Where is Agbado station ?. |
Well, just found out that the Ajayi case was posted earlier. But, still "dayokanu"does not need to go searching for an ÏGBO' case just for the sake of retaliation. I read Ajayi's case in the Punch, not on NL. Enough of this tribal rivalry. I stand by my other comment. |
DAYOKANU, I Think you are a very sick man. You obsessive hatred towards the Igbos is about to consume you. This post is nothing but a warped response to the American based yoruba nurse Mr. Ajayi who sexually violated a woman in coma (near dead) and took pictures with his own phone. Ajayi's case made news headlines in respectable Nigerian papers. Njoku's case is not different to the Mike Tyson case or even that of president Clinton. Two consenting adults alone in an enclosed place. Who is telling the truth ?. Mr. Ajayi fondled a near DEAD woman. That is sick. Something Dayokanu would do. It's in their culture to take advantage of children, mad women and very vulnerable women. YOU JUST HAD TO GO AND DIG THIS OUT. Why did''nt you post the Ajayi case too. Yoruba's have the highest incest rate in Nigeria. They know no boundaries. |
Added, is the latest pic of the Beamer covered in snow. Send a mail if interested. Say how much you can pay. I just want to do someone a favour here. |
chillbabe:I think it will cost about N175k through Cotonou and between 200 and 220 through Lagos. There are many clearing agents on this forum. Maybe they can provide you with the exact amount. As around in Nigeria. This offer will be available till the 27th of February. |
werepeLeri:In which planet do you live in ?!!. What a warped logic. If the govt does not offer inflated contracts, there will be no inflated contracts to take. The demons of corruption are the public servants who provide contracts in which as much as 50% kickback and bribes are built into the estimates. What do you expect the poor contractor with a wife or wives and childeren to do?. The Nepa bills we've all been paying for years, how much of it actually go into the govt accounts ?. It's up to the government to enforce the anti corruption laws. The reason you can never get your way with the police or customs in Nigeria is because the corporal at the checkpoint collecting "roger"is collecting for both himself and the ASP at the office. So whom will you report or complain to. They will frustrate the life out of you. |
@ EXECUTINAL, Forget about resource controle. Our biggest and most damaging problem is CORRUPTION. I don't think you know the extent and gravity of this problem. It was said the OBJ spent $13billion on power projects. Where are the projects and where is the power generated. If any European nation spends $13b on anything, the multiplier effect of the singular expenditure will run into 100s of billion, if not $1trillion. In Nigeria it's zero. Because the money was budget, allocated, withdrawn and then just vanished. Can no longer be traced. Who will control those resources when you get it ?. The same thieves who control it now ?. Lets go the Chinese way. |
Now they're talking. This is the sort of protests Nigeria needs now. The entire Arab spring protest that forced change of regimes in North Africa including the death of Ghaddafi was against corruption. Fuel subsidy was not the problem, but the massive corruption that went with the implementation. I have never carried placard for anything in Nigeria before, but i am ready to march with force to the National assembly. How can we allow these people to collect N42m every 3 months in the name of allowances. N42M PER QUARTER !!. That is outrageous. I have never seen nor heard the buffon that represents my consitituency say anything on the floor of the house or even on the newspapers. He is contributing zero to both the nation and his constituency. These dishonourable members together with the corrupt public servants in the MDAs are the main reason prices of properties have skyrocketed in Nigeria. The bulk of stolen public fund is packed in real estates in Abuja and Lagos. Let me know when we will occupy the NASS. |
