Ofunaofu:For how long will you people keep hiding under GEJ, even pdp don't quote 2012 as much as Obedient do online .. The same NLC that lost it tongues for 8yrs under Buhari suddenly find there it fews a South westerner took office where was NLC during fuel scarcity and cash scarcity now they want Nigerians to be believe it about the interest of the people, the people they failed for 8yrs under buhari. NLC is fighting for Peter Obi course certainly not Nigeria |
Greenfusion:Your case is good bro, @ least you know one sure 100k is coming month end, it is left for you to draw case of preference For a trader, with the present economic hardship, consumers will surely cut down on purchaases .. before as a boutique owner if you're making 100k a month it is no longer guaranteed, becos turnover will drop and flunctuate at low. Need i remind you a trader will pay shop rent, pay transport to his/her shop, pay sales gurl/boy, pay his house rent and feed all that expenditure is on a dwindling turnover Salary earner whether oga sell or no sell you go collect salary at month end, you have zeros worries about your office expenditure na the owner headache, If you guyz own a business you won't argue the way una dey argue |
MadarasBlade:Bro i don pass level wey you go dey tell igbos are these igbos are that ... naa mouth una get, But one thing i like about igbos be say dey don't do beggy about, they maintain self respect. Igbos love cars naa money do ojoro ![]() |
SpecialAdviser:Bro your last post just gave you out completely, you know nothing about business, you think you but tou don't. Now what some of you don't understand in business is having old stock is not tantamount to double profit, new price will always dictate the market, you must re adjust to meet cost if i bring in a toyota muscle at 2.8m at landing cost around jan and i intend to sell at 3.1m but xchange rate went up then same toyota at landing cost is now 3.2m in june ... it is not goodnews to the selller becos he will have to sell that old stock at market new price so that he can restock. profit margin is constant if you inflate your profit you will scare customers away. i challenge you to bring all those beer parlour statis you are talking of, a lot of business men are into shady deals no let anyone lie give you, that UCHE guyz Efcc caught recently if dem no catch am, he will tell you bro business is good .. one shokolo shop in oshodi and oga has houses in lekki .. business is good nonii Civil servants are the major ATMS in any society if they are broke businesses are broke, govt are the highest employer of work forces, if these work force don't have money even traders will suffer, we are all in it stop decieving yourselves i have igbos in my area none drives a car bigger than lexus 330 09 sef so scrap that igbos are world richest nonsense. no tribe is immune to economic hardship |
dapsoneh:i will keep this truth in the fridge and serve it chilled to cococandy some day ![]() |
SpecialAdviser:And majority of hausas and yorubas are beggars the igbos feed and cloth abi .. In an hyper inflation economic people who suffer the most are traders cos of eminent low sales, scale of preference and opportunity cost will be the order of the day. Consumers will not only cut down on there consumption, they will prioritized only essential goods, so it going to affect most traders not into essential commodity whether igbo, yoruba or hausa ...let me widen your horizon bro. With the current economic situation, traders turnover is most likely to drop than increase while monthly pay is prone to remain constant or increase. business life span is not as durable as human, onces business is not making regular turnover naa close down, but salary earners will survive even economic melt underground sef. na lean dem go lean Economic hardship knows no tribe, we all go to the same market, emeka selling motor part will eat meat/fish, mama chukwudi selling okrikra cloth children will go to school, chinedu selling phone accessories in computer village will pay shop rent, Nnamdi will need kazeem mechanic to fix his highlander ... As you exploit customers in your business, you also will be a customer somewhere and they will exploit you tew ... its a circle we all are in it. stop fooling yourselves. |
no wonder pocohantas went M.I.A .... her last chance to get a medal b4 🤭 |
Philip4564:Just over look it, some people just let there emotion get the best of them .. it seems he has high expectations from you could be entitlement. If i were you, i will treat is fvckup by sending him what i have to spare, then leave him with his conscience |
SpecialAdviser:If Igbos succesfully hike prices of there goods, does it affect yorubas and hausas only, igbo no dey buy from igbo or is there subsidy on okikra, electronics and spare parts for igbos Are igbos the only traders in Nig, what stops yorubas and hausas from hiking the prices of their goods & services as well ... una no dey think at all ![]() There is no need for mumu talk we all will suffer it, so let nobody cum here to brag nonsense |
