Before I install Ubuntu, I'd like to know if there's a way I can convert. .exe files to Linux format. I have a lot of .exe set up files (about 600 to be precise) and I can't imagine saying bye to them just like that as almost all the software I come across are in the .exe format. Also can Visual Basic 6 & .NET work on it?

Either way, are you a programmer? If you are not, i bet you'll hardly ever need that button. If that's the case, please remove it. I think you can do without it, but don't leave it exposed.

If you'll need that key in the future, just go to Accessories/Accessibility/On screen keyboard. then u can see all your keys in a logical format.


Option two, remove the key and see if the suspender's gone bad/worn out/pressed in. see if you can pull it out. By default, pressing the key (hard) on the keyboard should snap it into it's former position.

you are not alone, my hp ze4800's space bar key is also bad, i've removed the plastic suspenders and i'm using the bar on the knob directly.

What do you intend to do with it?

It is okay for learning some programming language, Microsoft Office, Reading for professional exams, Some CorelDraw 10 and some games. But if you will be playing serious games and doing some graphics, please get a bigger system.

By the way if you are purchasing that, it shouldnt go for more than 10,000 or 11,000 naira max (2nd hand without monitor @ the computer village)