Let me know when the price per plot drops to N500k. I may purchase 3 plots then. Despite all your attempts to impress us with pictures, that location is still in the bush bush. I was offered a better plot of land at MOWE early last year for N450K which i rejected. I never knew how removed the place was from Lagos until i went for inspection. Your property is even further away. I think most of you property developers just quote your prices thinking that buyers are morons. It's not about how much you quote as price, but how many plots you ACTUALLY sell The guy that puts his own at N4m per plot at such a location will eventually have to his clansmen there to live. The prices you guys fix has absolutely nothing to do with the real value of the land. |
Are you nuts ?!!. N100,000 agency and agreement fees on a rent of N240k per year. You're not doing the Landlord any favour by charging this ridiculous amount. This is not being smart. It's downright stupid. If i was in Lagos right now, i would make sure you lose that flat. Why don't you build your own house and rent out. I can tell you right now that the flat will be rented behind your back. |
The agents are and have always been the problem. First of all no bank in Nigeria charges 45 to 50% interest. So don't exaggerate. No property developer would be stupid enough to take a loan at 50%. Would you do that?. Most of those flats in Ikosi/Alapere were built 20 years ago. The Landlord has already recovered the bulk of his investment. I can tell you categorically, that no property developer owns a single block at Magodo. They are all privately owned houses, built mostly by corrupt civil servants, ex military and police officers. The bulk of the money used to build them are looted public funds. My house then was owned by a top civil servant based in Abuja. When i insisted that i can not pay more than 5 % agency fee, he opted to settle the agent himself as long as i'm willing to take the house. It's pure money laundering. 60% of the estates built by property developers at Lekki are lying fallow. No buyers and no tenants. So it's not all a sellers market as you think. The reasons the rents are still high is becsause the banks that repossesed the properties can afford to leave them empty for a long time until some foreign oil or bank employees show up. Most property developers are running at a huge loss now. The key to a succesfull property biz is quick turnover. So i will advice you, Lanredo to reduce your charges and rent as many flats as possible instead of looking for that one big kill. Why should i pay 10% agency fee when the bank is paying me 1.2% on my term deposit. THE GREEDY AGENTS ARE THE PROBLEM. PERIOD. |
Forget about the club, pub or lounge bit, MOST Nigerian girls won't even take themselves to certain eatries and restaurants unless a man is offering. It amazes me how the so called campus girl in Lagos will sit alone at a mamaput eating rice straight from a nylon wrap. But as soon as you ask them out, they want to go to Tantalizers and Tasty fried chicken. I do get a lot of laugh in Lagos watching them. Poster is right to an extent. Most Nigerian girls do not take themselves out. |
, besides the agent is not my agent but the agent of the Landlord. So paying agency fee is optional. That is why i can never give anyone 10% agency fee. Nigerians don't seem to understand that 10% of any thing is a huge amount. The landord has given you the contract to look for a tenant to rent his flat. If you find a tenant for him, the Landlord pays you. 'nuff said. |
lanredo:I don't think you are a serious business man. Greedy agents remain the problem in the property and rental business. There must be miniflats around Ketu for N160k. But you guys will not allow the Landord to rent it at that price. You will start telling him bullshit about the market price and location. I personally DO NOT pay more than 5% as agency fee. Believe you me, i've rented apartments in Magodo, where i lived for quite a long time. Never payed more than 5 %. The mini flat, i need for someone else. I'm quite sure i will get one as soon as i hit Lagos. Such talk as "mallam is your water supplier" tells me you are not a serious property agent. |
Na Today ?!!! |
The landlords are not the problem. The agents are the biggest problem in renting apartments in Lagos. If a Landlord who probably built his house 20yrs ago wants to rent a mini flat for N150k, the agents would convince him to put it at N200k. That way they will get more on the %age agency fees. They influence the Landlords to increase the rent as well as the length of pay. Many Landlords will be happy to accept 1 year rent. But the greedy agents would want to make more money at once, hence they convince him to mark the rent for 2 yrs. Anyway, Lanredo, if you have a mini flat around Ikosi, alapere axis for N170k tops let me know. I would take it pronto. |
