Honestly, I do not believe in JUJU.

It only works if you believe it works. It all in the mind. Just like your prayers, they only work if you believe your God exists. undecided undecided undecided

So if I was that guy I wouldn't worry. No Human Being has power over another Human Being unless they allow them to.

Already she has worked on his psyche and made him believe she has those powers. angry angry angry angry

jamngr84: yes oh they are neglected, but u do not c them going on a raping, killing or drinking rampage. unlike in europe or Us were the mental are in safe custody and most of the perfectly sane go on child abuse(uk) killing spree (usa) and drinking and smoking at a very young age.
I am very disappointed.Clearly you do not understand anything about Public Health.

One of the indicators of a progressive society is Public Health Care offered to its citizens including ( Community Health, Education, Mental Health etc ).
You come here beating your chest for physically abusing helpless people, and you condoning the act as a measure to control themhuh? How pathetic can you get? angry angry angry angry angry

If the government fails to take care of Epileptic patients talkless of ADHD or Mental health patients, you think its ok. You thinks its ok to abuse mentally challenged people. undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

You are really a disappointment. smh

Get your self some education on Public Health, Mental Health, Primary Health Care and Community Health. It will do you good if you understand what all those three entail and what is your role, the FG role are before you disappoint next time. undecided undecided

jamngr84: the simple truth of the matter is that children in the UK or Europe are pampered and when they cant pay attention or are not behaving normally, they say they have one form of disorder. If that child had grown up in Nigeria, i believe he would have learnt to pay attention at an early age as a little floogging would have ensured that he pays attention.
My advise, if u dont want to put him in a disable school, u had better leave him there or let that disorder be cured by some little discipline.
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin Black parents.smh.

I came across your likes, that's why mental disorders/ mental health are neglected in Nigeria grin grin grin grin grin.

OP, I understand your concern,

what type of ADHD was your son diagnosed with??

ADHD - Predom Inattentive -
He can go to a normal school, though you have to closely manage the situation. Report to the teacher and also request the teacher not to tell other kids as it stigmatize the child thereby academic perfomance worsens and possibility of Depression. No joke managing Depression + ADHD. If he cant cope then you can move him to a special school.

ADHD - Hyper Impulsive -
ADHD - Combined

For these two I suggest a special school. Looking at the society, and what facilities and support can be offered to you and your child, your child is likely to be expelled, always in trouble, be bullied and be a bully.

As for what the government offers, its hard even for practitioners in Nigeria to practice because of lack of governmental support and structures. There are very few Psychologist and Psychiatrists who can give you parental support.

If you read what you quoted me on,i did acknowledge that I have shortcomings. Though I did not list them. I did not say I am an angel hence I am slack on judgement.

Besides, I am the one who is evaluating him against my standards. He has to meet my standards.

Nonetheless he is also at liberty to evaluate me against his standards. For now, its me assessing him against my standards, i don't see anything wrong with that smiley smiley smiley smiley

EBK2: I hope it goes well with you. I don't underestimate the challenge you are facing and sorry if I came across harsh or judgemental. That wasn't the intention and it doesn't benefit my to do so. I was giving you my objective assessment based on your initial remarks.
This is not something you can handle alone. Since you still have so many questions, doubts and lack of peace about this move, I suggest you suspend all plans and spend some bit of time talking to God and close male relations of yours until you feel the peace in you for the next steps. You can't go wrong if you do these two things.
All the best.
cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy You will be surprised that I take all Nairaland advises not with a pinch size. I take all advises serious. There is nothing personal for me, I don't know about you. You did not come across as harsh at all. You only came across as judgemental, which is fine, because the reason why I opened a thread is obviously to get objective judgements somehow undecided undecided undecided undecided

As I said we still have to go for marital counselling/ classes, which normally takes no less than 6 months, so I still have a lot of time on my hands to ponder through things. I have suspended introduction so the ''supposedly engagement " is our secret until marriage classes are done. ( lucky my family is far). All other benefits still stand grin grin grin grin grin grin

As for male family, honestly, they are a no go area. They are very very protective of me. So whatever I tell them they become very subjective, controlling and overprotective. I think they have certain very high expectations of me which are totally the opposite to my expectation undecided undecided undecided

Then again they have been trying to kind of hook me with man I have no interest in for a very long time. It can be really emotionally suffocating, hence Nairaland was the best and perhaps objective platform for me.

