Politics › Re: Donald Trump Snubs Buhari, Calls Other World Leaders by ChimaAdeoye: 4:59pm On Nov 12, 2016
[size=14pt]Buhari donated $500 million dollars to make sure Trump lost in the elections. He failed to achieve his wish.

Trump knows Buhari is a despot dictator who has thinly veiled hatred for him. He will put Buhari in his place at the appropriate time.

Not calling Buhari is the least of the things lined up for Buhari. He should sit back relax and watch it come to him.

That $500 million dollars war chest funds Buhari donated against Trump, when Buhari's countrymen were dying from starvation in the northeast and without power or water speaks volumes about Buhari's hatred for President Donald J. Trump.

Politics › Re: Ongoing FG Road Projects In The South-East In Pictures by ChimaAdeoye: 4:33pm On Nov 12, 2016
[size=13pt]Bunch of bloody liars.

The FG owes N48 billion to Anambra state alone for the work they did on federal roads. Buhari bluntly refused to reimburse the state simply because they are Igbo areas. Even though, FG gave permission for those repairs and Fashola promised to do something.
The last one being the huge erosion at Nkpor that threatened the flyover bridge there and the Awkuzu area Obiano working on now.

Enugu state government under Chime spent billions of naira to fix federal roads. Again, Buhari flatly refused to reimburse the state because they are the hated 5% in APC regime.

Other states run by APC in the SE like Imo hasn't even fared better. Inspite of Okoro-hausa licking the ass of his masters from Sokoto and Daura.

Anyhow, Like jews outlived Hitler and the Nazis, Ndigbo shall outlive Buhari and all his wickedness.

Politics › Re: Obiano Plunges Anambra Into $63M Debt - DMO (pic) by ChimaAdeoye: 4:21pm On Nov 12, 2016
[size=13pt]Useless APC propaganda.

There no doubt that Obiano has maintained a sterling performance...and he tied a few loans to key projects. Unlike APC states that borrowed money to pay salaries or took Buhari's bailout to rig elections for APC

Even Buhari himself is asking for a whopping $30 Billion dollars not million to squander on questionable projects. Remember that during Obasanjo's rule when we had $32 billion foreign debt, and exchange rate was N112 to the dollar, we were already unable to service the debts. What will happen when Buhari adds $30 billion dollars to the existing $13 billion and the exchange rate is at N400 naira. Where will Nigeria find the money in a recession to service a $43 billion dollars foreign debt?

APC should first focus on their states where APC is milking those states and forcing the governors to collect loans to fund the evil party, before talking about the well governed Anambra.

Politics › Re: Abia Government Constructs Highway In Arochukwu Forest(pictures) by ChimaAdeoye: 4:11pm On Nov 12, 2016
[size=13pt]Glad that they are finally putting GUTTERS!

I wondered why SE governors will construct roads without gutters, knowing that the area has one of the highest rainfall belt on the planet.

Without drainage gutters, no road in the SE can last beyond one month in the rainy seasons. Peter Obi remains my hero simply for understanding this fact about SE topography and weather to construct ALL his roads with good drainage gutter. Thus, many of them are still good today.

Propaganda animals everywhere!

Which road is Buhari repairing in the entire SE?

The only road part of Enugu-Onitsha expressway being repaired is the part Enugu state governor just recently awarded and the part Obiano has been struggling to do around Awkuzu area.

[size=13pt]Very useless visit.

You are visiting a vindictive bigot that still sees Nigerians as 5% that didn't vote for him and you think he will listen to you?

Buhari is plotting the breakaway of Arewa republic and does not care for constituent part of Nigeria nor the need to run an inclusive government for national unity.

Anyway, na una sabi. Speak for yourselves.

Politics › Re: NBS: Nigeria Records $1.82bn Capital Inflow In Q3 by ChimaAdeoye: 3:06am On Nov 09, 2016
agwom:
Nigeria imported a total of $1.82 billion capital into the economy at the third quarter of 2016, more than double the value imported at the second quarter of the year.
Data released yesterday by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed that the latest capital import value was $780 million higher than the $1.04 billion imported at the second quarter of this year, translating to a 74.84 percent rise.