press9jatv:well maybe you will have to elect him president of your house because Aso rock is singing "i'm unavailable" |
press9jatv:What kind of palliative ? on what rationale will the beneficiaries be selected ? In these part of the world does palliative ever get to the main targets, without a database system how will atiku govt set out to achieve a credible palliative exercise. Politicians are sweet talkers, next time use your head |
richidinho:Which of these security agencies in Nigeria is not corrupt, when you look at the ratio of bad cops to good ones what does it tell you Nigeria has a population of over 220million and all law enforce agents in Nigeria no reach 2million |
SsweetAnn:Just boil it and it will be safe for drinking |
Greyworld:You must have comprehension issues, go ask people in sri lanka howfar ... i don't blame most you na where you see reach you know reach |
Goodlady:You these gurl, you need to start showing respect to men here, be submissive or you end up like pocohantss |
HIGHESTPOPORI:Did Inec announce results by polling unit or by local govt total, here is the problem 90% of peter Obi supporter don't know jack, So far from the nonsense OP post, as he being able to proof Peter Obi won any local govt. why not do that 1st Peter Obi and his supporters are just senseless, if your hand never strong to carry sword up no call out person wey kill your papa. |
ggood:How did what you post justify suppression, the ones you selected shows LP won those polling units how does suppression come in ? inec chairman announced total votes from each local govt before giving cumulative total, so can you produce where Inec said Peter Obi did not win any Polling unit in sokoto ?? Must you people lie, winning some polling units does not mean you won the local govt. naa total go judge naw. collate local govt results and let see if Peter Obi win any local govt |
richidinho:Do i need to remind you subsidy as being existence in Nigeria for over two decades ... e never reach one week wey govt comot subsidy and you are sounding like subsidy never happened. How many times do we have sensitize the public borrowing to finance our budget becos 96% of revenue goes into serving and paying loan us about plunging Nigeria economy into coma, WE DON'T HAVE THAT MONEY. Even as subsidy stops there is no free money anywhere, the only relieve will be we are not borrowing. Borrowing to invest or build is viable But Borrowing to live a Lifestyle is one of the most foolish thing anyone can do. Kpeogre said Us is subsidizing essential products for americans but is america borrowing to pay those subsidies, that is the what we must discuss. Must we keep borrowing for the interest of the people when its at the detrimental of the economy, what happen when we lose our credit score and we can't borrow again ... we should wait till that happens abi |
9jalyte:When OBasanjo called ATiku a thief do you know Atiku responds to OBJ. OBJ won't ever come after you becos you are a thief, OBJ only attack anyone he sees as threat to his own Interest. thats all ![]() That baba naa weyre |
Omoapena:Oga GEj and Buhari tried it, that is why sometimes you hear subsidy is gone then they come back to shock nigerians they are still paying subsidy. partial removal as being tried multiple times we keep falling back into full subsidy. Subsidy operates like cancer, we just have to cut subsidy off |
jullary:The competition will only start when private investors get there license and have stock for distribution. The present stock in the country was distributed solely by NNPC that was why they got away with regulating the price. The way we depend on PMS in these country i am afraid competition won't do much, what can really drive PMS price down is low demand, Nigerians need alternatives, a stable power supply, trains and electric buses for a start will go a long way to cut PMS wings. In UK & other developed world you live years and not see petrol eye to eye. my friend in UK told me yesterday since he got to UK he as not seen petrol, these is someone that as he is returning from work he must carry keg to go buy fuel ![]() |
Greyworld:You have spoken like a lame man, lemme ask; Do you know the present rate of Inflation in Nigeria is over 200% Where there is inflation should govt be pushing out more money into circulation .. does it make sense. The true value of money its in it purchasing power not amount, i prefer a 30k that can buy me two bags of rice to a 100k that will buy same two bag of rice because the later is detrimental to economy, inflation wise including cost of living |