Prayer has been my source of strength, but now God doesn't communicate in voices but in action undecided undecided undecided

I appreciate all your criticism etc. No matter what my outcome I will communicate to the people on this thread and thank them for their efforts and advice. cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy thanks a ton.

HumbledbYGrace: Headboard is that thing tha comes with the bed and dressing table, mostly three piece. But I love the picture you added though the thingy looks too warm, what about when its Summer? You know how hot S.A is during the summer season.
@ highlighted cheesy cheesy cheesy No luv, this is also called headboard. It doesn't need to come with bed and dressing table to be called a headboard.

I understand in SA terms. Alot of houses would have that type, where the two pedestals are attached to the headboard and not removable. With a matching dressing table.

Listen to the word " Head" and a " board" Don't worry, we are all on a journey of acquiring knowledge.

With regards to warm, your headboard material has no effect on temperature. People have leather couches in winter and summer. Leather is cold in winter but does not get warm because is summer. Does is make any difference?

The headboard is so affordable. In some places going for roughly R2000 ( +/- $200 )
The wingback chair is roughly R1500.00 ( +/- $200 ) can be supplemented with a tub chair as well going for almost the same price

Thanks, though I am not a wall paper fan, but I will consider it.

Side boards?? Do you mean pedestalshuhhuh Whats a sideboard? Isn't a sideboard what you get in the dining roomhuh huh huh

I just discovered some few areas that sell nice pieces at a cheaper price. Wetherley's etc.

Looking at my personality and my developmental milestone, I don't think a wall paper will give me what I want. undecided undecided undecided

But I think my bedroom will have too much influence of the attached pics.

What do you think
RomanceRe: Marrying A Man With More Than One Child From One Woman by chineloSA(op): 5:25am On Oct 26, 2013
EBK2: Judge yourself by all the points in your original remarks. If you think this man has changed, if you think you and your kid will not end up like the baby mama and her kids, if you think that the two kids are not going to come back and be an issue, if you think that a man that brought two kids into the world and abandoned them should be your husband and finally, if you think that you will have a happy marriage knowing this man and all about him, then go ahead. Pls note, don't count the counselling for anything. You have made up your mind before that counsel or even coming to seek advice in NL. The fundamentals are utterly flawed purely because you crossed a line with him before checking him out and your decision ability is weakened because of how far you went with him before now.
My suggestion is that you seek a wise counsel preferably from the closest male figure in your life eg dad, brother uncle etc and follow your heart which appears to differ with your head at the moment. Pls don't hide behind the guise of imperfection and judgement and get this wrong. Marriage is not a joke and if you get it wrong, that's a big chunk of your life gone and a huge price you don't want pay. Get a wise counsel ma'am.
Loud and clear. Thanks smiley smiley smiley smiley smiley

We have a " VIGINADONTIST" in the house grin grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

What we all forget is that vajayjay is one of the cleanest places in a womans body, which natuarally cleans itself on a daily basis through ( shedding of the skin and also monthly periods ) without any unnatural intervention. We just douche and finger scrub as woman because we get paranoid, thats all.

ALISMILE: Let me tell u a beta way of doin it than that medicated douche stuff.Although am a guy but i understand these tins. The best soap for that area is an ordinary toilet soap, rub ur hand wit d soap and wash d surface area, then insert one of fingers and roll it inside. Then pure in enough water and flush out. Wen u re tru it will be as fresh and as cul as an ice cream. Try it baby.
grin grin grin grin grin grin grin

Eeeeeeew, no ways. Toilet Soap causes, vaginal candida, its also not ph balanced. Some soaps are even harsh for a mere skin. So no ways in hell am I gonna do that.
Just water from the tap is also not good ( can have too much chlorine ),and still has plenty bacteria after going through old pipes before it gets to your house, better distilled water. So Betadine douche works for me. No nail action. grin grin grin grin

I love that part of my body, I take very good care of it. grin grin grin grin
