Nigeria does not need to break up if we are sincere to address the injustice and cheating inherent in the current set up. We must go back to true fiscal federalism as we were supposed to be. Once the cheating arrangement of using resources from one region to fund another region is stopped, we can discuss how to live in mutual harmony. So the Governor should now allow the cattle readers in the middle of the city because of Kwankwaso? If cattle rearers were from Ijaw or Igbira, and causing havoc in their present location in the city center of Enugu, would Kwankwaso fly to come and say city planners should leave the Ijaw cattle rearers in the city center? In fact, would Kwankwanso have tolerated Igbo cattle rearers setting up in the center of Kano and causing massive traffic issues with their trailers? They did the same thing when Peter Obi was cleaning up bridgehead area of Onitsha. Today, everyone is happy with the free flow of traffic there. |

loopmangoat:Exactly. Igbos really don't need presidency now. Igbos need to live in freedom, away from oppression from anyone. If Biafra is what freedom means, then we should all support it. If restructured Nigeria will bring freedom, then so be it. That presidency thing is a mere distraction that can be tackled later. For now supporting a northern progressive such as Atiku will make more sense as we address this issue of treating Igbos as second class citizens of Nigeria and the SE as an alien territory.