Analysis of the data showed that the highest level of capital imported was in August, when $894 million was imported, the highest level since July last year.
The NBS attributed the rise in the capital import at the third quarter to “a number of investment types.”
However, total capital imported declined by 33.70 percent in Q3 2016 from $2.67 billion same period last year.
“Much of the quarterly increase in the value of capital importation came from debt financing,” the NBS stated.
“Of the total quarterly increase, 85 percent was accounted for by increases in portfolio investment in bonds and money market instruments; the latter of which comprises short-term funding securities such as treasury bills and commercial bills from CBN,” it said.
Capital is either imported in the form of shares, or directly imported by different sectors of the economy.
During the period, the value of share capital imported was $646.28 million, which represents an increase of 85.72% relative to the previous quarter.
The banking sector regained its position as the sector to import the largest value of capital, importing $555.52 million worth, or 30.49 percent of the total.
The report said quarterly growth in foreign direct investment (FDI) equity was also strong, although portfolio equity continued to decline.
Each type of investment, being FDI, portfolio and other investments, recorded quarterly increases, of 84.84 percent; 5,172.84 percent t and 7.80 percent respectively.
The country from which Nigeria imported by far the most capital was the United Kingdom, which accounted for $1.10 billion, or 60.24 percent of the total.

Litmus:
In spite of what the post above the one above states, one of Nigeria's greatest weaknesses as a Nation is the penchant for pointing the finger at one another. Four months ago or longer, I recall mentioning that Nigeria should watch out when France began stationing UAV's in Cameroon. I recall mentioning that the UAV's would be watching Nigeria troop movements as much as anything else. The French are never to be trusted.
[size=13pt]Very soon, it will be the French importing Janjaweeed from Kenya to fight Nigeria.

Lol... you guys are sick! When will you guys tell the truth that sending all the troops to Niger Delta to fight the elusive militants has dangerously depleted the number of Nigeria soldiers fighting Boko Haram in the northeast?

[size=14pt]Finally our people have awakened to our responsibility to our land.

The problem with Nigeria is OIL and all the crimes committed by people to steal the OIL from its owners.

Nigeria should give the oil to its owners and let everyone use what is in their region to prosper. Then there will be total peace and massive development in Nigeria.

Politics › Re: Federal Government Leaves Out South East In Projects From $29.96B FOREIGN LOAN by ChimaAdeoye: 10:09pm On Oct 31, 2016
Sirlovings:
It seems you have not spent time travelling around Nigeria, I have had the opportunity to travel most states in Nigeria and I can tell you that south east has the least Federal government projects since independence.

People like you are always quick to accuse others of sentiments when the government policy benefits you and your region.
If this government fix the ever busy Enugu/Onitsha express way, will it not benefit other Nigerians? I have seen some federal roads in the North that you can literally count the number of few vehicles that apply on them each day.

How about the second Niger Bridge? (It has been subjected to DBFOT basis for a period of 25 years. Meaning that most part of it will be paid by south east motorists through road use TOLL.

The same federal government is spending billions looking for oil in the North but Anambra state had to use state limited fund for similar oil exploration which ended up successful.

How about setting up a coal power plant in Enugu which will cost less and will likely add over 5000MW to the national grid. Most countries (China, US, etc...)still run their coal plants with new technology because of the low cost of running it.

Please stop being insensitive to the unfortunate plight of others. South East and North East have least Federal government projects.

Like I said before, Nigeria will remain undeveloped and hugely divided if Nigerian politicians keep thinking the same way you do.

On a personal note, whether Federal government extend development to all parts of the country or not, it wouldn't affect me much or members of my immediate family as we are also NZ citizens which is one of the best countries in the world and we love it here. But I can't look away, abhor hate or be insensitive just like you.

You can't just sit at home and read news from newspapers or your phone and come here to type nonsense. I suggest you travel around Nigeria, go to South East and North East, then compare the federal government projects within them with that of your region.
Maybe you are also living outside the country but have not visited Nigeria for many years because you seem far from the reality.
Bro,
Don't mind those that dream of a prosperous Nigeria, but will rejoice at injustice meted to sections of Nigeria. The truth, is that Buhari has shamelessly continued to demonstrate that there is no basis for Nigerian unity.

[size=13pt]This is just slush funds for the next elections and you know it.

The problem is that Nigeria simply will be dragged into another unsustainable debt trap again where we spend 45% of our budget just to service interest accrued from the debts and not even to pay back.

If we can barely maintain our infrastructure even with the whole 100% of our budget under our control, think what will happen when you have only 55% - 60% of what is available now to run the entire country.
