PoliticsWhy We Must Divide by chrishenzo(op): 2:36pm On Sep 22, 2009
Nigeria is never a country but a little continent. Whoever call Nigeria a country is deluding himself. Before you criticize me, ask yourself this question " What is a country and what makes it country?"
Sometime ago, I was chatting with a friend and he asked me "How long do you think it will take me(him) to learn Nigeria language and culture?" I told him that he should be prepared to dedicate his next 20years studying Nigerian languages and cultures. The next question he asked was " what makes it a country since the speaking, writing, and culture differs? It is like bring the Germans, English and UK and call them one country."

It is clear that the present situation in Nigeria has been caused by some group of people that doesn't have the clue of leadership. When I said this, I'm referring to the Hausas. I don't want to upset anyone's anger but it is true that 80% percent of the Hausa lack what it takes to lead. The religion which most of them practise has beclouded their sense of reasons. It even make the situation more worst.

Coming to the international image of the country, I will blame the Yorubas and Igbos.

80% of the frauds (online scam and credit card theft) are done by the Yorubas. I will refused to blame the Hausa because most of them don't know how to operate computers nor are so eager to become rich over night. My fellow Yorubas out there, don't be so upset but read with an open mind. An average yoruba guy will tell you the names of all the foreign embassies in Nigeria( but he might not have travelled for once), because he has their profile in his oduwale file. Notwithstanding, there are still decent Yorubas out there who make their livings from hard work.

As for the Igbos, it is hard to come across an Igbo man who doesn't have a relation or friends that doesn't deal on drugs. Due to some culture, belief and status, an Igbo man can cross a fire just to collect some bags of pounds at the other end( even when he die at the middle of the fire, believe me his spirit will still be pursuing the money).Due to this act, they have been destroying the country's image because of their drug issues.

Finally, ethnicity is not helping us at all. Some folks here have been shouting " We need biafra, we need oduduwa, etc( though I haven't heard an Hausa talking of separation)"We are just like oil and water in one container; they will never mixed but can touch. Some folks here have been shouting " We need biafra, we need oduduwa, etc( though I haven't heard an Hausa talking of separation)" Whoever thinks that ethnicity is not playing a role in the country's situation, is nothing but another Alice in wonder land.

I think some states will experience more development more than it is today assuming that Nigeria divides tomorrow. But the most important thing is that there will be more peace.
My final question is this, Who and What is keeping us together?

Now I do understand while there are many people in Nigeria living another man's life. After reading most of the response, the only three conclusion that came to my mind are these:-
1. Most Nigerians think through their anus.
2. Most still think the way they do when they were 5years old.
3. I pity them.

Concerning the poster, the only advice I will give you is "YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT"

RomanceRe: Why Do Ladies Run From Nice Guys by chrishenzo: 8:51am On Aug 28, 2009
I have been going through the response of people but none has describe the real meaning of nice guy or bad guy. Before I can say any thing, I would like someone to tell me what it really means by being nice or being bad. From my own perspective, I think girls don't like bad guys. They only like someone that can get going when the going get tough, someone that is brave to face any responsibility, someone who can keep the atmosphere lively even when there is nothing to discuss. Another reason for standing on my views(girls like good guys/brave guys), no girl would like to shear his man with another girl. If she truly love the guy, she will like to keep him for herself alone. By trying to stop the guy from being a casanova, she is planting some good behaviour inside the guy.

Throughout my years of life, I have never come across a girl who said "Hey look, I love a criminal, murderer, rapist, I am looking forward to date one.

My next question is this, if girls really like bad guys why do bad guys also complain of their girls cheating on them?

Finally, I believe that if you are a "REAL MAN" girls must surely love you. By real man, I mean knowing what you want and going there to get it, being a driver and not a passenger, knowing the right words to say and the right time to say it.

where did she tell um she will continue sch
who are her relatives outside anambra state
who were her old friends at sch etc etc
You asked a good question.
Regarding to the first question, we took the entrance exam and no one knows where he/she will be posted nor whether he/she will enroll in a private school. We were still kids then and 90percent of our decisions were being handled by our parents.
Down to the second and third questions, I only know her mother but I'm afraid that I won't recognize her(mother)again. As for her friends, I ran into one of them some few years back but she doesn't know her whereabouts.

I have searched for many years but I didn't get any information. Her name is Ogochukwu Obi, from Ojoto in Anambra State. The last time I saw her was during the school graduation and that was in the year 1996. The name of the school is St Vincent De Paul.

