to be optimistic.

I don't need to be Forex operator, a basic knowledge of DD & SS forces is enough guide,
Availability is major key decider in the market forces, when there is no reason to hoard, bribe, use connection or long leg the market is fair for competition to thrive. sincerity & commitment is just what these govt need to succeed they are on the right path

You can't wish for doom and expect not to a designated recipient, may it hit you & your family. olodos

It is a matter of simple basic economics my dear. Demand for dollars far outstrips the supply therefore price will keep rising until things even out (unless there are artificial supports introduced). We are far from things evening out when you also factor in Naija inflation at 23% and US at 3%
How can the demand for dollar ourstrips supply in a floated market, don't you guyz think at all, it shows you don't know shit about forces of DD & SS.
why did the impending fuel scarcity weeks ago vanish ?? what happened
Floating the market, means open market, multi sources of FX, competition and hoarding no longer viable .. these factor are tew strong not to influence positive change on the long run,
Nigerians are synonymous with now now, for the devaluation of Naira to take a desireable turn it will 1st rise a bit but it won't exceed 800+ at most BEFORE it dwindle, naira will gain value the moment we import less and do the norms for a start.
Nigeria problems are artificial, human created, going back to norms is enough to trigger positive changes

Optimal local production within the country will trim down Inflation drastically .. the govt just needs to be committed & sincerely, so far the govt of the day have shown pace & proficiency. we just have to give the govt time whether you like it or not, NO magic

Good read for the mandators
Some of you are just suffering Losers PTSD, From a realistic view there is nothing anybody can do in 3weeks under the current situation of the country that can reflect positive changes or grows asap.
IF the new administration of wailer can't differentiate between "Commend & Celebration" then there problem is incurable

In the last 3 weeks Tinubu have taken decisions that other past administration won't dare, and his appointments so far are top notch, they are all excellence in there respective fields, so

The new administration are taking things in a whole new direction and people are just Optimistic taking a new route might lead to the promise land, that is worth commendation and when we start seeing the effect changes we will celebrate
if all we look forward to do is criticize & condemn everything even when we see good, then that is not opposition that is HATRED at play. there is time for everything

Just say "Tinubu increases his salary and that of his colleagues in crime".

When e good for ear, they will put Tinubu name. (President Tinubu appoints new service chiefs)

When e bad for ear, they will put FG. (FG increases Tinubu salary)
IF you take your time to read, you would have realize the salary increment review was on before even before Tinubu won the election

The chairman emphatically stated they had a public hearing on Feb 1st.
However i wish Tinubu turn it down, if the people are to tighten there belt, politicians & public servant must also sacrifice and lead by example. o se koko

Good to see that I gave you assignment that kept your brain busy and sent you through the research table.

Before you went on this research, did you agree there was an alternative to NIBSS? No.

Now you know. And I will restate it that NIBSS network was deliberately jammed during the elections to prevent dubious politicians, like the character you are supporting, from easily moving money electronically after cash was deliberately withdrawn from the system for the same purpose.

Or you also believe that Naira redesign was about terrorists?
Shut the fvck up bro, you don't know shit you have shifted the goal post again ... it is no longer Opay use NIP and bank in your villages use NIBISS cheesy
Mumu, what happened then can still happen now, if cash is unavailable and we all have to depend on bank transfer to pay something as low as #100 .. bank networks will be overwhelmed, its very simple, jamb website will load easily now but when it is registration & result season you will see students sleeping in Cafe just to have a print out. olodo tell us who jammed jamb website 🤣

Politics › Re: Why Amazon Should Sue INEC And Demand Billions Of Dollars In Damages. by chidiokay:

Lemme educate you a little.

While Commercial Banks use NIBSS, alternative payment platforms like Opay, Palmpay, etc, use NIP.

The NIBSS network was jammed because that’s the channel from which politicians would have chosen to move large volume of money electronically in the absence of cash.

The NIP network was free because the users of that platform were not the targeted audience. How many politicians have account on Opay or Palmpay.

See, I don’t know if you are being deliberate or do you really mean that you don’t know that withdrawal of cash from the system and poor experience in electronic transactions during the election was deliberate from the government?
Can you be reasonable enough not to stop talking shit, olodo
NIP is NIBSS i.e NIBSS instant payment which is used for instant transfer from an account to one account at a time. whether you use OPay or you are Using GTB we are routed through NIP.

The 2nd banking option is NEFT, most used by institutions & parastatals to transfer funds to multiple recipient at once and it take mininum of 24hrs to reflect cos of clearing process.

Not everyone on NL is gullible, stop insulting our intelligence here if you don't know shut up.

how dare you tell me bank use NIBSS and Opay use NIP, olodo

Pathetic that you don’t know that there’s a body responsible for all bank transfers in Nigeria.

It’s called NIBSS which stands for Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System. It is owned by the CBN and all Commercial Banks and every transaction in Nigeria passes through it before it is settled.