I may have a wonderful offer for you. I'm also interested in Transport and logistics. Contact me @chinomnazu@yahoo.com. |
Sagamite:I don't think they were dancing to "Busting loose"though. |
Offer is still on. Contact me as stipulated. |
I'm a meat pie person myself. Gala too dry. But N70 is way too much. |
Oh my God!!. i remember him very well with his baritone voice and sharp suits. Why would he kill himself?. I really cannot fathom people who commit suicide. As long i have food to eat and women to sleep with ( even if na ashi), ain't never killing myself for anything and for no nobody. |
This could arrive Lagos or Cotonou middle of March. Serious buyers only. |
A clean, well used BMW 318 is available for medium income Nigerians. Car is still in Europe. I will take care of the shippment while the buyer will take care of the clearing costs. You can choose to have the car shipped to Lagos or Cotonou. I just want to give the average Nigerian an opportunity to own a good car. Car is in very good condition. What a stupid and cowardly post. i don't know why admin allows such idiotic post. This fool with a fake Igbo name could not even summon the courage to use LAGOS. He had to use "Bauchi' inorder to avoid the stones that would be thrown at him. NO SANE IGBOMAN WILL BUILD A N20m HOUSE IN BAUCHI. BUT WE WILL BUILD A N500m HOUSE IN LAGOS. Yes we're co-owners of Lagos. The way Jews own New-York is the way Igbos own Lagos. No shaking at all. |
Lagos is everyones land yet only one tribe can rule. be king, governor etc

So why hasnt ibo ruled Lagos? Why didnt Ojuku rule Lagos? To be honest with you. . . . ibo had more chance of ruling anywhere in Yorubaland under Awolowo than you do under the current generation of Yorubas. Awo was kind to you all. . . this generation want to fvck you up.There is a bill in the NASS right now to change that clause. It has nothing to do with the Yorubas .It's something we all agreed on in the present constitution. Alhaji maitama Sule was the Major of Enugu in the '70s. Very soon place of domicile will be used as a criteria for contesting governorship. However, i don't even think Igbos in Lagos are interested in that. Lagos is just geographically located in SW of Nigeria. But, it is by no means a Yoruba state. Even the name "Lagos"was chosen for that territory. It is not a Yoruba word. So you guys had better accept it and move on. If you want to live in Yoruba land, move to Osun, Ondo or Oyo state. Lagos has been occupied since the 19th century. |
@tpia, thanks for the picture. I really don't know her. Dat woman in the pic na oyibo woman na !!. Anyway, i'm not really a movie person. But i'm glad homeboy Chinwetalu would be in the movie. I would definitely be watching. I like Regina askia though. There should no mention of Shan George here, abeg. |
For all you dumbskull ethnic bigots here,Fashola said Ojukwu was a true LAGOSIAN and as such deserves to be celebrated in Lagos. I would like to remind the Yoruba bigots and ethic idiots here that LAGOS DOES NOT BELONG TO YORUBA PEOPLE. You do not have to be Yoruba to be a Lagosian. Over 60% or Lagosians are NOT Yoruba people. OSUN, ONDO are Yoruba states. Lagos is not. If you guys ever dreamed you would have Lagos as it is today by an eventual break up of Nigeria, you're in for a rude shock. The investments of other Nigerians- Hausa, Igbo, Edo, South south in Lagos are so enormous that the Yorubas dare not open their mouth to claim Lagos. Your cowardly selfs CANNOT handle the consequencies. ![]() |
Who is Thandie newton ?. I don't really think i know her. But CHINWETALU EJIOFOR (Not chiwetel for me) is good enough for me. At least we have an IGBOman there. Looking forward to seeing the movie. The book was awesome. |
How much is "Cheap" . i may send down a 1994 BMW through you if the price is right. Send quotation to chinomnazu@yahoo.com |
@knowledge4, Your analysis is very concise. If i decide to start and finance such a business, would you run it for me?. Or at least be part of the upstart as a consultant ?. |
You people have to be reasonable with the prices. I was offered a plot of land at MOWE last year for N500,000 which i rejected. How come your's is N2m ?. If you get too greedy, you will never sell a single plot of land. If you have anyone in the neigbourhood of IBAFO for N1m, let me know. i'm a "serious buyer' |