I have searched many networking websites but all was in vain. The information I gave above was the only thing I could remember about her. I hope somebody will give me some information about her.
PoliticsRe: How Do You Feel As A Nigerian After Reading This! by chrishenzo: 1:39pm On Jun 12, 2009
It is a pity how many Nigerians have been beclouded by what the media say. Many Nigerians have lost all hopes.

Hackney, you called your country a hellish dump. Please tell me what I should call a person that sees no future. Have you been to hell before? The problem that most Nigerians have today is always looking for one fault or the other.Even when there is no fault, we seem to create one just to be satisfy with the day. Many of us think only of the bad things that come from the country but failed to recognise the good deeds.

Hackney, please tell me a country that has no problem, and I will be the first to wipe out Nigeria from the surface of the earth.

Finally, I think the WHOLE WORLD IS SICK.

RomanceRe: I Cheat On Her,should I Confess To Her? by chrishenzo: 5:02pm On Apr 18, 2009
Hello,

Anyone that told you to confess to your wife is showing you a shortcut to an unhappy home. You did a very stupid act. You don't deserve to be called a husband. But a problem is no more a problem if we realize our mistake and say not to the mistake again.

There are some things we don't have to tell the victims; that is where reparation of sins comes in. Although if you confess, it will make you to look more a honest husband, but believe it or not, your wife will never trust you again.

Put yourself in that position, assuming that she woke you up one early morning and say to you" Darling, I have sex with someone at my zone", how would you feel after her confession? That is the same way she will feel.

Instead of confessing to her, why not do something you have never done before for her. Go an extra mile.

FamilyRe: Who Cheats More In Marriages? by chrishenzo: 5:05pm On Apr 10, 2009
I think women are more tempted to cheat in marriage for the following reason:=

If one thousand men love a lady/woman, nine hundred of those men will have the courage to approach the lady, thereby increasing the tendency of her unfaithfulness(esp. if the husband is a busy man or someone who doesn't show enough concern).
Secondly, some men will be 40yrs while their wife is 20yrs. The wife will sometimes see the husband as her uncle instead as husband.

But on a second thought, I think men do cheat for the following reason:-

If Okoro, Dele, Musa, babtunde, crazykid, etc, enjoy a marathon of sex outside marriage, he can still come back to apologize to lady if she happens to discover his evil act. And we all know that 99.9% of ladies will definitely forgive the husband. But if the lady is cut in that same act, 99.9% of men will spell out the word "GOODBYE" to the lady.

Secondly, most ladies, for the respect of their belove family(her parent family) won't like to engage in such an act to avoid damaging the reputation of her family.

Can a lady marry more than one husband( with the awareness of the husband)? If your answer is NO, then I think men cheat the most.

Purestboy, I wonder the type of planet you come from. You have the guts to tell someone who need help the most, to look for a grave. I wonder how you were raised. Even if she is lying(which I know she isn't), haven't you lied before.Unless you apologize to her, maybe you will be the one to look for the grave soon because you know the website first. How does it feel? I hope not bad!

Some months ago,guy committed suicide in front of his webcam while friends and people watched him. They thought he was joking. Everyone were laughing until after some hours.

Everyone has his/her different way of solving problems. Don't use majority to judge the whole community.

Hello poster, things might have fallen apart but it doesn't mean the world has come to an end. We are all afraid of AIDS because we know that our days are numbered once we test positive.

What is the essence of taking your life? If you take your life, what difference does it make? Do not be afraid of death rather be afraid to die a sinner.

The most important thing is to live your normal life. There are millions out there who suffer more than you do.You are among the lucky ones. I said you are lucky for the following reasons:-
1. You are already married and you are excepting a baby. Many are in the same situation but they have no family and soon their names will be forgotten in the history of the world. No one to remember them.No generation.
2. Your husband is also positive; that means he won't make life miserable for you. I believe you both are mature to enjoy life to its fullness.
3. You still have the whole time to raise a family, give your children the best education, see the smiles on their faces while they grow up, give them the best of mother's love. They still need you. Please live for the sake of them.

I know a couple who are still alive and it has been more than 11yrs when a doctor broke the news to them. What are secrets. It is nothing but they put smiles on their faces all the time. Eat their healthy foods.Follow adhere to their treatments. And they look so healthy up till this very moment. HIV patients start dying as soon as  worry sets in. Don't allow that be you.

Finally, if you think of committing suicide, I suggest you first take a walk to any general hospital. Look at the sick people around there. Spent at least thirty minutes with them. Then from the hospital, go straight to the mortuary tell the attendant to open the door for you. Just spent about 15minutes watching the immobile men/women/children as they lie as if they were never born.

