Not that Drake and B.o.B are so similar but they are in the sense that they don't give you your typical rap music, which is mostly rapping, they create sub-genres within rap music. You'd have to embrace this "new movement' in order to appreciate their music.

If you were listening to B.o.B before the debut album, maybe your opinion of his music would change.

1. The girl is still a child. For the love of peace, at least let her become a teenager/fully enjoy her childhood/get some ability to know what she wants to become when she grows up rather than deciding for her.
2. This whole thing just appears to be an attempt by Will Smith and Jada to make sure all their kids become famous. His son, Jaden, was made the star of a movie Will Smith directed titled the Karate Kid. That movie has sequels the boy would also star in.
What if the children grow up and wisen up to find out that they actually want to be engineers or accountants or scientists?

I don't think anyone decided for her. Did having celebrity parents influence her decision? Probably. But are they the one doing the singing for her? Obviously she does have the talent. You forget that they have an older son, who's about 17/18 who isn't into the show biz like his siblings, he wants to play football or something. How come the parents didn't also push him into the industry? If you watch any of their interviews, they claim to support their children in whatever dreams they choose to pursue.

As for leaving them to be kids, we can see what could still happen even if they're left to be kids in the case of Montana Fish. . . you do the math.

Depends on whether I'm feeling whatever they're churning out then, has nothing to do with age for me. I actually appreciated hip hop more as I got older.
There are mature and childish rappers, you just gotta look harder for the former just like R&B has childish and mature artists but nobody criticizes it because it's R&B and it's supposedly soft compared to rap, which can be aggressive.

You're probably right, I enjoyed Lupe's verse in 'Past my shades' more than B.o.B's and I liked the Eminem version of Air planes. The hook by the Hayley Williams chick was good too. @poster, you should really find a way to get the so-called revelation out of her. Or tell her you'll go ahead with the marriage if she doesn't tell you 'cause really, it makes no sense to tell someone not to do something without explaining why. That method is only used with kids - "Because I said so!". You're obviously not a kid and should not be treated like one.

Lastly, one thing I'll always say about marriage and parents' opinion is to ask yourself one question: are you the one who'll spend the rest of your life with that person or will your parents? YOU! So, if you feel the person is right for you, that's all that really matters(yea, it's not that simple) although it's nice to have parents' acceptance but if not, it's still your marriage, they've lived theirs so whatever problems you encounter in the marriage is your OWN burden not your parents'.