Wagwanbrethren:I agree with most of the things you say esp. in a sane clime, but Nigeria is different The problem of Nigeria is human factor, even the best economics policies will struggle to thrive in Nigeria. Petrol hike started since monday, the only thing that as responded is cost of transportation, But prices of commodities & services are stalling becos the market forces depict low affordability, diesel & kerosene prices are falling becos low affordability as driven demand low, Salary increment means more purchasing power in the hands of consumers, hence an increase in demand but that triggers a corresponding effect of an increase in prices. the relationship between purchasing power and inflation is like prey and the later a predator. The best way to strengthen our purchasing power is for naira to regain value not salary increment, the more naira regain value the more cost of living drops. the economy and people gain. where there is over 200% inflation pushing more money out is counter productive these is the simplest way i can explain |
Greyworld:You know abi you think you know ?? some of you are really naive Anyone that understands basic economics should know that salary increase can't solve the was problem of a currency that has no value. The best solution to all our problem is if Nigeria regains value, if naira can regain as high as #300 to a dollar Nigerians we feel true relieved, only that triggers deflation Salary increment is counter productive because it automatically triggers inflation |
Wagwanbrethren:What you people don't know the civil servant salaries increment is the main trigger of inflation where commodities are concern. Anyone that understand Nigeria very well will know that anytime govt increases the salary of workers every other thing jumps up. Fuel hike will spike inflation no doubt but the way Nigeria market & landlords respond to salary increment of workers is scarier .. naa inflation pro max The solution to the current problem is not salary increment, Govt just have to find a way to flood our markets with abundance that will drive price low, and our naira has no value that is what needs to be corrected |
Ismael97:Unfortunate the interest of the common man/Nigerians can't resuscitate the economy, for a country that uses 96% of her revenue to service and pay loan what could be more paramount that saving our economy from dying completely or is it until we end up like sri lanka, What you need to under is that, prioritizing our economy is what will yield interest for all, when the economy flourishes even the common man will flourish without waiting for govt palliatives. We have to put our emotions away and face the reality |
LOVEALAIGBO:The result Inec announce did it depict Peter Obi had zero in the north or did not get any vote in the North ... There are Igbos in the north, so Peter Obi must get vote but if elections are held 50 times in the North Peter Obi won't win one. Proof your case in court and stop rushing to social media to ejaculate prematurely |
richidinho:You are daft, One polling unit results, becos Obi won automatically Peter Obi won the overall sokoto Should i also could becos Tinubu won my polling unit in Lagos automatically Tinubu won lagos and peter obi rigged Never seen people so naive and daft like Peter Obi supporters. one polling unit and they are dancing |
SalamRushdie:i whu have prefered Gen cos that would have given a clearer result. i drive an SUV with 3.5L engine plus AC always On, i spend 12k a week on fuel, the last time i went to ibadan around may i bought fuel 11k @195 .. tro & fro what you spend fueling your car under subsidy is even more than minimum wage ... 9k × 4 = 36k monthly, minus car gbese wey person no fit predict One thing i learnt from Gazzuz tip now is that, i won't be speeding above 100km/hr again be it travel, i no mind if na midnight i go reach ibadan |
SalamRushdie:Well i don't know you so i can't say you are lying, even areas count, someone whu spends 40k to recharge electricity is definitely using high end appliances than consume energy .. How about your fuelling cost ?? |
inoki247:electricity is cheaper "than" fuel that is the discussion. with the new fuel price i will spend nothing less than 20k a month to fuel my gen, thats if i ON it 7pm to 11pm, how many people can boast they recharge 20k monthly on prepaid meter at hom those days i get angry when my dad ask me to go off the gen once its 11pm, now i go dey set alarm 8 - 10pm 🤣🤣 |
SalamRushdie:In developed countries with stable electricity people use electric cars, the problem with electric cars is acceptances into the market, globally people are more comfortable with the devil they know, In Nigeria for instances, if innoson ceo dash a nigerian a new innoson car, 80% will prefer to sell it to buy a used toyota camry or honda. Its good you use prepaid, can you tell us how much you recharge monthly, lets take it from there |