After that, I believe you will realize the amount of love God have for you. Please never think of suicide again. It pains me even though we don't know each other. Enjoy your life. Everyone has his own problem. So you are not in any trouble. Everyone has always been in trouble from the moment Adam and Eve left the garden of Eden.

EducationWho Is An Illiterate? by chrishenzo(op): 5:30am On Apr 05, 2009
I have always been baffled by this question

Why do we call someone who doesn't know how to speak English an illiterate(despite he/she having a great knowledge in order areas of life) but most of us do not know how to speak our own language?

I have experienced many occasions whereby the governors, presidents, MCs, Presenters, etc, made a mistake in their speech and some group of friends/people started laughing and calling names.

My questions is this:- Who is an illiterate; A person who knows how to speak his language well and still able to communicate in a foreign language( though not fluently) or a person who doesn't know his language?

If speaking English means literacy, what happens to a country like Togo, China, etc( where English is not their official or main language). Does it mean that they are all illiterates?

What do you understand by the word ILLITERATE?
EducationTest Your Reasoning And Beat It If You Can. by chrishenzo(op): 5:09am On Apr 05, 2009
Hello everyone, I would like us to challenge/taste our thinking ability/IQ by asking ourselves questions. Here is the rule,
1. Before you post a question, please be sure to log in every day to see if someone has gotten the answer, and don't forget to confirm(YES or No) to any answer posted.
2. After seven days( to allow us think properly/research well), and no one seems to get the correct answer, the poster will say the correct answer.
3. Please do not post another question until the previous question has been answered.

I believe we shall adhere to the rules. Don't forget that you are matured. Please don't act immature.
Anyway here comes my questions:-

A monk was walking in the monastery garden during a period of meditation. He encountered another monk, who was smoking as he walked slowly along the path.
"Did you get permission to smoke during mediation?" asked the first monk.
"Yes, I was given permission."
"But I asked if I could smoke during meditation and was turned down."

Question:- Why did the first monk turned down and the second monk permitted to smoke during meditation?
CultureRe: Solve The Nigerian Problem By Banning Our Local Languages. by chrishenzo: 11:02am On Mar 07, 2009
@POSTER, Your point is not bad. I'm ready for the change if only you can do this for me:- Sing happy birthday to You(the happy birthday song), using your own language. Hey! don't lie, did you get it?

My reason is this, I was in a class of about 30students from different countries, a girl was celebrating her birthday so the teacher asked everyone of us to sing the song(Happy birthday to You) in our own language. An english guy sang, German sang, Spanish sang, French, Sweden, etc, but when it reached my turn, believe me that was the day I realise how we are neglecting our own language.

Anyway, my point is this, I think your view is nice but we have to know/understand every bit/single word of our mother langugage before we start changing.

PoliticsNigeria Is Corrupt; What Of You? by chrishenzo(op): 4:41pm On Feb 15, 2009
We all have come to conclusion that our beloved country is corrupt. Many people believe that the problems are from our incumbent leaders. Please I want you to answer this question: Are You Not A Leader?, I have never met a soul who is not a leader. In every corners of life, there must be someone under us. How do you lead the person. If you find yourself taking advantage of the person, then call yourself another bad politician. Let's not forget that our leaders of today were once kids. If only they can tell us how they spent their childhood life, I believe there won't be much different as most of us are spending ours now.And that same bad politician we will be, if we turn out tomorrow to lead a large group of people called CITIZENS OF A NATION.

I might agree that our leaders are corrupt but when someone blame another person for his or her immorality, I don't think you should blame the government. Must we continue to point fingers at the government. They are completely a failure to the nation but it won't be the cause of our failure. When you allow the problems of today to becloud your sense of reasoning, then you are a loser.

In every one thousand problems, there are one thousand solutions. The problem in our country today is the inability to use our inner mind in a genuine way.About 60% of our us lie on our bed each day thinking on how to devour our next prey. We fail to think in an upright way. We have failed to use our brains to create something better. If we channel the same thoughts towards something better, we will move mountains.

Don't think I'm in support of the leaders. Believe me, I hate anything politics. But must I sit at a place and continue to grunt. Of course not.Let me tell you why I quit grunting; It is because today I am nobody but I strongly believe with every bit of my heart that Tomorrow I will be somebody. Then when I grunt, they must hear me(That is when my dreams must have been achieved).

My fellow citizens, our great country won't change unless we change now. There is a great force behind CHANGE.
