Yes your physical body. I did not try it...largely because I do not find it attractive or necessary. Am more concerned with Soul Travel. Although I could do it when situation warrants...for instance in a life Threatening situation. If you watched the movie Star Trek and noticed how the transport people using beams of light...it's the same thing. That machine they used is a copy of the functionality of the Astral body. Billyonaire treated such copying or recursions in one of his threads here on NL.

About healing, understand that anytime you find your self out of the body be it in the Astral Body or Soul Body, you can do and undo a lot of things including healing. Diseases don't start from the physical body, they start from the inner bodies (mental, causal and astral bodies respectively). The condition which led to the manifestation of the illness is easily detected and corrected.

The Astral Plane where all our doctors here on earth have copied their techniques and medical procedures; there are advanced hospitals, labs etc...one can be taken to these hospitals in their dreams or Soul Travel by a Spiritual Traveller for healing, and are operated on...

All in all; anything is possible...it is a life of freedom, wisdom and ultimately Divine Love (Unconditional love).

I for one stopped attending church at a time before knowing of Eckankar. At the time, I find solutions to my problems in dreams. Dream was my church and religion. I could know phone passwords, see some friends l lost contact with and how to accomplish goals and stuff in the dream.

The greatest lie is when people tell you God's love or favour comes only when you belong to their religion. God loves Soul unconditionally!!

Talking about demons and being possessed. I have first-hand experience of sharing a body with another entity while a kid . I can understand the situation between I and the other guy.... I used to be a psychic in a past life...I came into this one baring same ability and 'the other guy' wanted to share same space with me, owing to my 'advancement' long story short: we parted ways by the help of my guardian...though I can't remember how it was done.

Traditionally, some folks do 'talk' them out by cajoling, chastising etc...thats for actual demons or disembodied people. Now for the energies which haunt people, and djinns etc the easiest I know is rising above their level, this will not always work though, it depends on how the problem was created.

For instance, their are Mallams and herbalists who when consulted aid people become rich by introducing them to Djinns (some of the Elementals) who help them get wealth. Now the point is, if they give you money, you must pay! No one tells you this, but their must be a balance...Cause and effect whether your're told or not! Now these folks, binding and casting' or whatever trick one has up his sleeves won't solve the issue would it?

Many of these kids actually recently discovered a voice granted by Nairaland--which grant them an opportunity to run along the scale of idiocy. Please do not accommodate their control. Trolls will be trolls.

Actually I have learnt a lot from you. The analogy actually is just to aid the comprehension of the concepts...and help us all rethink how we have been programmed to think and behave...as most of us are yet on the machine or slave level. This leaves us prone to suggestions and manipulation by even extra-terrestrial beings.

I think the fault of the OP is assuming everyone here has this 'high consciousness' or opening of heart and mind. Rewinding back time six years back, I would find these concepts alien too.

Stepping down the discourse to 'main stream' reasoning: Jesus talked about "not believing the kingdom of God is located in any location, that it's in us". Now this 'kingdom' is 'heaven' and earth included? If yes, so all things you find in heaven is in you (microcosmically). This makes sense then that all things natural and man-made is a copy or 'recursion' of the principle of heaven, God, or whatever we will call the ultimate reality! Even the created world's (hologram) have to have an underlying principle to copy for it to seem so real and convincing.

The 'Golden proportion' also is one such recursion...which is used in architecture, Plastic surgery etc. So Billy's first discourse talks about how earth (computers etc) copies heaven (the First heaven-astral plane) or outward behaviour and action reflects inner reactions (thought,emotions etc) or "as in heaven, so it is on earth"...OR energy, outward form (shapes), Mechanics (robotics, postures),mathematics, physical body, demons, etc all represent or exemplify State Of Consciousness...of what? Soul! These states are inexhaustible.

Soul is amoebic-like it can change to any form (omnipotent) but intangible. It is not of matter, but needed matter (body) to function inside the hologram. If this discourse is to be of help to anyone: it is that outward realities even though they seem permanent or static, it can be manipulated...after all, they are your own creation in the first place. Soul uses the machines (body and mind) to play and learn, this means Causing an Effect for better or worse...

Q: I have many questions about the nature of Soul. For example, do minerals, plants, and animals have Souls?

A: An uncountable number of Souls exist in creation. There is also an endless number of forms in which Souls can find expression for spiritual unfoldment. The human form is but one of many.

On earth, we are familiar mainly with human, animal, reptile, fish, plant, and even mineral forms (like rocks, etc.).

We are a little like the theologians and others of the early Middle Ages. They believed that all human races were then known. Of course, the sea explorations by Columbus and others later revealed two whole continents (North and South America) inhabited  by a previously unknown red race. That discovery was a major threat to biblical interpretation. Red people? The Bible didn’t say anything about a red race.

The Christian Bible says nothing about Souls inhabiting forms other than humans either. Nor does it say anything about Souls living on other planets in forms not quite human. Yes Souls do.

Soul can take many different approaches  to reach purification. For example, earth allows several levels for Soul to gain experiences in life, including the mineral, plant, fish, animal, and human stages.

But there’s no fixed spiritual law about a rock having to stay a rock. Or a daisy staying a daisy.

By choice, though, most Souls want to taste life at all levels. They do go from the lower to higher body forms. So animals could move up to human. Yet that would take many lifetimes.

Sometimes, in a spirit of fun, we ask, “Why on earth would a cat want to be a kid? It’s more fun to be a cat.”

(But do you think a cat would go back to being a mouse? Probably not.)

Souls in animal forms do not get the initiations as we do. Their spiritual unfoldment is handled in other ways.

A Soul that today inhabits an animal form will later be offered other life-forms, perhaps even human, when It is ready for a higher stage.

Entering a human body on the physical plane is indeed an optimal experience for all Souls who are given that choice. But the same is also true for Souls who are given the choice to enter an animal or plant form.

The point: Everything is within its rightful place in the Kingdom of God.

Since Soul is invisible, for the most part, and not subject to analysis in a scientific laboratory, Its nature remains a matter of speculative belief or personal experience.

The purpose of the Eckankar teachings is to give the individual proof of the nature of Soul in a way that is meaningful to him. When and how this is done depends upon the Mahanta, who determines the best time and place.

I wish to talk about some idea l've been ruminating on:

Firstly,about Energy. I see energy as a by-product...of the ECK. That energy is a state of the ECK at a given time and space...what do you think?

Secondly, the air breathed in isn't chiefly oxygen...the ECK is also...(OK l just got a notion that Oxygen too is a state of the ECK... )...continuing, we also breath in Ether. Now l think the nomenclature is confusing me, is ECK same as Ether?

Third, Fasting: Does it have a bearing on how much ECK one gathers? as in store up...l know their are ways one can gather ECK momentum. Is fasting one of such or is strictly for self discipline? Thanks.

PS:I see fasting as a discipline which helps one come in tandem with the ECK ways.

Given the understanding and fact that whatever one imagines exists...that is, nobody can imagine anything outside of creation...then 'Demons' are just ONE out of the numerous 'ugly things' and 'beautiful things' that already in existence throughout the diverse universes of Creation.

This actually means you can't make idle comment as "...that's just in your imagination" . This also means we didn't "create" them, but simply 'embraced' or 'accepted' them...by first looking at them (using the other eye tagged "imagination" ) and BELIEVING they influence us or are responsible for our predicaments...this creates a link or affinity with them...a kind of "like attracts like" condition. Any one can attract anything both imaginary, visual or sensual...

Consequently, there are indeed dead or discarnate people who died and hang around physical environments which are called Demons. Also there are the conditions which afflict people...thanks to their belief or mental creation.