When we suffered glitches on bank transfers during the election period, they were the ones responsible because they deliberately jammed their network. That’s why every bank suffered it.
The way you spew nonsense with so much confident, dem suppose dey slap you from junction to junction nii

NIBISS deliberately jammed there network ?? really ? Do even know what is "TRAFFIC" and what huge traffic does to host servers

so why were the transfers on 3rd party apps going, or the transfers from Opay, fairmomey & co don't use NIBISS network

I once did Cryto trading and i understand there are days transfer to a certain bank will be failing while other banks are going, there are days i will have to warn customers using First bank not to do transfer, those days GTB will fail and access bank will go was that NIBISS deliberately 🤣🤣🤣

Traffic is the major culprits here, Web servers have bandwith and it crashes mostly when Traffic surges high, within a min i can fund my sportybet account mid week but on weekends once matches start transaction begins to lagg

There's always circumstances, that could make a government, delay or hasten a decision, the earlier rhetoric could have been one that calls for such delay, people die everyday and government should be about understanding far reaching implications
You are entitle to your opinion with the four walls of your room, But when it comes to standard, security and protection of lives is the 1st priority of the government.

There is threat that some buildings might collapse but becos Igbos are still brooding over the last election the govt should wait till IGBOs are happy abi, before taking proactive measures that can save lives ... kindly save that "Command" for East govt, beko

When a purported "situation" is not life threatening govt can delay or wait But in circumstances where identified threat becomes "LIfe threatening" ... govt must be pro active, if you saw those buildings you will know they can collapse at any time...

I'm fully in support of Igbos gradually reducing their investment in Lagos and take precautionary measures on acquiring non Movable properties.

Now to the issue at hand, while understanding that Lagos state government have every right to demolish distressed building as was said, the lead up and timing is suspicious.

Coming to the case of Lagos state, Igbos have that justification to feel targeted given the events of the last 3 months. 1. Tinubu losing in Lagos, 2. Sanwolu having a tough time winning in Lagos 3. The statement by the Lagos state house of assembly members threatening to make anti non indigenous laws. 4. The No Man's land saga 6. The increased rhetoric between Yorubas and Igbos and 7. The targeting and harassment of Igbos during the election.
If you truly admit Lagos govt have right to take demolition decisions in any part of Lagos state then there is absolutely reason no reason for these malicious write up;

Building collapse has no timing, therefore govt decisions can not be subservient to how a group of people feel, if some people could conveniently wail for 8yrs those are not the kind of people anyone Govt would want to wait for before taking pro-active measures.

Tinubu losing in Lagos cost him nothing in real sense, it only shows he is not liable to lagos like most of us think.

With the election results Sanwo olu had a land slide win in Lagos compared to previous polls in Lagos, the presidential was an eye opener that the igbo agenda was true, the indigenes did the needful.

Everywhere, laws are enacted to give indigenes special privileges and right, as long as there is a conducive & enabling ground for Business activities visitors & investor with "No interior motive" have no reason to feel threatened. IGBOS are not the only visitors in Lagos, Dangote refinery is worth more than all igbos investment and he is not jittering, except Igbos have coup interior motives indigenous law are not anti-human.

All we keep hearing is igbos were targeted and disenfranchised but hardly can we see 20 people come out as victims, Chinedu rhodes went round lagos how many igbos did he see with broken head at the hospitals, its funny that every igbo they came out to cry that day ended up VOTING cheesy

We know the yorubas in the East were intimidated on the election day but we kept our cool causes we are committed to respecting "Boundaries" and we are ready to lead by example any day anytime.
These year Lagos state moved to demolish some structures on banana island, is that targeting igbos tew, even the concerned buildings in alaba are most owned by yorubas rented to igbos. who is losing Yoruba landlord or igbo tenant that can move his goods cheesy abeg rest

OP you tried. But the problem with these two tribes is that they allowed the politicians to succeed in causing divisions among them.

Secondly, this cannot change.
Maybe if "History" does not exist maybe your point would have being entirely valid,

Right from the beginning IGBOS have always put themselves 1st before Nigeria.

1967 coup .. the plan was to kill all regional leaders .. who reneged

1964 election, there was a plan to boycott it, igbos reneged

1979 election, Awolowo call for alliance, igbos reneged

1993 election, Despite Mko Abiola popularity & acceptance, Tofa from the North won 3 out of 4 Eastern states.

1993 till 1999, Yorubas leaders were either in prison, exile or assassinated, Igbos left west and ran to the East taking appointments from Abacha regime,

When you put these few things into consideration you will see there was never a "Mutual Bond" btwn these two tribes, the politicians are just capitalizing on it,

1969... coup led by igbos killed yorubas leaders, Adekunle fajuyi died for ironsi but do igbos ever care, dem send am
1964, Sw creat an alliance with SE to boycott the election but igbos reneged

1979 ... Zik chose the northern collaboration over Awolowo merge request,

1993 .... Igbos still aligned with Tofa from the North against someone like Mko abiola

1999 .... Igbos formed PDP with the North and ever since then till 2023, East gave there loyalty & vote to PDP

Igbos broadly divided other Nigerians into three broad categories- Those they hate, those they deride and those they fear.

In politics terrain , Yorubas are the one igbos hate, they say yorubas are traitors and coward, cheesy But Awolowo was just Wise & Reasonable

Ojukwu can afford to lead his people to war becos as then there were more igbos in military and ojukwu had experience to defend East Compared to an Awolowo that can't even fire an arrow successfully, how will Awolowo defend west when Ojukwu is busy defending East.

Over the Years west have done everything humanly possible to unite with the East, BUt 2022 have made us realize it is Rivalry for life, There is no shame in defending our Land, you can't do in our land what i can't do in your land .. then turn around to guilt trip Us.
