TheManPregnant:Asides the fact that Lazarus (for one) died twice, negating "man dies once", it makes you rethink how any scripture presented as ultimate truth is at times a half truth or most times an outright falsehood. Reincarnation moreover does not necessarily negate "it is appointed for man to die once..." (Even though Lazarus died twice). Man indeed dies to give you "die once". He however is born again to "die once", again. The death and rebirth belief is not supported by the new testamentPeople will learn that there is no book written by man that is a substantial constitution for even just the earth planet alone talk more of the other planets, galaxies and the physical universe bubbling with life forms, cultures, ideals and so on that is unheard of by people of earth. The New testament for Pete's sake is after a group in Rome decided that the letters and writings of some folks in Israel be compiled as a single book to make a religious book out of it. God never wrote it, neither did we have instance of God giving precise instructions as to which book or letter must find it's way into the book's project. We do not even know who the compilers where. We in Africa only got a book said to be that from and of God. This is how religions and creeds where made! God and life is not a religous affair, man just must need or create them at certain levels of his growth and would sample them all via the several incarnations of his life learning and moving on. Truth cannot be contained in any book in it's pure state! The moment it finds it's way into a book, it MUST lose much of the truth to be able to get written or relative to the mental, emotional and even the world-view of the writer, thanks to the limits of the human element. 1 Like |

Templee333:Eckists like and strive to proof things for themselves rather than blindly believing things. The art of eExtension of Awareness (aka soul travel) into timelines that may have existed 2m yrs ago gives Eckists and many others in different other religions a tool for true knowledge. The story carries some element of reality to it. The Bible carries unbelievable truths that if the original translations and events where to be what is found today in it, Christianity and Islam especially may be totally different religions from what they are today. We (Humans) as we are known today are indeed modified by some beings from outer space. Without even Soul Travelling to when this event occurred, the Bible was clear on that. It said "let's make man in our image...". That sentence was concise and clear but today, people like to twist things just so an agenda may be upheld. This is not to mean if you reconcile that scripture with how Cain married in another land where the people where warned against harming him, you won't find that there is a lacuna dangling before you. "chariots of fire", "pillar of cloud", "tower of babel", "Lord", "Lord God", " Baal" "sons of God from heaven who fancied human girls" and so on are in-your-face screamers for: advanced technology that could teleport, space crafts, extraterrestrial administrators/ranks, positions, extraterrestrial characters (who seem like God) and so on. Language, translation, semantics and also outright crookedness of those responsible for which book made its way to what is known as the Bible took away a lot. John for instance referred to aircrafts as "flying horses" in the book of Revelations...these people and the translators lack words for these things. The timeline, continent and the actual beings involved in the events of Genesis is where reality and hearsay/outright falsehood went their separate ways. Nothing wrong with all that though. The question is how you work with all these and the level of you contact with the Light and Sound of God regardless of what you know or believe. 1 Like |

I just watched the Sci-fi movie "Infinite"(2021) that was based on the novel "The Reincarnation Papers" by D Eric Maikranz. It starred Mark Wahlberg and Nigeria's Chiwetel Ejiofor. I had read the story of a guy here on Nairaland who said his son looks and acts so much like his deceased dad that he feels afraid to as much as chide that child due to that fact. He yet still maintains this unbelieve that anything like reincarnation is a reality. I felt like spanking him in the head when I read how he was looking for answer online when it was starting him right in the face. Like what was he really looking for from the universe?, must everything be spelt out for him? So beyond belief, beyond religion or culture, anyone with experience of their past life or a close brush with this maybe like the Nairaland with a child at home who acts and talks like that person who had died? That movie by the way is about a set of guys who vividly recall who they were for several lifetimes. Please note reincarnation is different from that other story of someone dying and reappearing as they were elsewhere. |
